Crescent looked to Kuro, who spoke about drawing something towards their location, "I'm guessing we should be able to smell an intruder miles out. If we're going to rest here we could take shifts. Say. The two most uninjured take half the night each. We don't need as much rest as the others do, so we'll stay guard and the first sign of enemy presence we can get up and allow the others to hightail it. We'll move at the back of the pack as protection. So I guess that puts me up for taking the first half of the night shift?" Crescent asked standing up and padding around a little.
Crescent moved over to Streak, "Your brother looks exhausted himself. it may be a little risky... but wouldn't it be easier if we were to all get some rest, maybe food to help our strength? If we're rested up we'll cover more ground too, rather than moving at a pup's pace we can move faster because we gave ourselves rest." Crescent said padding over near the bushes, staying out of attacking distance, "Come on out, and don't think for one second you're going to attack us. We outnumber you ten to one. You'll be torn to shreds before you can get a good n** at either of us. Even in your injured state." Crescent said then looked to Jet with a shrug, "You guys were scared of him attacking you, right?" Crescent asked.

My Critical Acclaim Jet will be taking it then... if it's alright with you guys. "No. They had planned an alliance of the sort to hunt for food. I was only following them when the Arctic mix had wanted to attack. She was not preparing for what would happen later." Jet explained to Crescent. "If you do not mind, I would like to take first shift." I don't want to sit around here, doing nothing. I'd rather stay up then get some rest.

Crescent nodded, "If you wouldn't mind I'd stay up as well. I could probably take the second shift too if we are going to stay. I'm just not really tired right now." Crescent said pausing, then looking back to Kuro. "You didn't tell me your name did you? I can't remember... so I'm Crescent. I'm sure you heard me saying but what is your name and where did you come from?" Crescent asked, "Unless that's something you don't want to talk about. It's fine I guess." The male sat down on his hind legs beside the wolf he was now talking to.
He took some time to contemplate his situation while he waited for the response. He had just found some new wolves. They seemed to have formed a pack with him. They both had sides in which they were going to fight against each other, so what if they did end up fighting each other later? He wouldn't have a side to choose. Would that mean they were going to both attack him or they would ignore him? Well disregarding his predicament he looked back to the wolf waiting for the reply to his question. That Asian Nerd I'm fine with it, I'm sure everyone else would be too.

"Jet." Where did I come from? "I don't know.. What about you?" Jet changed the subject. She felt uncomfortable talking about such things.

{{I've missed to much therefore it'd be best to draw my character onto his own path. ouo I shall be running into you lot soon though once i'm up to speed.}}
Subliminals' chasms drifted toward the lithosphere allowing a passive labrum to dominate the brutes visage. Knowing that this opportunity was a rare one, he was forced to turn it down. Taking a gamble with a solemn wolf style of living.
Perhaps i'll run into them again.. He thought contently shrugging it off as his occulus examined each of their faces and instilling their scents in his memory.
Abrading the dry crimson liquid off his maw for sustenance he'd crawl back a bit figuring Scarlett could handle herself being that she calmed down and facile-y trotted through the woods in search of the con-caved tree. A short moment after, a coy smile swept across his maw when he spotted it and almost immediatly rushing his bulk inside; coiling up in a consolement of his own whilst chasms grew heavy forcing him to slink into a light slumber.

"Nice to meet you, Jet." Crescent said drifting off into his own thought before he heard the female ask where he had come from, "Where'd I come from? Oh the East. A while back, a friend and I made a break from an old human encampment... we got separated. I don't know what happened to my friend but the humans sent some attack dogs after me. Soon they became.. they got some sort of infection, I don't know how to describe it... anyway, they'd be chasing me until recently when I got sick of them and tried to take them down on my own. I succeeded. Luckily. That's when I ran into the rest of you, all fighting about stupid stuff." Crescent said, turning his head to the sky in thought of his friend. I will find you, some day, Quinn. Crescent brought his attention back to Jet, "Enough about me. Anything you want to talk about?" He asked curiously.

wolf_lord77 If you need a catch up or anything just let me know. Even though I'm not posting back at everyone (due to work) I still read everything when it's posted. Bullet listened to the two chat a bit. She was very tired all of a sudden. Bullet decided to lay down for a bit. Though sleep may not happen at least she would be able to rest her body. Eyes lingered on the spotted one, unsure if she could be trusted or not.

Scarlett watch the wolves as they formed the pack. She had asked for acceptance, so she would fallow them for now. With a glance over her shoulder she was her once ally run off, she knew it wouldn't be the last time they saw them. Deciding the pack would stay here for the night seemed like a good idea. With out stretched claws Scarlett moved to the largest tree in the area. The tree she chose happened to be above the two chatter wolves. Uncaring of them she moved next to it. Human tinkering did have its up sides. Cat-like claws easy moved her large form to a fair height. Stretching out along a good sized branch Scarlett began to relax. She wanted to observe the husky and the wolf called Jet anyway. They seemed to come out of nowhere, and the dog had a slight human scent to him. He soon told the she-wolf he too had escaped a human's containment. Scarlett smirked, So he was a house pet after all.

Ember ran through the forest, her blood red pelt blending in with the sunset of the sky. She had smelled others like her from far away, she was so happy she wasn't the only one. After she killed the other wolves she found a year or so ago she thought she was alone, until just recently when she caught that same smell from long ago. She never meant to kill them, but they were planning to kill her. Their exploding bodies and blood all around her still haunts her dreams, but she doest care anymore. She ran up a small hill that also looked like it as bathed in blood, then stopped as she looked down at the small group of wolves down by the river. Most of them laid down by a tree, and one of them was up in a tree. She wanted to run down there and be accepted and welcomed, but she stayed rooted to the spot wondering if they too would try to kill her. So instead of moving she just sat down where she was at and looked up at the sky.

Kuro sighed and took a few deep breaths. His body had been fatigued a bit due to constant travel and meager food supplies. It was time for him to rest and this lot seemed to form a stable relationship reducing the suspicions of everyone slaughtering each other in the middle of the night. Padding over to the side of his mate he sat his hind quarters on the ground and watched around as the Jet and crescent conversed for a bit.
Streak decided to scope out the surrounding areas to their little camp. That small meal earlier was enough to sustain him for weeks. He had the energy and renewed strength to take care of himself if needs be. He padded far enough away to where the conversation sounded like hushed whispers. He out away from the river. As he trotted past a hill his ears perked up at the sound of rustling bushes not to far from him. The scent of blood was heavy from that way. He decided to trace it back to its source and discover who the scent belonged to. He slowly came upon and feminine figure cloaked in a red coat. He observed her from behind hidden downwind in a bush. Finding out her intentions was a new objective so for now he'd just watch.

Ember thought about the wolves that she had killed when defending herself, the look of horror as their limbs swelled and then exploded, or when they watched a fellow wolf's head blow up like a balloon and then pop. She remembered the taste of blood on her mouth and how much she had liked it. Her stomach rumbled and she realized just how hungry she was. Looking back down at the wolves she promised herself that she'd be back to join after she eats something...maybe. Just as she turned around the blood that stained her fur rippled, and she froze. She then pretended to shake it off like it was the wind, and walked back down the hill. Then once she felt she was out of view from the group the blood from her back moved towards Streak lightning fast and grabbed his foot and pulled him out towards her. Her clean white coat could be seen with tentacles made of blood piled up on her back. "Who are you?" She growled threateningly.

Crescent's ears perked up, hearing a growl not far off. He got to his paws and looked to Jet, "Something is wrong." He darted off; coming into view of the wolf who was now with Streak. She wasn't familiar and she looked like she was about to attack Streak. Crescent doubled his speed; pushing his hind legs to kick him from the ground he leaped and tackled the female to the ground, growling down at her while using his paws to pin her and locking his jaws around her throat. In this position, it looked like he wasn't going to get answers. He pulled his jaws away from her neck but kept her pinned, "We are not going to harm you as long as you do not harm us." He said calmly, "Who are you and why did you attack a member of our pack?" With what he said, he let the female go and backtracked to Streak keeping his eyes on the attacker. He made sure Streak was alright then looked back to the female, awaiting her answer. Hopefully if this goes wrong, they can both take her using teamwork.
A wolf who managed to take another by surprise wasn't common in the wasteland. Something must have been different about this wolf. Crescent kept his eyes on her. The others should be able to join his side soon.

Streak got up quite surprised that that the female detected him. "Thanks Crescent" Streak readied himself in case she chose to attack. He glanced at Jet relieved to see that came and back at the wolf irritated that she attacked him. "Be careful with this one. It seems the she has some influence over blood. I was concealed but she found out I was there, like she already knew."
Kuro heard the commotion and lifted to his paws seeing that Jet felt the same way they'd take care of it. "Both of you stay here. I'll go figure out whats going on." He directed his tail towards Bullet and Jet. He turned and ran off to the hill. Arriving behind his two pack members he observed the bloodied female and looked at Crescent. "What going on here? Who is this bloody wolf stirring up trouble?"

Jet sighed. Another problem? She looked at Bullet. "Excuse me for a bit." She then stood up and ran over to where the rest were. Crescent had a wolf down. These guys.. Always using violence... "What is going on here?" She yelled as loud as she could. "Who started this? You guys know better than this. We just resolved a problem not too long ago and now more trouble is stirring? We have an injured wolf back at camp. You want to fight and tire? Crescent! Did you not say we should rest for the tomorrow? Let the wolf go."

Frostridge had not understood the carrying-ons which made her already throbbing head ache far worse; finally, some consensus seemed to be reached as the wolves visibly relaxed, rather then rip each other's throat out.
The husky was playful, almost childish. His black and white markings so reminded her of Toska, her old teammate, a cheerful medic with a similarly friendly nature- a pang of ache echoed in her chest at the remembrance of just how alone she was, not knowing if her former team was alive or dead...
The husky had the smell of altered blood on him, which made her uneasy at first. She had seen first hand what would happen if a non-immune consumed the flesh of an altered; even with immunity, the severe, terrifying hallucinations were more then enough for her to steer clear. But the blood smelled old and stale, that peculiar rotten scent faded with time. Hopefully, he was not infected, lest she have to put him down herself...
The group seemed to decide to rest, and she decided to excuse herself to go take care of the altered corpse, lest some hapless creature feast on it. She limped back the way the old scent of her blood trail lay and soon found the mass of distorted fur. Even dead, its terrifying bony plates and angular tusks made her grimace- she got up close, raising her head above the dead corpse clicked a fang expertly into a tiny slot in the handle of her blade. A single pellet fell from it and disappeared into the deep fur she backed hastily away. There was a short series of ticking noise, before a tiny explosion and a patch of fur erupted into flames as the incendiary capsule went off with its fuel source-
Soon the remains of the Altered were blazing into the deep night sky, as she watched the acrid flames thoughtfully as she re sheathed her blade. She had only a few capsules left, and the humans had been the ones to provide her with them, so she had to be careful with her limited supply...Could she trust this new overwhelming development, with so many wolves? Her rib cage was still knitting itself back together, her energy reserves, both natural and not were running dry- Tired, still hungry and battered, but she had a team now, things did not seem so dark...
She silently practiced what little she remembered of the wolven tongue. "Brother...hurt...no...bird...sky...grass." the words felt clumsy on her lips, but still she practiced-
An overwhelming smell of blood. Not right. Not right... And the scent of the streaked one, the husky- they were in danger.
With a snarl, she forced herself to her feet, following the direction of her nose- the air around her chilled as her body dipped into far colder temperatures, masking most of her scent and her heat signature, the light of the stars wrapped around her making her a mere shimmer of air to the natural eye- More a ghost instead of a wolf, she made her way to the location, on edge though she stumbled and her nerves screamed. In no condition for a prolonged fight, but they were in danger.
Frostridge made her way to the scene, a phantom as she observed the intense standoff. There was something about this blood spattered female, something off that made her feel like she did when going toe to toe with a Hunter Class Altered. She was a danger. Still, as her other new comrades also began to arrive, they did not move as if waiting for her to speak. On silent feet, she padded closer unseen, the dagger already held confidently in her teeth. She would end this quickly if the Bloodied One made one false move- she had enough in her now for that at least.
