Shun nibbled at the carrot some more and nodded.
"If you must know... I've made some pudding that won't be guarded by a knife. This time. But if you are full, then the opportunity shall be missed," he said with a light shrug.

Pudding....of course it would be pudding. And this time it wasn't guarded. Like Mitsu was going to pass that up. "I can....eat a little more." She said softly, poking at a carrot again before picking it up with her fork and nibbling at it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't her favorite thing. Where was Milo when she needed him? He would eat this for her no problem.
She had yet to really taste the pudding Shun had made since the last time he had actually offered it she hadn't been up to eating it at the time. Then the opportunity had been missed but not this time!

Shun had a feeling that Mitsu would have room for that. Having finished his meal, the Reaper just waited for her to do the same. As for the pudding, it was highly unlikely he would allow her to eat some without the blades there again anytime soon. Enjoy this moment, Mitsu.
When she had finished as well, he got up and went to his mini fridge to get two cups of pudding.
"Would you like whipped cream?"

It honestly took Mitsu a while to finish her vegetables. Far from being her favorite food they weren't entirely palatable. Every bite made her think that she was eating the trimmings from someone's lawn work. The carrots were a little easier, they actually had a slightly sweet taste to them compared to the others but eventually everything on her plate was gone and Mitsu set everything aside as Shun got up to retrieve their dessert.
"Whipped cream?" She looked mesmerized. "I get whipped cream too?" This was the best day ever.

The Reaper took that as a yes. He went ahead and applied whipped cream to both cups of pudding... though one he was a lot more liberal with how much he gave. This was the one he set out in front of Mitsu.
"Here you go. Enjoy," he said softly before taking a seat and grabbing his spoon so he could start eating his own dessert.

Mitsu fidgeted in her seat excitedly seeing Shun pile the whipped cream high on one of the desserts. She could already taste it and her tongue licked her lips in anticipation. When he set it in front of her she quickly took up her spoon ready to give it a try but another idea came to mind.
Getting a decent helping of pudding and whipped cream on her spoon she held the dessert up to Shun for the first bite. "You worked really hard its only fair you get the first bite." It was saying something since when it came to sweets she wasn't prone to sharing.

Shun's expression softened for the moment but he soon nodded. Getting a small spoonful, he went ahead and take a bite.
"This is pretty good," he commented. Though, he already knew that much. He was rather happy with how his personal pudding turned out. After that, he watched her intently, to see her own reaction. She hadn't had a chance to taste this particular pudding before after all.

After Shun had the first bite Mitsu didn't waste any time in digging into her dessert. As the treat first touched her tongue she hummed her approval her eyes closing as she savored her first bite. It was really really good. Far better than anything she had tasted so far. Shun had obviously worked very hard to make this...and was likely going to hold it out of reach until she got over her fear. The realization made her want to sigh but she decided to enjoy it while it lasted. Who knew when she would get any next.
Mitsu actually took her time finishing her dessert and when it was done she placed the cup and spoon aside and scooted her way toward Shun. Placing a gentle kiss in the corner of his mouth she smiled up at him. "Thank you for an amazing evening."

When Shun had finished as well, he set the little cup down before turning towards Mitsu as she kissed the corner of his lips. A soft smile touched his features, before he lightly caressed the side of her face.
"It's not a problem. Anything for you," he whispered, ""I love you."
That said, he leaned in and kissed her in turn.
