Hold it together, birds of a feather, Nothing but lies and crooked wings.
((Rolling to keep his thoughts to himself)) "I will do what I can. However, I want clarification. Not saying things would change, but if they did and someday a long time from now Mei felt that way about a demon, or I felt that way about an angel... Would that be an issue? I know people like me are the scum of the Earth to you, but not all of us are bad. Sometimes I wish things were different. That maybe I was born with a choice or something... Ugh what am I talking about? Nevermind. I will do what I can to prevent it." Abaddon replied and he wasn't sure he wanted to say this but he wondered about it for whatever reason. Her words haunting his thoughts, 'Couldn't you just love me?'He wasn't even sure why her feelings for him bothered him so deeply, but they did. I have the answer, spreading the cancer, You are the faith inside me.

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az sighed and rolled his shoulders. "We'll cross that bridge when it comes, Abaddon. You have two years here, I'd like to think you can show me that your statement is true. But you'll be trying to reverse many years of bad experience with your kind. I'm sure it's the same way for your mother. She's not exactly angel friendly." He shook his head.
"If things change... let me know. Don't jump into anything, just... let me know. Alright? I'm not exactly fair to you, I know. It's hard to change old habits, but for the sake of this conversation, I'll try. We'll have an understanding, right? Just... don't give me a stroke and I'll try not to put you in detention ten times a week for so much a breakthing, yeah?" I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse

Hold it together, birds of a feather, Nothing but lies and crooked wings. "It would probably be better if you still randomly gave me detention. I would prefer not tonight. I kind of have plans." Abaddon replied, "I will work on the not giving you a stroke thing. I promised Mei I wouldn't lie to her anymore. I can't keep making promises to Angels. It will make me lose my demon-cred."I have the answer, spreading the cancer, You are the faith inside me.

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az shook his head, slightly amused. "Alright. I'll keep up the facade of angry dad in front of your mother. We'll speak of this to no one but Mei. Feel free to tell her she's not grounded, though I'm still debating the therapist thing after earlier's incident." He stretched for a moment. "Enjoy your plans. I'll give you detention sometime next week." He grinned. "Wouldn't want to destroy your rep." I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse

Hold it together, birds of a feather, Nothing but lies and crooked wings. "Is there any way we could keep this conversation from Mei." Abaddon asked, "I asked her if she wanted me to come to you, and she didn't seem like that was what she wanted. It seemed more than anything she just wanted to be left alone for a while."Abaddon sat there for a second and looked Az in the eye, "Nevermind. You should tell her I came clean about the marriage heist. I promised I wouldn't lie anymore in regards to her or to her. If you tell her she isn't grounded anymore, maybe she will quit fighting you so much."Abaddon wasn't sure why he was doing all of this exactly. He decided to keep only one secret, Mei's confession of her feelings. Other than that... He figured he could tell the truth just this once. I have the answer, spreading the cancer, You are the faith inside me.

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az nodded. "Once she comes out of her room I'll talk to her. Or maybe I'll try and go see her. I don't know which would upset her less." He frowned lightly. "Thank you for having this talk with me, Abaddon." Az held his hand out to the boy. For once in his life he was glad that the demon kid came to him before doing anything else. I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse

Abaddon stood and shook Az's hand. "No problem. She may be at the pool or in her room. She said she needed to relax. Anyway I will let you get back to whatever it is you were doing." Abaddon said after he let go of Az's hand. He then headed for the door so he could make his way back to the grounds where he would look for Liz. I have the answer, spreading the cancer, You are the faith inside me.

I've been believing in something so distant As if I was human And I've been denying this feeling of hopelessness In me, in me
Making her way up to the door Apple knocked carefully on it, meekly almost. Her smile was caring and warm and even her cold voice seemed almost homely as she spoke. “I would like to speak with the headmaster if at all possible.” She said nicely, sweetly even. She hoped she wasn’t interrupting anything.

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az looked up from Soleil's file upon hearing the knock. "Do come in." He said, standing. "I am Headmaster Az Onan, is there something I can do for you?" He asked, looking to the woman. She certainly couldn't be a student. He held out his hand as she approached. I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse

Apple smiled sweetly at Az as the door opened. “I am Applinecia Gregorie, I’m here in hopes of taking on a teaching role. I hope they have not all been filled yet Headmaster.” She said as she took his hand. “I’ve been looking forward to the possibility of teaching here for quite some time.”

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az raised and eyebrow. "Please have a seat. Tell me a bit about yourself?" He sat down and pulled out the application. Why today of all days, did he get people looking for staff positions? He'd been looking for months prior, as they were slightly understaffed, but had found no takers. "Why exactly have you been interested in this job?" I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse

Taking the seat offered Apple crossed her feet at the ankle and folded her hands in her lap. “A bit about myself? Well I’m a full blooded angel, a seraphim to be exact Headmaster. I am saddened to say it but I am also an original, from the Fall.” Shifting her head slightly Apply’s serpentine green eyes glinted under the rooms light, a remnant of her betrayal. “As for why I am interested, I cannot say I can put my finger on it directly but quite a lot about it does seem interesting, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to teach anyway.”

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az hummed lightly. "So would you be more interesting in teaching angeilc children or demonic? As one of the Fallen, I'm sure you could handle either." He slid the application form toward her. "You'll need to fill this out, either way." Well what could it hurt. She seemed rather eager for the job, and it didn't take much to be able to teach children of their kind. If she was an original from the Fall then she would be able to teach them as much if not more than anyone else on campus. I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse

Apple smiled softly as she took the papers from Az and began to fill them out. “If possible I would not mind working with both. I understand if that is not an option, so if must be I would like to work with the angelic. But I do have experience with both sides. And as for the subject any will do. I’m well knowledgeable in all categories.” Finishing the paperwork off quickly she sat the pen down and looked back up at the angelic headmaster as she slid the finished paperwork towards him. Her serpentine eyes glimmering.

Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Keep it coming and I'll light the way home Az nodded. "I'm sure we can find you an appropriate teaching position." He took the file and scanned it in to send a copy to Ashtoreth. "I will discuss it with my Co Head, Ashtoreth. We'll have you an answer here shortly. In the meantime, have you had any background in teaching?" He asked as he continued to scan in the paperwork. He wasn't going to make this interview like Sariel's. Sariel was a favor he was doing for both him and Talya. Hopefully this would redeem Sariel somehow. Poor man needed a bit of sanity. This woman, however, seemed like she was actually interested in being a teacher. I'll be there to take your hurt Even if I come off worse
