Bristling at the sight of the enemy, Kronos lunged, only to flop to the floor and send a spray of mud towards the Ninetales.

Apolla was sprayed with mud and growled in disgust at Kronos. She backed up and narrowed her eyes. Her tails flared out and her eyes flashed as she again disabled her opponent.

The fur on Kronos' neck ruffled, and she found herself unable to use Dig again against her opponent. Her eyes narrowed: she recognized the sensation from earlier on in their battle. Cautiously, she whapped a paw to see if she would be able to slap mud at her opponent again.

Apolla was not happy to get slapped with some mud. She hissed at Kronos while backing up. Her tails flared and her eyes glowed as she again tried to confuse the dog.

Kronos wobbled hesitatingly on her paws. Suddenly, she fell back roughly on her butt, sending more mud Apolla's way.

Apolla dodged the mud by simply stepping to the side. Her tails flared again and her eyes glowed. If only she could get Kronos to be confused for longer.

Kronos yipped, disoriented by the Ninetales' continuous stares. She slapped her forepaws on the ground, slapping more mud at her opponent while struggling to her feet.

Apolla was hit with more mud and wobbled back. This was just ruining her coat! She looked over her shoulder to glare at her trainer.
Alexa sighed and recalled Apolla. She then tossed out Stribog. He was on his last legs but maybe he could pull a miracle. They certainly needed one right now.
Stribog flew around for a moment before going straight for Kronos. He slapped at her with a wing and with enough force to break a rock.

Kronos was forced back from the blow as cuts erupted along her sides. With a growl both pained and angry, she snapped at the air with frozen teeth.

Stribog wasn't fast enough to avoid the frozen bite. He fell down in a heap and was recalled.
Alexa recalled Stribog and sighed. Looks like they lost this time. She looked at Karin and waved. "Thanks for the battle!" She called out. She then left heading for a pokemon center to heal her team.

"And thank you!" Genesis returned, calling Kronos to her before the Poochyena could start howling her victory again. Hoisting the happy and tired pup under her arms, she headed off.
