Aeonc1 Ohhmaru-Concoo-Tanoweichi I have a question about the lvling system. So I understand that every 20 posts you get a lvl then it resets but the needed posts go up by 1. My question is what do you get from the lvls. Is there a set amount of points you get and such? You get 5 skill points to increase your abilities with each level up.

Ah, just realised I was supposed to come here to ask my questions. Can someone explain to me a bit more about the history of chimeras? Also, in terms of weapons, do claws count as 'hand-to-hand', or 'daggers'? Do the different ranks of weapons have different damage potentials?

I already answered the chimera question in the introduction thread, but I'll answer it again here. The history of your oc is mostly up to you, though chimeras are created, not born. Claws would fall under hand-to-hand or the specific claw weapon category, depending on how your character is built. If by damage potentials you mean maximum damage a weapon can do, nothing like that has been set yet, but it's on my list of things to discuss with the boss man when he comes back.

Right, from the history, it seems to say that chimeras get warped into monsters while bargaining with some unknown force for power. Does it matter what this force is? I discovered that totem basically just means 'defence ability'. Can you tell me instead if shapeshifting is allowed as an ability? Are there any limits on what you can have as your abilities?

Okay, I'd like the power of emotion-based shapeshifting, but I'm not sure quite how to get it. I would like this to be a power that my character can activate at any time, depending on her mood. E.g. When she's really happy, she could turn into a golden retriever with bright, colourful parrot wings. Or if she's sad, she would turn into a droopy slime monster maybe. In the mood to hunt, she could develop a hunting hound's head and sense of smell. In the mood for speed, perhaps a cheetah's body with hare legs. Etc. How would I get this power? Could I call it a constant summon-ability if I chose to give up a base element and put all my points to unlock the element of Body? I had the impression though, that summons were one-use things that you could only activate once every few posts or something.
