Once she was certain that Cale wasn't going to immediately return to sender, Aetyra leaned in conspiratorially, putting an arm around the now thoroughly inebriated woman. She smiled evilly.
"I cheated..." she whispered, and, pushing the mugs and alcohol out of the way, Aetyra pressed Cale back gently, forcing her to lean backwards. The death knights' lips came in close, not caring that she reeked of booze, and sealed a kiss closely on Cale's with a sort of immediacy that would be hard to resist.
It was as much for her own benefit as it was to entertain onlookers... the death knight had a weakness for showing off, bordering on exhibitionism.

"Huh... wha...?"
Cale wasn't exactly quick on the uptake. Before she could even respond to Aetyra's 'confession', she was leaning back and the night elf was practically on top of her.
Almost automatically, Cale's arms went up around Aetyra's waist, splaying her hands across the other woman's back and she returned the kiss. This was a rhythm that Cale's body knew well; Go to party, get hammered, partake in immediate and meaningless physical intimacy with a stranger.
Except there were one or two things that didn't quite add up to complete the equation properly. When Cale realized that the other woman's rather voluptuous chest was pressing against her own smaller one, her eyes flew open and she pulled back from the kiss with a gasp.
"Wait. Waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait--! You... cheated?!"

Too easy... Aetyra thought to herself. The lack of resistance amused her, but less so than the fact that the primary point of outrage was that she had, in fact, been cheating the entire time.
The death knight gave her newest victim a bit of space to talk but otherwise didn't let her go anywhere. "Oh yes, I cheated really hard..." she breathed. "Not being mortal has perks you know. I'm such a bad girl..." The evil grin returned. "Such a bad, bad girl."
This too was done more to drum up the inevitable crowd, as she pressed herself against the fighter's athletic form, sliding a hand down to her waist.
"You are really delicious, babe. May I?"
And then she pressed in for a second kiss, this time insistent on exploring the girl's mouth with reckless abandon, not caring a whit about anyone offended by such blatant intimacy in public.

Of all things, Cale felt triumphant in that moment when Aetyra confirmed that she had, in fact, been cheating. Because that meant Cale won by default.
And Cale liked to win.
She didn't even have time to come up with some ironic comment about Aetyra only just now asking for permission, because the undead elf hadn't really given her the time to form a response before she was leaning in again.
Cale's mind briefly wandered, and she couldn't help but wonder what Ko would think if he found her in such a compromising position. Certainly, she thought, it would be nothing good.
But the answer to that dilemma was quite simply the fact that her boss/prospective lover was not present to see her making a drunken mess of herself. And Aetyra's persistence, her dominance, was admirable. Cale liked a partner who was willing to take what they wanted and not be shy about it.
Granted, she'd always preferred male partners, but... Well, the night elf was very persuasive and Cale decided to enjoy herself while she could. Maybe this was her 'prize.'

Thurgood watches Aetyra and Cale as the women kiss, and can't help but notice Aetyra's lack of intoxication next to Cale's state, and concludes that the night elf is like Rhoslyn Vernal in the sense that ethanol doesn't affect them like it does normal people, Rhoslyn could guzzle 400 gallons of ethanol, slam his fist and demand more, and Aetyra may be the same way. Aveline rolls her eyes before both wander off to serve more strong booze to competitors.

A man who looks to be in his mid 30's walks into the hotel's lobby an approaches the desk. He is wearing shades over his eyes and seems to have a golden gem on his forehead. He wears black loose jeans, sneakers, and a black button t-shirt. He takes a look around and sighs. Damien has been traveling for the better part of the week and appears to be utterly exhausted

" My original land is unknown to me, but most of my existence has been in that forsaken realm of Makai or at least one of their dimensions. "
Darius facial expression shifted from that maniacal grimace to a miserly look on him. It definitely wasn't a subject he preferred to mention to anyone in particular, even amidst an intriguing drinking partner. Accepting his generosity, the sociopath lifted his newly poured shot glasses and gulped them down like a true glutton. This place lacked the chaos he was accustomed towards, granted soon he would be indulged with some entertaining fights. Just maybe he would get the opportunity to wipe that cocky smug look off Damon's face, but for now he would have fun at the resort.

He finished few more shots, sliding the bottle to Darius as he pushed his own glasses forward to the edge of the bar to signal he was through. He may have a few drinks a day back home but it had been a year or two since he had put away such strong alcohol in quick amounts.
"Never heard of Makai, although interesting you would end up here on your own accord. Place must of been terrible to have to come to this plane." He adjusted the top of his collar as the thickness of his clothing mixed with the drinking started to make him sweat a bit. He heard his name said next to him by Terra as he turned his head and gave the woman a quick nod out of politeness. With her attention taken, he patted Darius on the back and slid the rest of the bottle in front of him and smiled as he stood. "I need to get a bit of air to let this alcohol settle, it was nice drinking with you. Good luck in the tournament, I will be watching."
He gave Terra a pat on the back as he walked by her, heading outside to the pool area where he let himself rest on one of the lay out chairs. Leaning it back a bit, he looked up at the sky and sighed a bit. He had drank waaayyy to much.
The dragons stayed in the bar area as they were too busy trying to poison each other's drinks with magic to notice Doji walk right out the door.

"Well this is going nowhere," Thurgood thinks as he wanders around to find competitors to get drunk, "I really should see if the stage-builders need any help..."
With that, Thurgood takes wahat's left of his shine upstairs, fetches his battle gear, takes his left arm ut of the sling, then goes down to the service entrance. Surely somebody there that can tell him where the crew is setting up the first fighting space.
"Yes they can; and don't call me Shirley," Leslie Nielsen says from the hallway, then disappears again.

Arretsu He was strange, the way he lit up when she mentioned her relation to Terra, and how her parents were both within the hotel. From the little bit of story she was told of him, she never understood the devotion he had towards her mother. He had a good heart, she knew that much, just found it difficult to figure him out now that he stood physically before her.
"My name is Ellie, it is a pleasure to finally meet you."
Curiosity piqued, her aura tentatively reached out, inspecting him, and feeling the energy that surrounded almost all living beings.
"What had brought you here? Was it by chance? Or did you hear of their presence here?" Her aura could feel arcane energy lingering in his body, a pool of it centered around his stomach area, which was considered a chakra point in his body. The energy fueled into smaller pools around his body, like a skeleton that stretched into each limb and up to the head. It was serene and calm in the way it felt to her.
"By word of mouth. Doji is an evasive man. So to find him, I had to count on the most experienced of networks. That included goblins and shelling out a large set of money and work."
He sighed, the memories of all the work he did just to get up to the point being relived through his head. Fortunately, it allowed him to acquire two more swords, which he was grateful for.
"But I'm here now, and that's what matters."

The arcane energy she felt through out his body made a shiver course down her spine, and a feeling of calmness settled over her. Withdrawing her aura, her now glowing turquoise eyes roamed over his form. "Yes he can be very evasive, even mother has trouble keeping tabs on him."
A soft chuckled escaped from her, as her head slowly shook back and forth. "Yes you're here. Though why exactly have you been looking for Doji?" Ellie asked, curious as to what would drive this person to peruse her father across Gaia.

Kuro knew all too well of Doji's negligence of his wife to the point that he became her self-claimed guardian back in the day. Without her husband to do so, he had to take his place. He did not think in terms of replacing Doji as her lover or caretaker. Simply as her "samurai." A sword that protects its master till its death. It was Z. Kuro's life.
"Doji is the only one who can teach me the true path of the swordsman. There are many masters in this world, but I follow his philosophy the most. Unfortunately, I am not exactly the perfect fan. I use magic, whereas he only counts on his skill and intellect. Therefore, if all goes well, I will attempt to sacrifice my supernatural abilities in favor of becoming a full student under his teachings."

"You would actually do that? That is....a lot to give up isn't it?"
She didn't know of many who would do such a thing, just for the sake of learning. There was another reason deep down, but she honestly didn't feel like trying to figure it out. Though she had a idea.
"All just for leaning, and to follow a path very few tread."

He gave her a reassuring nod.
"Those who climb the highest mountain reaps the greatest rewards. It is a large risk on my part, but one I am happy to do. I believe my life will fair better if I follow this road. I could take the easy route and keep my abilities. My trials will be easier. But that will make me a coward."
He gave Ellie a bow.
"If you will excuse me, I shall go seek out your father for his recognition."

Arretsu
Terra would watch as her daughter left, then with a mental shrug, turned her attention back to the fox girl. As the girl sat beside her, Terra smiled excitedly, "So you know how all this works, and I would imagine that some of the people you faced last year would be returning. That is good no?"
Feeling suddenly a familiar energy, Terra momentarily glanced towards the hotel entrance, mischievousness suddenly gleaming in her eyes.Robyn shrugged as her drink came, grabbing it and taking a swig. "I can hope for some, and pray that others don'." She chuckled, an ear flicking to the side. "I doubt the ones I'd want to be here will be; I'd probably have heard from them before now."
