Rogan flicked his ears at his sister's scolding and turned his wide round, puppy-dog eyes up at Dea, his tail wagging at the petting. "But... that was disgusting..." He said softly, making a little grunt of distaste at the remembrance of his niece's and nephew's birth.
It was another moment before he looked up at the stranger and studied him. Was this the male that had just bonded with his Beloved? He eyed the male speculatively, but stayed in his position with his head in Dea's lap.

Eri had felt the pain but had assumed it to be part of the bond itself. It hurt but it was worth it to feel the love of his bonded. Watching Dea and Serenity he was glad that there were others bonded to Dea as well. He was a bit nervous meeting the others but a part of him looked forward to it. Then came a surprise, a blue male came rushing up to Dea and dropped to Dea’s lap to sigh and droop. He blinked and leaned forward gently nudging the male. “Are you well?” He looked at Serenity with some shock. He was relieved to see she didn’t really look to mad. He gave a small sigh and looked back to the new stranger.

Dea smiled softly at that, knowing Rogan and probably seen more of the birth process than he bargained for.
"Hate to break it to you, Rogan dear, but that is kind of the way birthing happens. The babies have to come out and it can be a little bit messy,"Dea reminded, running a hand through his mane.
"No worries, Eri, he is fine, he is just hamming it up a little. This is my brother, Rogan, and another one of those bonded to Dea. Don't let him fool you, he can be a little weird, but he is a real kind soul,"Serenity spoke.

Rogan stood up and looked at his sister, a note of disdain staining his face as he flipped his mane, careful not to let his precious feathers drop out. "I disagree with you sister! I am aghast that you would call me weird, for we are of the same womb, and what I am, you are as well," He nodded and gave a snort of satisfaction before cuddling back up to Dea in a more comfortable manner. "And this is how I shall help. By keeping this Dear One warm with my body heat. Oh and thank you kind stranger for your concern but I am quite well." He nodded and placed his head back in Dea's lap.

Eri sighed thinking of his children when they were young. It sounded just like Rogan and Serenity. He gave the male a wary smile. “A stranger now but not for long. My name is Eri and it seems I’ll be around for quite some time. I have no intention of leaving my bonded.” He smiled at Dea like she was the sun. He felt more pain and hoped that Al would come soon. He didn’t know how long it would take for the child to arrive but he was worried. If something went wrong they had to find a way to get Dea to human healers. Were was Ni and the others she was going to fetch? He took a deep breath to steady himself.

Dea gripped tightly to the Azrein around her, trying to gain some strength from their presence, feeling like the herbs were not helping as much as she would like. She sent a message to Varteres to see if he could get Al to hurry up at all.
"Let's hope Varteres can be successful at getting Al to get here. I refuse to give birth until he is beside me, so let us hope he hurries,"Dea spoke.
"He'll be here, Dea, I am sure of it and he will get to see the little one born. Just hang in there, we are here for you,"Serenity soothed, wiping the sweat from Dea's brow with her snout.

"MY WIFE IS WHAT?" Al yelled at poor Varteres as he promptly hopped on his Kessling. He had been out picking flowers like a good husband and he brought his giant armful with him as they raced home. He leaped down and left the flowers draped over his vampire steed before squeezing between the assembled azrein. "I am here my sweet, sorry I took so long. I was picking a bouquet for you, its still on Kess since this is definately more important. How are you feeling?"

Dea's heart leaped in her chest when she heard her husband's voice, glad he could make it. When she heard what he was doing, she smiled, glad she had such a wonderful, loving husband.
"The pain is coming and going in spurts, dear, so I am not sure how long before our little ones arrive. I used some of my calming herbs, which helped a bit, but I think labor pains may be a little stronger. I want to go home, but I am not sure we would be able to make it,"Dea admitted quietly, taking his hand.

"Oh we will make it my heart, they are not that close together yet." He scooped her up and placed her bum on her own flowers on Kess's back, then he swung up. "Home Kess luv, as smooth and fast as you can."
Now when a vampire wants to move it can be VERY fast. Al held her fast as they ghosted home, the rest of the azrein could catch up. Soon enough they were outside the house. He scooped up wife, unborn children and flowers all at once and whisked her inside.

Dea giggled lightly as she was cradled into her husband's arms for a moment as he hoisted her on Kessling's back. She looked to Serenity, the other assuring they would be right behind, knowing they were needed. Dea held tightly to Kess as her husband climbed up behind her and she snuggled into his arms as they raced home.
Serenity was thankful her female Azrein best friend had her human female best friend. Once they had started off, she turned to the two guys with her, knowing they needed to leave too.
"Come on, you two, let's follow as quickly as we can. Dea is going to be in a lot of pain soon and will need us. So let us hurry, unless you like sitting this one out,"Serenity challenged, before taking off.
Dea allowed her husband to lift her off and walk into their house with her.
"You know it is a good thing Azzy didn't need me at the palace today,"Dea said, trying to fight down the pain. She was waiting for her husband to ask why she was even out and how she could think of work at a time like this.

"Azzy can stuff it, your more important. You are mine. And if he were here he would have to fetch the warm water and cloth." Al laughed. There was only one thing scarier then a husband whos wife was in labour and that was the wife herself.
"You my sweet are somewhat lucky your arn't giving birth under a tree, you goof. Why were you out? You had to know you were close..right?"

Dea gave her husband a disapproving look at what he said about Azzy, thinking that was disrespectful. And she tried to picture the king running around the house, getting things for them. She let a laugh escape her lips, which was very melodic. She let a yelp of pain escape her lips, then decided to address his question.
"I figured I could give birth any day now, but I figured I would be alright for a week or so. I had gone out to help Eri find his son, knowing I would be best to help him. Yes, I suppose I could have sent the information through Serenity...but you know me, I can't help myself,"Dea spoke with a small pout.

Al gave her a flat look. "Zoy is missing?" He shook his head, "you could have told Kess too you know. Although I'm glad i didn't go looking, might not have got to you in time."

Dea reached out and gently touched her husband's cheek, reaching over to kiss his lips.
"No, dear, no one is missing at all. Eri has never been into town before and he wanted to see his son. I knew who his son was staying with, so I decided to escort him through the town,"Dea explained as calmly as she could.

Eri shifted to allow the human male through not surprised that he recognized him from the small flash he had gotten before. This was his bonded’s mate Al. He was surprised to see how Al was reacting though. It was understandable since Eri was concerned for his bonded as well. The other Azerin that Al came in on made a part of Eri tense and feel cautious. Perhaps it was merely all the new strangers that were in his life? It seemed like that was the case. As his bonded was scooped up Eri was shocked at how fast the pair speed away. He stayed in a state of shock until Serenity’s words reached him. Nodding he started to run as fast as he could toward the home. He felt pain through his bond with Dea and gasped staggering once before he caught himself. The herbs might have helped her but they didn’t seem as effective as Eri would have liked. He kept moving toward his bonded sending love and comfort through their bond. I am coming and I will be there as soon as I can. My bonded hold strong.
