"Yeah, yeah, sure!" Jerry smiled encouragingly before hurrying it up th stairs. This would bu him a little time, but he needed to get over to a certain shop across the way- he had spotted it on his way over, and it occurred to him it was the answer to his dilemma of what to get everyone. Jordan included.
He made his important Music Shop purchases for Otto quickly, then hobbled his way over. It took longer than he had reckoned, but hopefully Jordan would be delayed as well.

Jordan had gotten back before Jerry, but he didn't seem to be annoyed by waiting. "I think that's just about everything," he said when Jerry found him. "Any other stops you need?"

Jerry was laden with bags as he hobbled back to meet Jordan, shuffling to try to hold them all AND keep himself upright on his crutch. "Uh... actually... there's um. One more. There's a liquor store down that way-" He flushed, setting a few bags down for a break for a moment, and before giving Jordan a look, "I owe a few bottles to Rep." He clarified quickly.

"Let me get some of those for you," Jordan said, offering a hand. His eyebrows went up at the answer to his question, but he nodded at the clarification. "I see. I can help you with that."
He was still of two minds about Jerry and alcohol; on one hand, he felt bad being adamant about it and Jerry was an adult, capable of making his own decisions, but on the other, alcoholism was an addiction, and it was very capable of screwing things up badly for Jerry. He'd settled tentatively on not actively enabling his friend's drinking. He couldn't keep watch on him all the time, and neither of them really wanted him to, but he wasn't going to help. This was a reasonable request, though.

He cleared his throat, tightening his scarf, "You know what he likes, probably a good idea," He smiled weakly, shifting, "I er... um. I could go get us some coffees for the road?" Avoid temptation. He was doing good.

"Sounds like a plan," Jordan agreed. He paused a moment. "Thanks for asking me to come with you," he added.

Jerry gave out a slow breath, smiling up at his friend as he let him take the bongo bag. "I'm glad you came. I've... I've needed this, I think. Even just the short trip. Clears my head, ahahaha." He rubbed his nose before picking up his remaining bags, "Meet you at the coffee shop? I'll um. Pay you back for the bottles for Rep?"

"Yeah. We've all been cooped up. Nice to get a chance to just talk a little, too." Jordan shuffled his bags around to balance them out. "Meet you at the coffee shop. Watch your step out there, yeah?"

"Yeah, yeah." He was still smiling as he hurried to hobble in the opposite direction of the liquor store as quickly as possible. "Thank you." He didn't need it. He had Christmas Presents sorted out, a few new posters for his apartment, new clothes, good coffee and a good friend to share it with.
He'd be fine.
