Hey Ty, did you need help developing any Martial Art Techniques? I noticed that it was in the idea dump that a Martial Arts skill becomes availiable after a quest in Level 2, I'm feeling creative ATM, so I thought I could offer you some help xD
lol go for it!
Just follow the template yeah? I think I posted a Skills Template on the second page somewhere. I have ideas too, just been prioritizing getting everything else set up haha

Of course, the first question I ask is: "What is the rule on PK's?" Or is the guild keeping everything to normal players/Clearers until the guild is out of beta phase? It's normal to believe that the said PK would need permission from the roleplayer before harming/killing their character(s), yes? Because, you know, I don't want to wake up to find my characters dead...
PK's can happen, but they have to be initiated. There is death, but rather than a permanent death I think I will just do an experience/word count penalty and then you can respawn.
But of course, we'll be in Beta for a little bit to make sure everything works smooth enough, so hopefully no one feels like PKing right off the bat haha

This part confuses me a little. It's because the starting number for each skill is 1. So does that mean that we get to add 20 more? Or should the total number still be 20 in the end?
"EQUIP LIMIT" is the total weight of all of the equipment your RPC has, right?
_________►TECHNIQUE DATA
Fickle November
This wasn't in the previous template. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of info would fall under this?
Sorry for all of the questions, Ty. Also, I don't really think you need another "Personality" section in the Player Character Section. You can just also indicate how you are like in-game in the first one. I mean, it's not like you're a different person inside the game since you and your RPC both share the same mind anyway. Just my opinion though.

@Kas: I can only respond to the thing on weight: Yes, it is the total weight of all the equipment your RPC has. So the Weapon, and Armor weight.

1. Correct. It has to end with a total of 20. You cannot have 0 for Skills because then it would be unusable.
2. Foxy answered this.
3. Do you mean that part? Or the entire section? "Technique Data" is simply tr title for the section pertaining your Skills. You simply put all your current learned Skills in the appropriate category. i.e. Combat, Non-Combat, etc.
I don't mind a bit Kaska-kun~ I may remove the second personality section. No worries though, I should have my own profile up very soon and then everyone can use that as the model for how to properly fill everything out.
1) STAT TOTAL ▪▫ 20 [0] SKILL MASTERY ▪▫ 20 [0] What goes into the [0] box?
2) In Technique Data, " ○ EXP: 1 | 1000 " under each skills, does the Skill Mastery points divided up back in Statistical Data apply? To clarify: Under Statistical Data, nine points was attributed to Combat Skills. Under Technique Data, should nine points be attributed to both Combat Skills?
3) Does the "Damage: +#" under weapon contribute anything to the Stats?
Side note: 420,000 words to level up all the way to 100. I'm gonna die. o-o (Assuming that I don't participate at all in quests, etc.)

So more questions. ouo
Let's see if I can help here:
1. My guess would be this: Your Base Stat Total starting off in the RP is 20, as you level up, gain exp etc, you obtain skill points that fall into that Base Stat Total. The [0] may represent stat points that are obtained through Weapons / armor / trinkets etc.
So for example: Let's say your Stat Total is 20 [0], and you find a new sword that adds +5 to your characters Agility, your Stat Total would read out as 20 [5].
I'm not exactly sure though, I only recently became Crew, and Ty is still developing ideas as we go along. However, I have strong feeling that it is as I suggested.
2. No. I asked this same question, and this is what Ty said:
"That's one of the things I'm debating. I may just leave it so that your Skill Mastery dictates all Skills of that category considering you have up until 1000 before it can be mastered.
For now, Skill Mastery is proficiency basically. Say you and another have a Familiar Communication Skill at 1, but your Non-Combat is at 10 and there's is only at 5. This means that your Skill is more effective. Also Non-Combat at 10 and Familiar Communication at 1 is more effective than Non-Combat at 1 and Familiar Communication at 10. Does that make sense?" - Ty
3. That I'm unsure of, Ty will have to answer that one.
Thanks! That clarifies a lot. o uo I shall wait for Ty's answer just to be extra sure.
One thing that came up during character-making: Profiles are a bit cramped. ono
I may be just biased for not having been in guilds where everybody's profiles were bunched into one thread, but can I bring up the idea of each individual's profiles get their own thread? Each time I visit my character's profile for revision and refining the details, I need to wait a couple minutes for every image, links, gifs, etc, to load. It's a bit annoying, though it may just be me... If no one else has problem with this, I have nothing to say. : x

I completely second this idea (though my opinion is not necessary). And I'm wondering, how are you going to go about approving them? 0_0' That's a lot to approve of.
I agree with you guys. Though I feel like we may be granted our individual threads after our profiles are approved. I get lost just from scrolling through the coding here. lol

If I had some gold I would create an entire separate thread for profiles. Alas I am a poor man ; A;
When I was discussing things with Tanh I already knew the profiles would look crazy cramped because of the beautiful coding work. So I was already debating that fact, and seeing everything coming to bloom affirms that belief.

So Foxy already answered most of your questions correctly.
The [0] part is the final total after bonuses are applied. For example you have 20 Stat Points and you have 10 points through bonuses (weapons, armors, etc) so it would read 20 [30].
As for the "Damage: +#" it basically means that when you use that Skill, that single attack gains the damage bonus. Does that make sense?
As for approving everything, its not that bad. I tried to keep everyone who got selected into the Beta phase fairly literate. This means that it will make things worlds easier because I can already assume that for the most part everything would be in order.
