The people here are nice. There are just a select few you should stay away from... like Asura, for one.. But I think I like this place better now that you are here... I haven't had a friend like you in awhile.."

 Ace BlaireAce nodded. He couldn't stop smiling. It just seemed like Korian was...well...the sun itself almost. He was so happy and bright, and when he was around, Ace was too. It was a feeling he never wanted to let go of. "Y-you know, I just realized, I-I haven't smoked all day. And I d-don't even feel the need to now. I feel, at ease. Th-though I don't think I'll ever be okay, I don't think I n-need them now. Or at least n-not as much. And I don't think I'd be saying this i-if...If I w-was any where else." He stated. If I was with anyone else. He added in his mind. The moment was perfect and peaceful. Without even realizing it, Ace became the one leaning on Korian's shoulder; smiling at the horizon as the last bit of the sun disappeared behind the water and the dark sky light up with stars and moon light.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Korian's smile brightened as Ace explained he didn't feel the need to smoke anymore. That was great. One less thing that could take Ace away from him. Being a demi-god had so many risks already... He blinked when he felt a weight drop onto his shoulder. Ace... He leaned down and kissed the boy's forehead before wrapping an arm around him and turning to watch the sun disappear.

Ace BlaireAce's head shot up when he felt the other boy's lips on his head. He stared at Korian, wide eyed in shock. If his face wasn't red before, it was now. Did the Apollo child really just do what Ace thought he did? The ex-gang member couldn't even say anything about it, just sit there in shock, until he finally manged to make his voice work. K-K-K-Korian?

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Korian turned back to Ace when he heard the boy stutter out his name. "Yes, Ace? There something wrong?" he asked the dark haired boy softly. Had he done something to make the boy uncomfortable...? Wait... the kiss. "Ah, sorry if I made you uncomfortable... You just... Nevermind.. Sorry.." He realized he still had his arm around the boy and slowly placed it back to his own side.

Ace Blaire"N-no. I-it's fine. I mean. Uh...um..." There was some type of unknown force pushing him closer to the other boy. He felt the urge to give the Korian a kiss back, but resisted with all his might. "I...I-I uh...." The dark haired boy's voice grew soft and nervous. Could he really say that in one day's time alone he'd already found someone he felt for?

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Korian blinked. Ace looked really nervous. He sounded nervous too. Was their something wrong? "You okay, Ace?" he asked. He did the first thing he always did when he was worried about someone. Check to see if they were sick. He leaned closer to the boy and pressed the back of his hand to Ace's forehead. A moment later he pulled back. He wasn't sick... Good.

Ace?Blaire"I-I-I'm fine." he said when Korian asked, but when the blonde leaned closer and felt his forehead his heart didn't just skip a beat, it stopped for at least half a minute. He couldn't breathe for a moment, but took a deep gasp of air. "K-Korian...I....I think I.....I-I...." He wanted to say it, but not to say it at the same time. There had been too many times before that people he thought he could trust had let him done, and he hadn't known Korian very long. What if this guy wasn't what he seemed to be? What if it was an act? He couldn't risk another low blow, but he wanted to be with Kori. He wanted it more than anything at that moment.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Korian stared at Ace. What was on his friend's mind? He moved closer to him and tried to catch what Ace was saying. "You what..? Is their something bothering you? I didn't do anything wrong, did I?" he asked, worriedly. He didn't want to lose his only friend. Lately, Ace had seemed so uncomfortable around him... He couldn't bear to lose Ace... He cared about the boy a lot..

"NO!" He said, a little louder than he really meant to. "N-no, nothing wrong. You didn't do anything. I'm not upset I....I think I might....I...." The dark haired teen's eyes seemed to glaze over, keeping the gaze over the other male's. He was breathing heavily, and unconsciously he ended up leaning in closer and almost kissing Korian before snapping out of it and pulling away. "S-s-sorry I...I don't know what came over me for a minute there..." His nerves were going crazy. His heart beat doubled in pace; he felt schizophrenic with all the thoughts running through his head.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE So he hadn't done anything wrong? He breathed a sigh of relief. But what was Ace trying to say? Korian's eyes widened when he realized that Ace was close to kissing him... then he pulled away and apologized. He reached out and stroked the younger boy's hair lightly. He hoped it would calm the boy down a little. "Just calm down..." he soothed.

Ace BlaireAce took a deep, shaky breathe and let it out. He didn't know what to say, what to do, how to act. He had no idea what nearly happened there. All he knew was he really wanted to be with Korian, but didn't want to take the risks. Now that he almost lost himself it was probably better to just sit and be quiet. If his friend made the first move...well...than he'd give it a shot and take the chance. For now though, he turned back to the horizon and looked up to the sky. It was an amazing sight that went on for eternity, and yet he still could only think of the boy sitting next to him, and how red his own face was.

LostHeroesLeoValdezIsMINE Korian watched Ace turn back to the sky. His face never lost the redness, though. He still seemed preoccupied with something. He glanced away. The blonde liked Ace. He liked him a lot, but he was worried that if he told him... He'd scare him away. He sighed quietly and propped his chin on his knees after drawing them up to his chest, staring out into the sky. "Hey Ace... What would you do if someone said that they liked you... a lot more than just friends...?"

Ace BlaireAce jumped a bit at Korian's question. Was he insinuating something? "Um...w-well...I suppose I...would...give them a chance, but they would have to be able to tell me, since I'm admittedly a but slow when it comes to beating around the bush. I've had a lot of bad experiences with things like that. My mom dis-honed me, my gang turned against me, and heart breaks are a thing I don't even want to begin describing. However, I've always had a problem with being overly trusting, and who knows...maybe..." He paused a moment when he looked back to Korian and saw how amazing he looked. "Maybe...they'd finally be the one who doesn't let me down and...maybe...maybe I like them too..." He held the blonde's gaze once again, and couldn't look away.

Maybe he liked him....Maybe...it was him that Ace was talking about... Maybe he had a chance? "Ace.... I like you... I like you a lot..." he whispered out, staring into the boy's golden eyes. "I really, really like you.."
