She made it into some kind of hedge maze. It was confusing, and she just randomly picked directions to run and courses to take. There was a cookie, and she picked it up with a shrug as it was quite tasty.
There was a cake, and it was horribly disgusting.
Then there was a cup of coffee, which she fell into and got horribly burnt and things exploded on her and she hated this miserable place and wondered if perhaps karma was actually real just before she dissipated.

Eyeing the gnome suspiciously, Heidla tried to calculate the perfect timing strategy. It seemed that today he was far more vigilant than last night. She was almost sure he kept looking in her direction, so she tried to hide her presence. She even checked her breath - just in case he really was over-vigilant today.

Finally Heidla was pretty sure the gnome wasn't looking in her direction. Should she start moving? She wished she knew better. After all, the taste of her favourite drink made her wobbly a bit (we all know your problem, Heidla, but we won't say a word! You just seem to be a bit allergic to your favourite... strawberry juice it was, wasn't it?)
Still, there was no point in wasting time. As soon as the way cleared, Heidla started her journey across the table.

Well, she shouldn't have drunk that bottle. She was too wobbly. Or too delirious.... Or... the gnomes were too vigilant, as one of them picked her up and dropped her in pudding. What a shame! Heidla was all ruined and furious. Especially when she tasted the pudding. Disgusting! Disgusting! When she climbed out of it, she fell into the creamer - and it was even worse. Now her skin burnt like acid. Poor Heidla. THat was definitely not her day. And was drinking her bottle actually worth it? Now she wasn't so sure - after bathing in the creamer twice, due to her clumsiness.
All tattered and worn out and aching she hid into an empty upturned cup.... but helas, it proved no solid shelter against a falling teapot. Run away for you life, Heidla!

Junko sort of knew what to expect as she approached the party, though she had a very hard time climbing the table. Physical activity wasn't exactly Junko's forte. Nevertheless she did her best to scale the table leg, hoping that perhaps the notches and engravings on the leg would be enough help for her to get up to the top. She managed it, getting to the top and panting heavily for breath. Next time? Add an elevator. She was so busy trying to compose herself that she missed most of the Mad Hatter's introduction, only looking up when she heard 'snacks'. Her head snapped up ad widened eyes watched with horror as the gnomes tried to swarm her.
She shrieked, running to hide behind a teacup.

The sounds of merriment reached her ears before the table even came into view. She wasted no time in getting to the top, but a gnome spotted her almost immediately. He swatted at her, but she evaded his hand and darted behind a teapot, out of view and safe for now.

She crawled on her belly now, trying to make her way to somewhere relatively safe. It was hard when there were so many gnomes looking out for her.

Taima cautiously peered out out of her hiding place and was nearly flattened by a determined gnome for her troubles. She barely made it out of the way in time, taking refuge under a cloth napkin that someone had dropped on the table.

Taima could hear the gnome moving around on the table, moving things around in an effort to find her. She held her breath and waited for the gnome to find her--it was inevitable, she wasn't that well hidden--and peeked out from under the napkin when nothing happened. It seemed the gnome had lost interest for now, giving Taima a clear run at the table.

Before rushing headlong into danger, Taima decided it would be best to get a better lay of the land first. She climbed up an oddly misshapen cup, hoping to get a better vantage point. It wobbled beneath her as she reached the top; she overbalanced so it wouldn't fall over, and wound up falling in instead. She barely stifled a yelp as the liquid inside burned at her skin, scrabbling wildly for the edge of the cup and yanking herself out as soon as she could. That had hurt, dammit--and now she was ready to inflict some hurt of her own.
Or at least some serious annoyance. She launched herself off the lip of the cup, darting around the gnomes, the Hatter, and the other assorted guests. She laughed at the uproar she was causing, avoiding flailing hands and thrown objects. When a muffin came too close for comfort, she decided she had had enough--for now--and landed in a plate of cookies. One of them broke beneath her feet, crumbling messily. It smelled horrible, and the last thing she was aware of before she passed out was everything getting smaller as she grew back to normal size.

This was why Junko hadn't wanted to do this course. Not only because of this but this just made it worse from the very beginning. She finally got up and made a break for it, running straight into the maze of obstacles.
