Snowball, being fully trained, did as she was told and laid down on her blankets. She looked at Alina wondering what she would do. She was panting some being nervous about what she would do and because of the heat from the fire.

Alina moved over to Snowball, placing her hand over Snowball's wound. She closed her eyes and concentrated all of her power into her hand, which began to glow a faint blue color. A faint cooling sensation began to come from her hand. "There now isn't that starting to feel better, Snowball?" she asked keeping her hand over the wound.

Snowball then wagged her tail and licked Alina's cheek before she looked at Isabella who wanted Snowball to cuddle with her. Snowball nuzzled Isabella gently and let the small baby cuddle up to her. Then she wrapped her tail around the infant and Isabella giggled as she hugged Snowball's warm tail.

Alina smiled and looked over at Sesshoumaru who was bringing Snowball a bowl of water. He placed it in front of Snowball then sat down next to Alina, linking his arm around her waist and pulling her into his lap. Jakken just looked at the scene a slight scowl on his face. Rin just looked and smiled. Angel got up and went for a walk outside, her pups staying behind and watching Isabella and Snowball cuddle.

Snowball drank some of the water and let Isabella stay close to her. Then she saw Alina and Sesshomaru before she wagged her tail and wrapped her tail around Isabella who was falling asleep. SHe licked her hair and was glad that Isabella thought she was her's. Snowball then curled around her and sensed something outside watching. She then twitched her ears hearing a high pitched sound curling around Isabella and started to growl protectively but stayed in a laying down position as she looked at a man who looked like Naraku, but was just another puppet. Snowball bared her fangs and barked at him as she got up weakly.

Alina and Sesshoumaru looked out the window, a chill going down Alina's spine. Alina got up and grabbed her sword. "Stay here snowball." she said walking out the door, followed by Sesshoumaru.

Snowball stood gaurd over Isabella and the others inside the house. She wouldn't stop growling as she heard the fighting going on which scared Isabella. Snowball licked her cheek and nuzzled her trying to calm her down.

Alina drew her sword and stared at Naraku. "What is it that you want, Naraku?!?!?" she demanded. Sesshoumaru stared at Naraku, his eyes turning blood red.

The Naraku puppet smirked and said "I want the sacred Jewel shard in this village. I would have had it by now had it not been for that wolf. Now hand it over." Snowball could hear them and growled as she set Isabella in Rin's arms and went over to the door growling as her fur began to spark.

"Well you'll have to get through me to get to it!!!" Alina shouted her wings unfurling from her back. By now Sesshoumaru had turned into his true dog demon form. "Snowball stay away." Alina said sternly. 'We don't need you getting hurt again.' she thought to herself, turning her attention back to Naraku, before charging at him, her sword turning a dark red color. Angel saw the commotion and quickly slipped back into the house to comfort her pups. Rin took Isabella and Jakken and brought them into a room farther back in the hut, so she could comfort Isabella.

Naraku then smirked but dodged a Flamethrower from Snowball but was hit by Alina. He glared at her and disappeared for now. Snowball then winced a little bit still weak from her ordeal. But she didn't fall over. SHe just stumbled back into the hut and collapsed in front of the fireplace.

Alina put her sword away, and looked at Sesshoumaru who had returned to normal. They both went into the hut, Sesshoumaru going to the back to check on Rin and Isabella, Alina checking on Snowball. "Everything ok in here?" he asked peeking his head through the door. "Yea, we're fine, Isabella's a little shaken up though." Rin said cradling the baby in her arms. "You ok, Snowball?" Alina asked, gently petting Snowball's fur.

Snowball then looked up at Alina and stood up before she licked Alina's cheek and wagged her tail somewhat before she laid her head on Alina's leg.

Alina pet Snowball's head, gently scratching her behind the ears. Sesshoumaru came back into the room, holding Isabella and sat on the couch. Rin and Jakken soon followed after.

Snowball wagged her tail before she went over to Sesshomaru and jumped onto the couch before she made sure Isabella was okay. She licked her cheek making her giggle. She considered Isabella her pup now. She didn't want anything to happen to her pup.
