Lazarus responds with a quiet "Hmm" and climbs to the top floor with Finis following him, his brown wings easily visible from the back. "They say angels are servants of Aerona, so does that make you one as well?" He chuckles a bit and shakes his head, which reveals that he was being a bit sarcastic. "Just kidding. Us harpies don't really believe in the goddesses, and even in all my travels, I haven't seen much evidence for them. But I digress." Leading Finis past a few taken bedrooms, he ends up at the end of the hallway and opens the last door on the left with a key which he then hands to Finis. "This'll be your room. And we DO have a skeleton key, so don't be up to any funny business in there." Laz winks jokingly at him and leans on the wall opposite the door. "Any other questions?"

Finis followed Lazarus to the empty room, looking in. "It feels hot... is there a way of cooling the room down?" It seemed odd how Finis was saying it was too hot, yet it only felt a little warm. "Also, I also have a friend who I need to guard... Is there any where for her to sleep?"

Lazarus scratches the back of his head awkwardly and looks towards the only window in the relatively small room. "Other than opening the window or getting some kind of magic to do the job? Not really, no." Lazarus is intrigued by the "friend" he mentioned, but decides to ignore it for now. "Well, she could either share the room with you or take one of the other rooms," he responds. "We have plenty of spares at the moment."

Finis thought about it a little. "Maybe I share my room, so we have the share rooms for others. We would we do if we ran out? May I bring her in now?"

Marrice felt a little awkward at the door with two nekos and an unknown being beside her, but Aza was curious about the whole thing, and the sisters had to join in order to have a place to live.
As for herself, she had technically already proven she could hold her own, and gotten approval, so she followed and was followed to the building where Mathias vanished into.
The human stood there awkwardly, she wanted to ask the guy some more stuff, and she was liking his company more.
Though she was not sure what to do when outside with the annoying young neko making a racket.
Ranko was wailing at the top of her lungs for Aza to speak.
The mysterious girl kept silent as she stood next to Sai.
Sai had her ears down as she frowned and held her head in pain at her sister's loud volume.

Lazarus, hearing a loud noise, comes back down and sees a much larger crowd than he was used to coming in here. "Uh, what's going on down here?" he asks, not rudely, but confused.

Marrice turned from looking at the loud neko to look at the guy at the door. She gives an apologetic look and sighs. "I was looking for Matthias...and uh...he can explain the nekos.." She looked at Aza who just stood there silently before losing curiosity.
"The human was approved by the guy.
The nekos are in need of a home.
I am simply curious of what is going on, though I have no intention of getting involved yet."Aza muttered before backing up a little, not intimidated, but so she could leave without bumping either neko.
Ranko puffed her cheeks and fluffed her tail out in anger at Aza, her sister holding her steady so the child would not blow.
"Sorry about my sister..."
Sai murmured softly, her eyes looking a bit nervous.

"Mathias, huh?" he replies, happy about possible new recruits but suspicious of the number of people in here. "He'll be out shortly, so you might as well get comfortable," he explains and motions towards one of the many chairs in the room. "And little ones, if you need a home, we'd be happy to provide you one as long as you make yourselves useful and pitch in around here. Would you be okay with keeping things clean or running the shop?"

Marrice nodded and sighed with relief as she went in and sat in a chair, Aza leaving completely. She watched Sai and Ranko nod at the man and Ranko smiled, running inside to a random chair. "Thank you...We've been homeless for a while..." Sai said with a smile at him as she followed her sister. "I'm Sai, and my little sister is Ranko. We'd be glad to help out to have a roof over our heads." Marrice smiled at the nekos as she waited, running her hand along her sword as she sat there.
((OOC: ....when I saw a certain post was made....I uh....went "nyuu!" and sat up in my seat on the couch without realizing what I was doing...>////////////>))

Lazarus notices the other young one leave without warning, and doesn't really understand why; however, he shrugs it off and turns his back to them, making his brownish wings clear to see. He then knocks on the door leading into the basement/storeroom/workshop with his foot. "Hey, Mathias! Get up here and entertain your own guests instead of making me play innkeeper again!" Right on cue, Mathias bursts out of the trapdoor and throws Lazarus off balance, nearly causing the disgruntled harpy to fall right on top of him. He flails a bit and catches himself on the wall, glaring at Mathias once he rights himself. "Were you WAITING for me to do that JUST so you trip me? I could've fallen in the hole and broken my wings!" The slight blush on Laz's cheeks reveal that he wasn't really mad about the prank, but the humiliation in front of the three new girls.
Mathias just smirks and climbs out of the trapdoor, closing it behind him. "Actually no, but it worked out pretty well don't ya think?" He approaches the sitting Marrice and smiles at her, proud of his recruit. "Make sure you give her a key too, Laz," he says without breaking eye contact with Marrice. "She's gonna be coming with us tomorrow."
Lazarus smiles a bit now, but is still blushing a bit and pulls out two keys from somewhere beneath his jacket, handing one to Sai and one to Marrice. "Two mercs and two nekos in one day? You've been busy, but I won't complain about extra hands."

Marrice stared, a little shocked when the guy who suddenly had wings almost fell into the pit. Though at the blush on his face and the clear humiliation he was showing, she stifled a laugh that the youngest neko failed to. Once she looked at Mathias, she was a bit nervous that he wasn't taking his eyes off her, and she felt almost ready to squirm under his gaze, but refrained because she had no idea why she felt so.
Sai took her key and flicked her sister in the ear before blushing a little herself. She glanced at the harpy and smiled a little. "S-sorry, she need to learn some manners.." The neko shyly stated as she glanced down at the floor.
Ranko glare at her sister for punishing her for a funny joke of the people she didn't know, and pouted. Though for being fourteen, she was very childish.

Mathias holds eye contact with Marrice a little longer, then finally breaks it off to turn back towards the others. "Are we traveling the cheap way again, Lazzy?"Lazarus nods, still embarassed by the neko that laughed at him and the other's shy response. Why would she be shy about it when I'm the one that almost died? "Yes, we'll be walking, and it looks like it'll take us about two days to get there." He sighs, not looking forward to it and missing the brisk, cool air of his home. "At least that area's good for flying."

Marrice sighed with a bit of relieve that the intensity was over, though payed close attention to what the two were discussing. Knowing it was important.
Sai got up and figeted nervously before Marrice gently pushed the neko forward and unintentionally into her sister.
"Watch out sis! Geeze!" Ranko huffed and side bumped her elder sister, not realizing the harpy was that same direction.
Sai squeaked in surprise as she tripped on her own feet after the bump and fell towards the ground, almost into Lazarus as the wide-eyed neko tried not to fall into him asshe was too polite to think of it being okay for a guy to break a fall once in a whole.
