Lt. Brookman Asmondai Lt. Brookman Flames of War suuuuuuuucks. scream eek How so? surprised It's all personal bias really, but at first it was a game all about tanks, tanks and more tanks, then they changed the rules to more drastically favour infantry over tanks. They're also not the cheapest and their starter set plastics are quite terrible. But as I said, this is all personal bias. I see. surprised Maybe they we´re still ironing out the ginks with the system?Lady Blodwynn Lt. S'cool, until very recently the movie and games industry just relied on the classic image of the early war German uniform: Grey. Something that Warlord also got wrong when one of their painters painted up their late war Germans: Not to mention those beards! talk2hand A lot of the games also seem to go the easy route and just every soldier you come across a grey uniform and maybe, just maybe, a bit of diversity in webbing. Ooh, out of curiosity: How do you guys feel about your part in the second world war? First fighting against the Russians on your own, then joining the Germans in fighting the Russians and finally joining the Russians in fighting the Germans!

Not much really. :/ Naturally we we´re shocked to know about the warcrimes after the war ended, but so was pretty much everyone in the world. :/ We mostly focused on the fight againts Russians from attacking our borders while giving a supportline for the occupying Germans in russia. A dark stain in our history to be sure, which is over-shadowed by Russian´s Tzar´s before our independence in 1916. sweatdrop Germans we´re mostly an additional ally/supply-depo for defending our homeland from Russians, which is referred as Winter War (Talvi-sota) rather then World War 2. <.<" A war within war you might say.

Oh. There have been some replies. Awesome.
@ DarkElf - Yeah there are unit caps and a Platoon FoC but you buy a new HQ and 2 infantry units and it opens you up a whole new Platoon FoC which you can have as many as your games points allows you.
USMC look awesome.
Doing a US commission at the minute. A box of 25 figures be he specifically wants the Saving Private Ryan squad building out of them. I'll get some pictures up when I'm done - Or see the W&P Facebook page, linked below. smile

Belated brainfart reply here, there is another way to get more tanks into your army: You field an armoured platoon, which allows you to field between 3 and 4 armoured vehicles backed by infantry if you so desire. It isn't super official and you might want to give your opponent a heads up about it first, so he stands a better chance against your tanks.
It can be found here: http://www.warlordgames.com/downloads/pdf/BA-armoured-platoons.pdf
Also, Marines are out soon, make Chesty proud you maggots.

Lady Blodwynn My answer should be obvious! blaugh Went with the United States myself, which is about the only formation I can field without having to proxy. Plus, I actually like the army a lot, beats being a bloody Jerry again.
