"Pretty sure we're all a little crazy here," Jordan said, and carefully kept the relief off his face. He'd probably have to tell Rep at some point anyway, but he would much prefer to have that conversation without Jerry being there for Rep to get angry at.
He moved over to lean his shoulder against Rep's, briefly, before following Jerry, more slowly. Should he say anything about the rose? No, he decided, he'd just leave that alone. Jerry seemed happy, for once, and that was something that hadn't happened much lately.

And then Jerry was off again like a minipet on walkies. Rep didn't look as annoyed as usual about the sporadic way the other man swung the subject, just sighed almost imperceptibly.
Jordan received a fleeting smile for the shoulder nudge before, lagging just slightly behind at that same slow pace - he followed them both along the beach.
