Ana smiled and rolled her eyes once more. She looked back at Nikolai and playfully punched him in the shoulder, "Thank you, captain obvious." Ruffling her hair with her hand, she watched for a moment as Nikolai submerged himself underwater. Thinking momentarily, she probably should as well. Plugging her nose, she dipped her head under for a few moments then surfaced. Smoothing her hair back with her hand, she exhaled slow, enjoying the heat as she closed her eyes and leaned her head back. All the while, her mind continued to race. Just thinking of all the different possibilities of what Nikolai was going to make her do. After a little while when he would surface, without opening her eyes she'd say."So what am I doing? You have to have an idea by now."

xxxxxNikolai ran his fingers through his hair, washing his head has best as he could without using the soap he had forgotten in his bag. I'm sure the heat will kill all the germs, anyways, he thought, amused. Coming back to the surface for air, Nikolai kept his face close to the water so the steam would keep it warm. He stepped back to sit on a rock close to the edge and heard Ana's question. "The suspense is killing you, isn't it?" he asked with a wicked grin. "Well, I do have an idea... but I'm not sure you're going to like it... While I did win fair and square, I still don't want to force you to do something you're uncomfortable with..."

Ana smiled, looking down and rubbing the back of her neck with her hand. " Hey, the past 3 weeks you've known me you should have figured out I'm quite curious about everything. So in a sense, yes. 'The suspense is killing me'" She said with a grin. Once Nikolai started to speak upon his idea for what she was going to do, Ana's eyebrows furrowed clearly confused. Shifting in her seat upon a rock underwater she had found she she crossed her arms. "Oh? And might this be?" Ana moved a bit closer to Nikolai, clearly interested in what he had to say and what exactly his idea was. would could be so bad and "uncomfortable" for me? What is he thinking?

xxxxxNikolai shrugged and leaned back, allowing the suspense to build a little more. Glancing over at Ana, he saw that she had moved closer in anticipation for his answer. "Because you lost..." Nikolai started slowly. "I think... I think you should kiss me. I mean, that's what they did way back when. The victor would receive a kiss from a beautiful maiden and all that jazz..." He stopped talking, realizing that he was rambling due to nerves. Did I really just ask the princess of Russia to kiss me?? he asked himself, imagining the rage on her father's face. It's just a kiss... A kiss from the woman I'm secretly in love with... Glancing over at Ana, Nikolai's felt his heart-rate speed up even more as he waited for her reaction.

Ana bit her lip, smiling a bit as she waited. "Oh c'mon just tell me. " The red head ordered, full aware that Nikolai was playing with her, making her all the more on the edge of what was running through his mind. And as he started, she leaned in a bit more, eager to hear. Ana froze in the place she sat, staring at Nikolai dumbfounded. Had he seriously just told her she should kiss him?? Tens of questions started to raise inside in her mind. Does he like the me the same way I do him? Well of course he does, why else would he ask me to kiss him? Unless he's a pervert or something... He can't be! I've known him for a month and hes a genuine sweet-hearted gentlemen. The few silent seconds that wavered through the air between the two felt like hours on end. Ana blinked, leaning in more closely to Nikolai and glancing at his lips. Eyes wandering up to meet his own, within an instant she closed her's and laid her lips on Nikolai's. Instantly she could tell he really wanted her to, and knew he felt the same way. Ana couldn't have been happier at the moment. I'm actually kissing him! The man I love, I really am.. Ana found herself smiling a bit, pulling back after a few seconds and looked down shyly.

xxxxxAs soon as Nikolai's words sank in, Ana stared at him with a dumbfounded expression. s**t... Nikolai thought, disappointed as he turned away slightly before seeing the redhead's face move in closer. Turning back, he saw her glance at his lips and his heart skipped a beat. Is she real- Their eyes met for a brief second before she slowly closed hers and continued to move forward. Nikolai closed his own eyes just as their lips connected. He stayed motionless for a moment, barely able to believe what was happening before he kissed her back. He could tell that she wanted this as much as he did and found himself smiling into the kiss. After a few breathtaking seconds, Ana pulled away and Nikolai opened his eyes to see her look away shyly. "Ana..." he whispered, hesitantly lifting a hand to brush it against her cheek. "I... I think I might love you..."

Ana was more than happy that she had realized Nikolai kissed her back. He really meant it.. He actually did. She had to admit however... The first few moments when she had kissed him he was frozen in place. She was worried he was possibly just joking and she had crossed an awkward and uncomfortable line. Her eyes flashed upwards at the sound of her name leaving the lips of the most marvelous voice. She smiled warmly but smile, raising her hand to lay on top of his that was against her cheek. "Please tell me you do.. I don't know what I'd do if you didn't feel the same way..." The red head admitted, gazing into his eyes before looking down again. There was that might.. And Ana was deathly afraid he was having just a false emotion.
OOC: I'm sorry, the first time was an accident. And then when I read my last post, or whenever I wrote it said 3 weeks, I just used a different term thinking 3 weeks was a month. x.x

xxxxxNikolai watched as Ana placed a hand over his and listened to her speak. There was a pleading in her voice as she asked him to be sure of what he said. 'Feel the same way'? Nikolai asked himself, taking a moment to realize what exactly Ana had said. Did she really just admit to having feelings for him, too? "I... I do..." Nikolai said at last. "I do love you, Ana. These past two weeks have shown me what an incredible woman you are... I only said 'might' because I was afraid you would've thought I was crazy if I didn't..." He chuckled nervously and it was his turn to look away. "You don't think I'm crazy... do you...?" He glanced back up to meet Ana's eyes, hoping she would give the response he desired.

Ana's eyes widened a bit, turning her head upwards to meet Nikolai's eyes. The ends of her red lips curled into a smile, more than glad at his words. She laughed softly, amused when he thought she'd think he was crazy. She removed her hand from on top of his and cupped his face. " I do not think you're crazy Nikolai. Because if you were, that would mean I am too. " And with that, Ana laid her lips against Nikolai's and kissed him more meaningfully. Now aware of the fact that he loved her just as much; so there was no reason to be subtle.

xxxxxNikolai saw the beautiful smile he loved spread across Ana's face as she placed a hand on his cheek. He smiled as well and before he could respond, she moved in to kiss him again, this time with more passion. Nikolai immediately kissed her back, sliding his hand from her cheek to the back of her head. His fingers slid through her soft red hair and he pulled her closer to him. Don't get carried away, Nikolai, he warned himself before loosening his grip. Of course they had just admitted they loved each other, but they still had only known each other for a couple weeks and should probably take things slow.

Ana smiled wildly against Nikolai's lips. This was just too perfect of a moment. Once he abruptly pulled her close into she laid her slender fingers and palm against his chest in the middle above his pecs. Hands sliding up around his neck as they continued for a few more moments until Ana pulled away just a centimeter or two. What will father think? Me being in love with a "commoner". He simply won't have it... he'll make me break up with Nikolai! Aw to hell with him! Ana smiled a bit again, kissing Nikolai softly a few more times on the lips before laying her forehead against his own. Her breathe warm as the steam from the hot springs filled the air around them in a fog.

xxxxxNikolai felt Ana's hand on his bare chest and he struggled to restrain himself. This is the princess of Russia! he told himself. Her father is the czar! If he found out I was making out with her wearing nothing but shorts... Luckily, Ana pulled away and lightly kissed him a few more times before resting her forehead against his. Nikolai opened his eyes and smiled at the princess. "You're crazy," he finally said in response to her comment from before. Smirking, he moved his hand from behind Ana's head and placed it on her shoulder. "But you're beautiful and that more than makes up for it." After kissing her on the forehead, he wrapped his arms around her middle and pulled her onto the rock beside him, this time resting his cheek on top of her head.

Ana laughed at Nikolai's proclamation about her mental state. "Ya well, that just means you are too. Like I said before. " The red head said kissing the top of his nose. "But thank you, you're not too bad on the eyes yourself. " Ana winked at him before he slid his hands around her chest and pulled her closer to him. Once they were sitting side by side on the rock together, Ana snuggled into his chest. "I wish we could stay like this..."

Neither of which sound very pleasant." Smirking, Nikolai submerged himself a little more as a cool breeze swept by. "But if you're just referring to us being together then yeah, I... I don't this to end..." Opening his eyes again, he lifted his head and kissed the top of Ana's. "I'm going to be really cheesy right now... but... I think this is something that needs to be asked..." Nikolai pulled away a little so that he could face the redhead by his side and took a deep breath. "Ana... Will you go out with me...?"

Ana smirked, then sat up a bit in the position she was in to playfully but lightly punch Nikolai in the shoulder. "Oh you know what I meant. " She watched as he submerged himself momentarily to avoid the cold late fall breeze, and instantly sank lower into the water where just her head was sticking out. Once he came back up, she returned her head to the place where it fit perfectly; on his shoulder. Glancing slightly up as he spoke, Ana's eyebrows furrowed when he said he was going to be cheesy. Leaning back a bit to look him in the eyes while he spoke, Ana did nothing but grin once he was finished. She shook her head still smiling, then looked up at him. "Of course I will. " The red head spoke softly in response as she kissed Nikolai lightly on the lips.
