Shandor listened, quietly, as Adalena and Peregrine stepped forward. Two cubs that had come in with the rest of the lot, their names unknown to him at the moment. It mattered little, if they were to stay they would need to identify themselves by not one but two names. Unfortunately, that meant he'd have to learn them both. More work, but pleasant enough. It was interesting to see how each pride member saw themselves, how they decided to label themselves, and how they played off of those names.
As the female cub asserted her choice he smiled. "We can always use a new prince or two. Welcome then. As for the rest-"
He lifted his head. "Those who stay may do so, but know that we will have to educate you in our ways. Those that wish to return or leave with the strangers may do so as well. Perhaps..." he glanced skyward. "Yes, this will do. This night every year, when the moon is full and the air is warm. A summer night with enough light to see by. We meet."
He raised a paw and made a sweeping motion. "Now off. we don't want your pride taking you for dead."

Thalion Yeah I'd say we can close it off here! ^__^ Adalena's expression was puzzled for a few moments, unaware of what 'prince' meant. To her these individuals were male, but evidently it meant something else to this particular group of lions. Electing not to question it, she merely hazarded a small smile and padded towards the Kizingo'zaa lions once again, no longer acutely aware of the tensions that had existed previously. They seemed like a nice bunch, even if their methods of survival seemed a little strange... Then again, nothing was quite as 'strange' as what had happened to her mother.
"Thank you," she murmured gently, then fell silent as Riddle Mouth made reference to a reunion each year. They were going to remind themselves of this? It all seemed a little backwards!
Unlike the small cub, Ram thought nothing of Riddle Mouth's gesture and merely nodded in acceptance. As they had both agreed to the terms, this date would forever be the anniversary of the alliance. One could only hope that in the years to come the occasion would be much more enjoyable than this one - truth be told, Ram wasn't always in the mood to stomp around forests and declare all out war on everyone! Not that it wasn't enjoyable to let off steam sometimes, but there were more constructive ways to do it.
"Agreed," He replied and motioned to 'Kota and the cubs. "I suggest we bring these children home, lest their mothers have my guts for garters and stick my head on a pike," he muttered and shook his head. It might have been a ridiculous image, but having met some of the mothers in the Bahari, he was being completely honest - they had the potential to slaughter him!
