Bruce laughed, if he wanted to insist on bringing up his lack of clothing then so be it, he was going to respond. -Is that part mandatory?- he responded with a laugh throwing his blankets over his head embarrassed, bruce that is how you loose straight friends he reminded himself. setting his phone on the table beside him sure that tony wouldnt respond, he curled under on top of his blanket assured that he had scared his new friend off with his horrid flirting.
Tony looked at the response and chuckled softly but a little sadly as well. He actually hadn't dared let anyone see him naked after the reactor had been put in his chest to keep him alive. He couldn't risk that information getting around. -Maybe we'll start off slow, just play with our socks off and see where it goes from there. ;D- he responded jokingly.

Bruce had almost fallen to sleep when his phone buzzed, he turned over in his bed and looked at it like it was offending him by ringing. muttering something under his breath about, better be Jess or Tony or that phone is getting chucked across the room before he picked it up and checked the message. He smiled at it groggily, Bruce typed a sleepy reply, -illl take what i can get :F - he sent back, eyelids drooping as he typed.
Tony played guitar for another several minutes before his rumbling tummy refused to let him ignore it any longer. He set his guitar back on his stand and got dressed, trying to figure out what he felt like having. Pizza, he finally settled. The highschooler left his room and went down the stairs. "Dad! Hey, Dad!" he tried calling out, but the man was obviously still downstairs. Tony huffed and pulled out his phone. -Sometimes I think my dad would be happier if I starved.- he complained, sending it along to Bruce. He had been amused by the other student's previous answer, wondering to himself if Bruce really meant it, that he /would/ like to see him naked. 'He said he doesn't do relationships,' he reminded himself, rolling his eyes at his own train of thought as he headed down the second flight of stairs to get to the basement. Once there he crept up to the laboratory door and knocked on it gently, not wanting to be too disruptive (he'd caused an explosion once that way before, or at least his dad had blamed him for it happening). He didn't hear anything, so he knocked again a little louder. "What is it, Tony?" his father's irritated voice finally sounded behind the thick door. "Can I get pizza?" the 17-year old asked. "Of course you can; you don't have to always ask," the man responded and Tony felt his shoulders slump. "Yeah, okay," he responded before going to trudge back up the stairs, already dialing his favorite pizza-joint from his cell.

Bruce just frowned at the text, still half asleep. -welcome to the daddy issues club, im bruce banner and it looks like we have more in commen than we thought- he said cuddeling his phone to his chest and trying to avoid thinking about his father right before he passed out. he should probably eat dinner he thought to himself groaning and sitting up, well the tylonal wore off. he thought to himself as he got out of bed and made his way to the kitchen and grabbed a pop tart. a well balanced dinner, he thought to himself as he made his way back to his bed and settled down to eat it. Pop tart and then sleep, he promised himself.
When he got through ordering an extra large half-Hawaiian, half-pepperoni to his address, Tony found he had a text waiting. His lips drew into a tight line. -You too?- he asked as he slumped himself into the leather couch in the living room.

Bruce ate his pop tarts in a few quick bites, venturing back out into the kitchen momentarily to grab more medicine so he could sleep without hurting himself and then setteling himself onto the couch in his bedroom, figuring he would be less likely to just up and fall asleep there. He looked at his phone waiting patiently to buzz, and when it did he smiled, promptly opening the message. -you don’t even want to know.-he penned back, in complete honesty.
Tony had to admit he was curious to know more, but he didn't press it. -Yeah, maybe another time.- he sent. As an afterthought he added -I'm really excited about tomorrow.-

Bruce just kind of stared at the small screen of his cell phone in disbelief, that just was not… Well it was possible but most certainly not probable , and it had never really happend before, someone being excited to spend the day with him without obligation. Jess was his best friend, always had been and she would always have the mandatory need to at least pretend to enjoy spending the day with him, and anyone else was family. And family did not count. Bruce began to grin like a giddy school girl who just found out her crush likes her back, -really.- he asked before realizing that might sound like he wasn’t looking forward to tomorrow, which he was. A hell of a lot, -I mean I am too, but I’m just… Sorry I’m still new at this ‘friend’ thing- he replied flustered
Tony just snickered a long while. He could only imagine the look on Bruce's face while he had typed that second message. The kid was awkward even via text! -Really really.- he assured, still smirking like a hyena, -And I can tell. wink But don't worry about it.-

Bruce just laughed, -is there a friendship for dummies, or better yet socially enept geeks I could read, or should I just go back to kindergarten and try harder this time?- he asked before realizing that laughing hurt, badly and stopping.
Tony laughed as well; the doorbell rang. He typed back quickly. -Not that I know of. Just a sec, pizza's here!- He hurried to the door, salivating.

Bruce groaned exasperatedly, -not fair, I have been wanting pizza for like ever!- he texted back, laying down on the side that was not broken and shutting his eyes, just for a minute he theorized. Only a few seconds until tony texted back.
The 17-year old paid for the pizza with one of his dad's credit cards, leaving the delivery guy a good-sized tip for arriving so fast. Tony shut the door and happily went back to his seat on the couch, putting the thin cardboard box on the coffee table in front of him and opening it up. He was just about to grab a slice when he decided to check his phone first. He made an "Aww." and responded back -Do you mind leftovers?-

bruce’s eyes fluttered open when his phone buzzed, right, he reminded himself, awake. not asleep. -do you mind being attack hugged?- he responded, pinching himself in an effort to stay awake.
The left side of Tony's lip crinkled in amusement. -I'll take that as a yes, you would like me to bring you leftover pizza for breakfast. As for attack-hugs, I could go for one of those.- he sent off, setting the phone off to the side to remove a slice of pizza, the hot cheese forming strands as he pulled it away from the rest. They got the cheese /just right/ at this place, seriously. He took a monster-sized bite.

Bruce grinned, cold pizza for breakfast goodness he was going to be in heaven tomorrow. -where have you been all my life????? PS. you are getting attack hugged… you know, when i wake up- he replied still trying not to fall asleep, -also, if i disappear, im being a disgrace to teenagers everywhere, and i fell asleep- he sent, feeling like he was going to fall asleep any second.
Tony smiled with a full mouth at the 16-year old's obvious enthusiasm over baked bread-and-cheese product. -I'm holding you to it.- he sent; Bruce wasn't getting pizza if Tony didn't get a hug first, he'd decided. -You've had a rough day, I understand, kick it if you need to, 'kay? Don't stay up on my account.- he responded to the second message-- he was perfectly capable of entertaining himself. He wolfed down a large portion of the crust.

Bruce let himself relax a little when he read the message, -ill see you tomorrow?, key is under the mat, my room is straight down the hallway when you walk in, all the way at the end, only door in the middle.- he responded slinking his way over to his bed and curling up into a ball so that he could sleep.
Tony read the message and went ahead and powered his phone off, seeing as he wouldn't be needing it the rest of the night. He sat and munched a couple more slices, but stopped so there would be plenty to share with his new friend tomorrow morning, closing the box and taking it to the fridge. He then went back up to his room, plugged his phone in to charge, and fiddled with some circuitry he'd borrowed from his father's lab-- he was trying to engineer a small remote-like device that would screw with the teachers' overhead projectors as a school prank. Before he knew it, it was two in the morning, and he realized he only had four hours before he had to be up. Tony put his stuff away and asked JARVIS, the home-automation system, to shut off the lights he'd left on downstairs as well as his bedroom. With that, he crashed into bed, not bothering to change out of his day clothes or get under the covers.

Bruce woke up momentaraly when his alarm went off at five am that morning, groaning loudly as he picked it up and threw it harshly against the wall with a satisfying shatter. that was not how he wanted to wake up. he threw a pillow over his head and fell back to sleep.
JARVIS awakened him at six AM, as per his programming, with a cordial. "Good morning, young Master Stark. The temperature outside is sixty-two degrees with a high in the afternoon of eighty-three. You have approximately fifty-eight minutes to get to school." Tony's mouth stretched wide with a yawn, struggling to sit upright as he rubbed an eye socket with his knuckle. "I'm up, I'm up, I'm up..." he mumbled, then he remembered-- he was going over to Bruce's place! Suddenly he was a lot more awake. "Yeah, school, of course," he fibbed to the AI. He took off for the bathroom to start his morning grooming routine of gelling his hair and trimming his goatee.

bruce was woken up one more time, by alex coming in and telling him he was going to be late to school only to be greeted by a flying projectile thrown at her head and a harsh reminder that he had a ******** broken rib and a chance to sleep in on a friday and she should leave before he woke up completly. bruce kicked off the blankets, laying in his boxers, no longer overwhelmed with heat sprawled on his back over the entire bed falling back into a slumber quickly.
A few minutes later he was ready to go. Tony put his phone and keys in his pocket and threw some things into his backpack in case entertainment was sparse, remembering to grab the pizza box on his way out. "Your father wishes you a good day at school today," JARVIS told him. Tony snorted, brown eyes rolling. "Sure, that's why he couldn't say it himself in person," he rebuked snidely, slamming the door connected to the garage. He took the cover off his mustang and hopped in, backing out and zooming off down the road. He used the map on his phone to guide him to Bruce's address, arriving there just a few minutes later and parking on the curb. It wasn't the most lavish abode, he noticed, but he wasn't judging what with the fact his father owned the nicest house in town. He got out and went up to the porch, picking up the mat to discover the key, just as Bruce had said. He slipped it into the lock and let himself in as quietly as possible.

bruce tossed and turned in his sleep, mumbeling a bit before falling into a deep enough sleep, dreaming happily about what his life would have been like, without the accident.
Tony crept through the unfamiliar house, taking the route Bruce had told him down the hall, pizza box in hand. Carefully he pushed open the middle door, peeking in and spying the other student sprawled out on his bed in nothing but his boxers. Tony couldn't help it, he let himself take a good /long/ look... After a couple moments he came the rest of the way in, announcing softly, "Wakey, wakey, Brucey!" as he shut the door behind himself.

bruce groaned “I swear alex i am going to murder you, i dont have to be up till 6:30” he said tossing a pillow in the direction of the door. bruce was not a morning person, at all. he easily went trough 30 alarm clocks a year, and if he didnt want to wake up, well you had to be pretty important to get him up. “just go away, i told you im not getting up till tony gets here” he mumbled into the sheets baraly coherent.
Tony just barely caught the pillow flying at his head considering he was already juggling a pizza and his backpack. His grin was absolutely enormous that Bruce was mumbling about him. "Man, I'm glad I'm not Alex," he laughed, sensing the girl often invoked his wrath in the earlier parts of the day.

Bruce’s eyes snapped open and he sat bolt upright, hair flying in every direction. “oh hi,” he said awkwardly glancing down at himself before pulling his blanket over himself again. “i was kindof intending to be dressed for this part of the morning, but i seem to have broken my alarm again” he said looking up at tony, a look of shame gracing his features.
"My bad, I got here early," Tony smiled, tossing the pizza box into Bruce's now-covered lap. "Special delivery!"
