 After their master's attention fell to Rose, Gracelyn returned to minding herself. Only occasionally glancing over, out of worry. Anything past that would have been... wrong. She was quick with her purchases. Only getting enough to keep her from being nude one moment and dressed the next. And then again she bought several silly little things which made no sense. She'd never had money to spend on herself before. It was... nice. A gift or two quietly bought but hidden away amongst the red and black clothing. Even finding a few pairs of new gloves, just as nice as her own. She ate nothing, but happily sipped at her drink. Eating required the removal of her gloves, she wasn't comfortable with that. She didn't want to pull any attention away from Rose- or distress the sweet girl. It would have been a poor start. She offered her meal to Matt, if he said no it would go to waste unless their master took it. But she wouldn't worry on it too much. She just... wasn't hungry enough. She was happy and a little sad when their day out was called to an end. She was happy to go home. Sad to leave such an interesting place. She did not want to go back onto the dirigible. Not at all. Taking a calming breath, she walked on and was very happy to have the bracelet removed. Rubbing her wrist she made not a sound about the redness to her skin. It wasn't important. She stood close by, but out of arms reach. Her bags by her, but out of the way. Gloved hands laced before her, back straight, gaze forward and shoulders tight. She would be found unwilling to sit and uncoaxable to do so. If asked. No one had last time, she doubted anyone would this. She swallowed, already nervous. Oh she didn't like the traveling part, but she liked the destinations. Her steady breathing would be all heard from her.

Matt shrugged at the food Grace offered him and made the plate vanish he started to create a light show with his new crystal ball. He stared at the girl he was jealous of the new toy the master had. None of his masters ever paid him any romantic attention..or any good for that matter. He tried to ignore the new toy.

 Most everyone was seated, except Gracelyn, but Marius didn't think anything of it. She had stood last time, for the two short hour of travel. Marius only assumed that she got "airsick," like seasick, but the dirigible was an air craft. So he shut his eyes and took a cat nap back home. He quite liked his air craft as it gently rocked him to sleep. Tonight is going to be an interesting night, Marius thought to himself. His attention that evening would most likely be on Matt, as he had just gotten himself a new magical instrument, and would be wondering if it had any effect on how he would perform. Maybe Marius would take a venture up to Matt's room prior to the show and see what he has in mind...rather, what Marius had in mind for the tantalizing magician.

Matt drew the blinds and lied on his bed playing with his crystal ball. He wondered if another performance would be tonight. He decided to try a effect he hoped would be truly magnificent. Storm clouds began to gather at the center of the room summoning bolts of lightning that were just for show.

Marius quite enjoyed the small light show that Matt had produced with his new purchase. He even moved his seat next to him to get a better view of the magician at work. Nonchalantly, Marius threaded his paw-hand through Matt's thick fur, caressing it softly. It was definately a change of pace for Marius, having another half-breed and all. The healthy fur coat glimmered like waves as Marius pet his slave. The sheer shine of the mane even held Marius' attention all the way home, not caring about anything else.
When they arrived back at la Casa, Marius gently nudged Rose awake and left Gracelyn to her keeping, making sure she got inside.
"You may also show her around the house. It's late afternoon, the weather warm, and I feel like going to swim. You may all join me if you wish, or take refuge in your quarters. Rose, you are free to choose your own room, or bunk with Gracelyn or Matt if they allow. Grace, if you could please explain to Rose how our nightly performances work, I'd be very grateful. And in case you feel like turning back, the pilot won't leave until you're all inside."
Marius turned from his housemates and walked around the back of the house to the pool area. He stripped of all his clothes and laid them gently on a lounge chair on the porch. He eased his body into the brisk water, and found comfort in the cool rush against his fur and skin. He went under a few times, completely soaking his body. He slicked back his hair and leaned over the back edge of the pool, watching as his dirigible soared over the desert horizon.

 Rose Byrne Rose whimpered softly when she was nudged awake. She had bruises all over that were hidden underneath her dress. Slowly, she sat up and stretched. She then got up and found her way inside, following Gracelyn. If she had spoken, Rose hadn't heard it. As they were walking around, she saw a room with purple inside.
Rose walked into the room and looked around. She walked in and looked around at the room. There was a full-sized bed, a closet, sitting nook, and a fireplace. The room was painted a gentle mauve with white upholsteries and a nice natural oak. "Who has this room?"

She had given the slightest of curtsies. Gracelyn was so very, very happy to be done traveling. She did not mind in the slightest when she was told to show Rose about, to tell her about their...performances. Gracelyn was already very fond of the raven haired girl. She said not a word as they left the ship, she left her newly bought items by her own door. She would then lead Rose about to show her the rooms. When Rose went into the Mauve room Gracelyn smiled. Seems the ladies of the house would take the larger rooms... she wondered what their masters looked like. His door had been locked after all. She laced her gloved hands together and shook her head slightly, " If you wish it to be yours, I am very certain it can be."

((OOC: matt isn't in the mauve room. he's in the Umber room. check page one unless you're referring to ICE backtracking you quite a bit as we hadn't left the ship yet and you had done your show on the airship as opposed to in your room

Rose Byrne Rose smiled and lay her new dress on the bed. "This room is lovely..." she said softly before she lay on the bed to see how soft it was. She sunk down deep, the blankets and mattress soft and comfortable. It was perfect for her. After having a hard cage floor all her life, this was perfection.
Rose lay on the bed for a moment before she struggled into a sitting position. "This is perfect, absolute perfection. So, what did the master ask you to tell me about?" she asked, looking at Gracelyn curiously.

Gracelyn watched the girl for a moment. Rose seemed so happy to be on the bed. It made her wonder just how long the sweet faced girl had been in that cage. Gracelyn hummed softly, looking around the room. It was nice like her own, no portraits however. She wondered if Rose would decorate it. At the question she cleared her throat, she was still a bit weary from the trip. Gracelyn would smile, her tone gentle, " Every night our master asks us to perform for his guests. They arrive around eleven at night, we perform using our talents. Matt using his magic and I sing. We make Master Marius money through the satisfaction of the guests."

Rose Byrne Rose tilted her head to the side at the mention of talents. "Do I have any talents? I don't think so... All I have done in my life is sit in a cage and hope someone would buy me... Perhaps she can help me find my talent..."
Rose stood and went to Gracelyn, gently taking her hands in her own. "I do not think I have any talents, for all I have done is sit curled up in some little dirty cage... Would you please help me discover if I have any? I want to please our master and not be a burden...."OoC: I think I will be going to bed soon due to having gotten sick today, which is why I have been on and off line today. I do not know if I will be going to school tomorrow though, so we will see I suppose. Anyway, if I go to bed before replying, I will reply tomorrow.

Gracelyn knelt down to the girls height, her red dress pooling around them silently. Goodness Rose was so small compared to the tall woman. It made Gracelyn worry on her performing at all. Stuck in that cage for so long, Rose seemed to be missing so much from herself. The cage. She bit her lip, but it pressed back to a smile. She would have to talk to their master. Gracelyn was certain the girl had a talent of some kind. Even if it was something as small as whistling or spinning a plate. Gently she squeezed Rose's hands, " I would be happy to. We have plenty of time today to find something. Why don't you have a bath and change first and then we can think on it?"
