[enter] Ferros ducked under the doorframe and stopped, taking in the current scene. Lunch appeared to be more airborne than he generally liked it. Could he make his way across to the serving line and acquire food for his human without being targeted? Not likely; being tall and bulky meant that he was a very big target. Still, he would make a try at it. He flattened his headfins back and started picking his way delicately through the messy conflict. Jordan paused outside the cafeteria and raised an eyebrow at Jerry, who was lurking in the hallway and looking rattled. "You okay, dude?"

Tracey had his wings wrapped around himself protectively under a table. He had far too much hair and feathers to risk getting something awful like sauce in it. He was at a conflict, on one hand he wanted to meet and be friends with all of the weapons running around, on the other stains.
In the end the fear of messiness won out and he stayed hunkered down to the floor, trying to look inconspicuous.

Holding a tray as a shield, Saliva went walking through down towards the door, pausing when she noticed some feathers poking from under the table. Tracey was a bit too bright to be hiding without notice, and the ghoul ducked down to stare at him. "Hey feathers. You might want to hide someplace else if you're scared about a bit of mash potato. At least this food doesn't bite."

Tracey peeked out from under his hair and reluctantly nodded. "I.. I know I should really." he stammered. But to be honest, he didn't want to waste the time he had outside Rep's head avoiding people because he was scared. "I was just hoping it would die down a little."
Manners were important though. "Hello Ma'am by the way. I'm Traciel!"

[ ENTER ] Rin was headed towards the cafeteria; keen to shove Byr in and let him socialize with the other creepy crawlies while she got some grub. Much to her surprise however a hunk of food flew past her head, just barely missing her hair.
"The Jack is going on?" Byr wondered out loud as he poked his head in too, he wasn't as lucky and a stray bit of something exploded into a million pieces on his antler and lightly spraying Rin with the results. The woman backed off with a sputter and back into the hallway to try and get clean but the jackalope remained; scanning for the perpetrator.

Saliva reached up to poke her finger into a mound of apple sauce and licking her finger again as she listened to the boil shiver under the table. "Not with these boils. You don't want to spend all your time free hiding under a table. You did enough of that as a tablet, I'm sure." Reaching up, she grabbed a tray and handed it to him.
"Names Saliva. Howabout you take a shield and jump out?" She said, and then stood up before she noticed a lot more boils under a table.
Frowning, she stepped up on a seat before standing on a table. "OH come on you boils! Are you all being little larva, hiding under tables all day?" They were all shivering over some damn food! Not even good food to be honest.
If they didn't get out from under there, she was going to throw food under there. "A bunch of ghouls in here." Her eyes scanned around for a REAL boil, but she wasn't spotting much. Her tiny boots hit the top of the table Traciel was under to encourage him to get out.

Tracey was grateful for any kind of defence against the thrown food and took the offered tray with a grateful nod, carefully folding his wings against his back, with all of them neatly folded against his shoulder blades finally daring to get up and sneak out from under the sanctuary of the table.
He gave the worm-lady a wide eyed look as she climbed up onto the table and proceeded to yell at half the room.
He took a few very decisive sidesteps away from her. She'd probably just made herself a target. He didn't bother correcting her that technically he had an excuse for being a bit of a ghoul, instead just stayed on edge, ready to wield his defensive tray.
"You might not want to stand on tables in a foodfight."

Ferros had acquired a sandwich and made his way partway back across the cafeteria without any food being thrown directly at him. There had been several near misses with cubes of jello, but they had been misses, and therefore did not count. His attention was caught by a plump ghoul who had just climbed onto a table and yelled a challenge, and then to the fallen angel who had just emerged from under that table. He didn't quite know why, but on impulse, he changed his course, rumbling a polite, "Excuse me," to the ghoul on the table as he scooped Tracey up with one arm and moved back towards the exit.

He probably should have been annoyed, or at least objected to the intervention - jack, he probably should have been terrified, given the height and intimidating appearance of the boil who'd just swept him up.
But he wasn't any of those things, and laid his head against strangely familiar ridged metal, for just a moment overcome by mingled joy and sadness it threatened to make him cry. "Always rescuing me." he murmured.
It took a few moments for the absurdity of the disconnected feelings to register, for him to realise he had no idea who had just picked him up or why. Instincts were washed away by logic as he looked up wide eyed at the boil, in his fear his tone perhaps more accusing than he meant it.
"Who are you?"

Byr was still in the doorway and watched the odd couple attempt to escape the chaos his way. Once they were in range he grinned and greeted them, "Hellooo boils~" the tone he used may have felt a bit too friendly.

Ferros blinked down at the boil he'd picked up, finding himself suddenly confused as to why, exactly, he'd done that, even more so at the feeling of warm affection that had washed through him at the half-heard words that the other had first said. "Ferros," he answered, unfazed by the accusing tone. "Who are you? You did want to be rescued?" He blinked thoughtfully at the jackalope addressing him. "Hello," he answered gravely.

"Traciel." he offered gently. "And I did. I just wasn't expecting to be."
He blinked at the jackalope and tilted his head slightly. "And erm hello to you too? I'm Traciel." He was just all about introducing himself to everyone today.

Byr suddenly moved out of the way to hold the door open for the two, "Traciel! Ahh you are a lovely weapon - an even lovelier..." he idly eyed him and Ferros up and down, "You both are... OH! I am Byr by the way~"

Saliva rolled her eyes and pointed at herself. "Death worm. Do you THINK I care about a little mess? I look beautiful in anything. Food or clothes." She really could care less about being messy, and welcomed it despite her lavish clothes and head ornaments.
When Traciel was picked up by another boil, she waved. "By sweetheart. You make sure you use a runic on that." Of course she thought they were up to things in the way he was rescued, and resumed looking around.

"Tracey," Ferros said thoughtfully, and for just a moment, his full attention was turned on the fallen angel he held gently, red eyes brightening. "You belong to one of my human's mates."
He ducked under the doorframe again, nodding to Byr. "I am Ferros. Thank you."
