Harrison was unimpressed with the comment about understanding computers.

They were not, he felt, hard. Just stupidly complicated. With a million wires and buttons and commands. He felt not understanding computers was probably to Tracey's credit.

"You got my number if you need anything." Not like B0nez would wander far once he was planted in a computer chair. Giving B0nez his own set of legs was a misuse of company resources.

"You heard him. As long as we don't mess with the webwork, he probably won't mind if we upgear a few things," B0nez said, trotting beside Rep with a very wide grin.

Harrison, like Tracey, watched them go with some amount of apprehension.

"Got a long memory," Harrison admitted, "Specially when it comes to favors and disservices. ...And I owe you a hell of a lot." Not only for Rep's life, but his own. It was past the point of checks and balances, or repaying and being square.

"Seems like we should be able to," Harrison said, going to hold the door open for him, "a walk sounds good to me."

It had been a long time since Jason had anything that resembled 'money'. And being offered a large sum of cash for testing his weapon sounded relatively safe. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, as he found out when a bracelet was snapped onto his wrist, a lot of things.

Walking into the next room had the moon hunter gob smacked at what he saw. A pod, and inside the pod....

He leaned over to get a better look. It was just like the vision he had during the 4 clans invasion; a tall young man clothed all in black, a set of small horns growing out of his head, and raven colored wings which were currently folded over his body. His eyes, which were closed, he knew to be a blood red color.

...He wasn't sure if he really wanted to open the pod. He really didn't want to know what the fallen angel would be capable of if he had his own body.

But he had no choice, having already accepted the bracelet, he took a step back and flipped the switch to 'online. The pod opened, slowly, and he waited until he saw a clawed hand grasp the edge, before his 'partner', lifted himself out of the pod.

Jason was speechless, watching warily as his weapon checked over his new body with a look of bewildered that he actually had one now.

"..Zanthvos?" he said, worried for how he would react.

The demon paused for a moment, slowly looking towards to his 'partner' with a smirk. "Why hello there Jason, it's nice to see you looking so well."

He relaxed, it looked like he wasn't going to do anything weird. Thank god. "Y-yeah. It's good to be able to talk to you norm-"

And then he was hugged. Tightly.

"W-what are you doing?!" Jason stuttered as he struggled to get out of his grasp.

"Just giving you a good old fashioned hug!" He said, squeezing tighter and patting the moon hunter on the head. "it's been ages since I've been able to move around you know. It feel so good to have a body again! By the way, you're rather cuddly, don't you know?" He grinned evilly.

"J-just let me gooo" He whined. "I'm around other hunters! This is embarrassing!"

"Aww, is the widdle moon hunter all embarrassed?" He ruffled up said hunters hair.

Jason wanted to go back to bed now. kthxbai

Easy money was easy money and, seeing as Ofelia had seen a few things last time she was out that she didn't have enough to afford, five hundred dollars seemed like a wonderful thing for something as small as letting Rue be tested on. Or something like that since well, Ofelia wasn't really sure of what was going on nor did she really try to think it over much. Her general idea of what might be happening came in the form of seeing others with people following behind, their relationships spread out to the point where she understood that the Halloween-like people were actually their weapons.

Part of her felt like this could be a bad idea only getting worse but another part of her quickly snapped at that bit to shut the hell up and go. The snapping part happened to be Rue, shrieking loudly with excitement over the chance to be back inside a body again, even if it wasn't exactly the one she called her own. How long had it been since she'd had flesh...of sorts? Long enough, Rue screeched into Ofelia's ear, and for that reason they went to the labs and joined the line.

A couple of people she knew were ahead of her and left with their partners, all the while the feeling of dread still slowly creeping into her gut. It was like she knew this would be a bad idea even if it meant getting that really nice set of frying pans and rice cooker and maybe a good knife. The pros could outweigh the con if she tried hard enough but the idea of having Rue - RUE - in a body that could interact with her was not something she was -

- and the the bracelet was on her wrist and she was in front of a golem tank. A labtech motioned for her to turn it on, like all the others had, and for the time being Ofelia hesitated. Rue was not pleased in the slightest by the pause, a seething series of hisses and screeches and curses running through her skull a million miles an hour. The only relief, the voice commanded, was for Ofelia to tun on the bracelet like she was told and to give Rue a body like she demanded. It was simple as that, only Ofelia was causing the problem here, and the teen frowned and closed her eyes before she pressed the on button.

The screams went silent in her head.

Moving to the next area she came upon a pod, one with a figure inside that her heart and body knew long before her brain even registered. She didn't have to open the pod, she could leave Rue offline and get away with it, but her hand was already moving to release before she could stop herself. A thin hiss of compressed air sent a shiver up the teen's spine as she took a step back, waiting for the person inside to step out.

"Well?" The figure spoke before doing anything else, and as soon as Ofelia heard the sound outside of her head balked, taking a step both backward and forward all at once (which left her in the same spot). "Retarded hick, look at me." It was only when the voice spoke again did Ofelia figure she'd been looking at the ground, at a set of bare feet the color of coffee mixed with cream.

The feet lead to shapely legs, long in the calf and lean in the thigh, which attached themselves to large hips. A thick torso with a hefty bust greeted her eye next, and above that was a face that all at once seemed innocent and terrifying. Long curly waves of blackish-auburn hair clung around Rue's face and neck, cascading a bit down her shoulders. They were bare, save for what looked like a mixture of colonial and pirate wear, best suited for a woman who either worked the fields or worked the bars. Either way all Ofelia could think was the clothing suited her partner, and Rue seemed to approve of it all as well.

"Not exactly the color I remember having last, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers." Her voice purred as she spoke, sending more shivers up and down Ofelia's spine. It was one thing to have the voice in her head, an entirely different thing to see it in person. "Your speechlessness might be the smartest thing you've ever done in your life hick. Now come along, we've got people to see." Rue started for the door, wobbling a bit on unsteady legs. She played her gait off well, swaying her hips as she walked to keep her balance, and when she glanced over her shoulder to see that Ofelia wasn't moving a hand quickly lashed out and latched itself onto the teen's wrist. "I said move." The purr was gone, replaced with the thin and cruel hiss Ofelia knew all too well.

Her feet started moving before her brain told them to move, the pain in her wrist ushering her onward.

Just what had she done?
