She said simply before looking back at the puppets and walking over near the ledge to make sure they were still focused on them, she gripped the pendant around her neck slightly before letting go not long after. She sighed then "Forget I said anything... let's just kill those things before they hurt the survivors." ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus watched as Shira grabbed the pendant around her neck, something seemed familiar about it, but he chose not to say anything. "Fine, lets just get this over with." he said as he walked towards Shira and grabbed both of her hands, transforming back into the two blades from before. This time Shira would be able to hold him, but now and then she would feel a stinging sensation.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She could care less about her hands, what worried her was that that meant that their souls were starting to stop resonating together. That was the last thing she wanted to happen. She jumped down then and started fighting the puppets again, though her way of killing them seemed much more severe then before, instead of taking off their heads quickly, she would basically just spear them in the neck, having them die much slower. She saw another giant puppet and quickly took out both of its legs and arms so it would just lay there basically and bleed to death. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As Shira fought Atticus would not say or do anything that would possibly anger Shira. Instead, he just let her do what she wanted to do. While they were fighting, Atticus would look at her hands, seeing that she was still getting injured by holding him, "..." he would stare and say nothing as he knew this meant that if things are settled soon, the two of them would end their partnership.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ Shira continued to kill the puppets in pretty brutal ways. She stopped suddenly as she felt one sword slip slightly she looked at one of her hands to see that it was not covered in blood "Awe... I am bleeding..." She said in what seemed to be a childish pout "The color is pretty though..." She said with a laugh as she looked at some of the puppets "Wonder if they have the same color if I open them up." She said with another laugh as she went back to killing the sea of puppets. Something was definitely starting to seem off about her, the lines on her head continued to go in between a disturbing red color to its normal color and she laughed under her breath as she continued killing the puppets. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus would sense something off in Shira's soul wavelength, after hearing her words, and seeing how she was fighting, he would deduce that she must have been taken over by either her fear or the madness. "Just perfect." he said as combined his two swords back into one and then turned human again, appearing before Shira, "We need to retreat from here and get you to a safe location." Atticus said as he placed his left hand on her shoulder.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She said with a crazy looking grin before slapping his hand away "I won't follow you, you have no head. I won't fall for that trap." She said before suddenly taking off and landing a bit farther away, she looked at her hands again before snickering "Red is such a pretty color... I want to paint this place in it." She said before she aimed her hands at the puppets "You will do fine as my paint." She said with a demonic grin as the lines on her head suddenly turned black, matching her hair. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Atticus could only watch as Shira slapped his hand away from her should, "Shira, you are truly weak." he said as he turned around and watched as her lines went from white to black and she started slaughtering all of the puppets. Looking back at the survivors, Atticus would see a frightened look in the eyes of the little girl, forcing him to take action. Appearing behind Shira, Atticus would take his left hand and use it to grasp Shira's left arm and pin it behind her back, while using his right hand to stop her from shooting, "Shira, I do not wish to harm you, so I will only say this once more...let us retreat now." he said as he looked down at her.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Dodging seconds before it hit, Atticus would reappear in front of her, "How? Just how have I harmed you?" he asked as he saw the look in her eyes, and with a demonic look in his eyes, Atticus would sighed, "Forget it, I'm done trying to reason with you, trying to be the perfect weapon for you. If you wish to become a lowly creature who dwells in the madness, then I will save you the only way I know how." Atticus transformed his left hand into a sword and pointed it at her, "Shira, please regain your sanity."▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

She said before laughing, she was unfazed by the sword at her throat and went on to turning around and spinning, shooting some more puppets "There was the hand, the shoulder, the heart. You have harmed me in so many ways, it should only be fair that I harm you back... but Atticus doesn't know what I am talking about cause he ended up giving himself brain damage again." She told him with a laugh as she twirled around in a loopy way. "No matter what, it seems like there is nothing left for me here... the spoiled brat doesn't have one friend in the end... she just is known as the weak girl who sees corpses wherever she looks. Bodies of those she once love." She spoke in nonsense while laughing. She stopped to cough "Yay, I am just made up of blood, I taste blood in my mouth now." She said in a cheerful way before looking at him, she suddenly stopped laughing and looked at him coldly "Regain sanity huh? The spoiled weak girl hates sanity. With madness she can't feel a thing." She said before a demonic grin spread across her face "Hands don't hurt, chest doesn't hurt, nothing hurts." "You are truly mad." he said as he continued to listen to her speak. Suddenly, Atticus would run up to her, grab her by the throat, and slam her on the ground, his hand still are her throat. Something seemed to have snapped within him, "Why are you giving up on life? Why are you giving up on becoming the strongest Shinigami?" he asked as he placed his blade at her chest, more specifically her heart, "You were the one person who gave my heart and soul strength to continue living. I gave up my past and future for you. And now you are saying that you would rather succumb to the madness than confront the real world. You really are nothing but a selfish, spoiled little girl. I can't stand to see you like this."▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I can never become a full fledged Shinigami... that was decided the moment they found out I had that illness." She said with a expressionless face "To my parents, I am basically a burden. They are never home, when they are they make sure I am still alive and go on there way. In order to keep myself from losing it I would just give myself false achievements and say I would be the best there was despite that I could never go too far into that goal... I am basically a failed shinigami." She told him before smirking and laughing slightly "Who told you exactly to give up all of your crap for a failed shinigami?! I don't remember specifically telling you to stop being Demon king and to run along side me to attempt to commit to something I could never do!" She snapped before laughing even louder, she covered her eyes with a free arm "This is extremely pathetic! Why the hell couldn't you have just left me like that other one did?! Why did it have to get this far in?! I could have just went on to feeling that stupid loneliness I have for no reason!" She snapped in between laughs, almost like she was going in between emotions. Her laughing died down soon, keeping her arm over her eyes "I really am pathetic. In the end I really am a failed shinigami, fallen into madness and seeing everyone dead behind my eyes even." She said in a calmer voice, still laughing but it suddenly turned to something else "Please just kill me... I always screw up like this..." She said in between sobs, still covering her eyes in attempt to try and get whatever was in her head out "I don't like being selfish and spoiled, I never wanted to be like that...
