The first thing Ro did was flinch as Rep yelled at him, he hadn't planned on upsetting the other hunter with his words, but punching these things was only going to get him killed. It passed though and Roland barely noticed his only response was to nod when Rep thanked him for the bandage.

His mood got no better as Petra only snapped at him again. He seemed to practically shrink as his shoulders dropped, his death grip on Sylvia only getting tighter. The discussion moved to leaving him with Rep and Rep taking care of him, it seemed backwards, the other hunter watching over the one with the weapon who was promising to guard him.

Then again he was trying to deny just how horrified he was at the prospect of this whole situation. When he next looked up a roll of bandages was being tossed his way. Snatching them out of the air he blinked, brown eyes looking confused for a moment before Cain was pointed at him with a simple order as he carefully stuffed the bandage into his pack replacing the one used.

"Not today." He watched as another hunter ran by, Jerry, with his large bazooka of a weapon. He barely had time to register him before he was off fighting something else and Rep was mussing out loud.

"HQ looked as bad as the dorms, crystals, people running everywhere pure chaos." He shifted his stance grabbing Silvya in both hands now watching as creatures moved past them, towards an unseen barrier that was keeping them all in check.

"Rep... what the hell should I do?" his eyes flickered to the older hunter for a moment, "We have to stop them from whatever it is they plan on doing but."

Riyo was totally still around. Just... Layin' there.

"Wha?" The ghoul shook her head and snapped out of it, practically springing from the ground like a bouncy ball. HUMANS. HUMANS EVERYWHERE. Oh yeah, that was right. They weren't in Kansas anymore. The feline should go back to the infirmary where she'd been blown away from. She should go try and help save Mitsu but...

But Mitsu needed a way out as well.

A small POOF and the ghoul was nothing but a small, long-legged black cat. Maybe in this form she could keep an eye on the situation and jump in if she needed to. It was hard to have faith in the others, mostly in Shun, but at the very least the boil probably realized ******** up twice would probably prove fatal for more than just himself.

Little paws pattered as the cat darted into a bush, beady red eyes peering out cautiously.

The news of the state of HQ sent chills down his spine, HQ had the shields, had all the stationed hunters, it was meant to be impermeable but by the sound of it something had gone wrong. He remembered the crystals underground from the sewers and recalled mention of them being linked to the very power of the island itself. Someone must have ******** up big.
"Surely they won't get HQ, I mean. Cael and H are back there. The doc survived being eaten by a ******** titan and Cael likewise kicks a** hardcore. HQ should hopefully be okay. We just need to survive here."

"What you should do man, is not ******** up. Aye we need to stop them but right about now in the state you are in, you could end up flunking out on a battle. If any weak pickings come by, grab them and get your weapon a charge maybe. If you aren't ******** up to that, just stick by me."

The sequence of clicks was heard by rep and the faint glow of some of the runic in the jungle scrub caught his attention. Almost.

And then they went off again.

"Looks like at least they are ******** fighting back. Even if not..entirely successfully."

The portal barrier begas to crack under the assault and then...

A large black man in a leotard placed his hands against the shield, a colorfully woven bracelet around his wrist. Within the barrier, a few might notice a much larger, matching bracelet encircling the portal area. Yes, that's right, Killzone had bound himself to the barrier, and was protecting it with the Power of Friendship.

Those with violent intentions find their attacks absorbed, only the most powerful hits are able to make it through!

"Y-yeah. No kidding," Deryk agreed. This place was really rough. And it looked like the barrier wasn't going to last that much longer. At least. Until Killzone and Charlotte came up to help out. He let out a shaky breath at that, but he was still a little uneasy about everything going on here.

" I don't know an H or Caelius but they likely have their hands full, it seemed like everything was moving towards the main parts of the island. This place is just... some kind of awkward front, I don't know." Though he agreed; they needed to worry about survival here right now.

He continued listening to Rep's advice peeking left and right of the tree line they where hiding in. "Yeah.. flunking in battle, and unlike Ceres these things won't be nice enough to put a band-aid on me."

Without warning a new barrier rose up, only to be smashed back down when another hunter... of most fabulous nature leaped outward to defend it. Glancing back at Rep he only offered a shrug before moving to stand beside Jerry and Killzone leveling Silvya towards the monsters.

"N-nice rocket. Umm who's the guy saving us now?"

There was a strange numbness in all her body, and Heidla was growing inwardly impatient. Had she grown stale and awkward for doing nothing at Amityville? Was she getting useless? Or even worse, could it be that now she was simply unable to gather her courage and fight? Could a creature of fear feel frightened? What a dump fit of philosophical musings, she grinned, she would not allow herself to become a musing weakling. She played with her little sickle hesitantly. She was late, she felt it, and all that due to her doubts. But being late did not necessarily imply taking no action? She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. Pictures of her former self were flashing in her consciousness. When did she grow that unsure? She should have talked to the head priestess about her doubts, without making it all on her own.

Then something changed in the air, and she felt a new vicious feeling rising in her stomach. Hunters. She was afraid of them, wasn't she? Selfishly, cowardly afraid. And strangely enough, it made her feel stronger. The only way to fight was to accept one's own weakness, and give way to one's basest instincts. Wasn't her hatred of them enough to make her move? Wasn't it violent enough to make her forget everything? There was a glimpse of berserk rage in her eyes now. Oh well... she will just forget everything that happened to her in the last couple of months, and keep her head void of thoughts. All but one: do as much damage to the Hunters as possible.
