Miranda laughed and choked as water was splashed at her and got up her nose. She coughed again and nodded at his suggestion. It was getting colder and at this rate they'd check something.
Shivering, she quickly went to retrieve the clothes. She was soaked and didn't both putting them back on. She'd only soak them too. Gathering them up in her arms she walked over too Luke.
"I'll follow you." she said, wiping a wet strand of hair from her face.

Miranda caught the towel. "Thanks."
Despite his aloof manner at the moment she was surprised that he'd suggested that. Then again she was probably unfazed by sleeping next to a woman.
She dried her hair as best she could and wiped all the water off her body. She borrowed the only bathroom long enough to change and blow dry her hair slightly. Once she was finished she looked over at Luke.
"Good-night." She said with a curt nod. She took the light blanket folded at the end of the bed for decoration and heading for the livingroom couch.

The couch was comfortable and setting herself didn't take long. However the room was cold and she curled herself up with the blanket wrapped tightly around her.
She did fall asleep for a time. However the cold chill persisted. Finally she got up, blanket still around her and wandered the house. She hoped to find a thermostat but there wasn't anything in the house. She was loath to join Luke in the bedroom.
She hadn't dried her hair fully so it still contained some moisture. She wished it wasn't so thich or it would have been dry by now. As stubborn as she was she knew she could get sick if she stayed out. She peeked into the bedroom and was immediately met with warmer air.
It dawned on her why it was freezing in the rest of the house with no way to change it. She should have known they wouldn't overlook the fact that they might try to sleep in different rooms. His parent were quite through.
Finally she stepped in, glancing at his sleeping form. She didn't want to disturb him by climbing in, nor did she really want to. So she slowly took a pillow. The floor was carpeted so it would do. She lay down beside the bed and fell asleep quickly.

Miranda was awakened by a thump and shakening. She groan and opened her eyes slowly to stare at the person in from of her. Who was this? Was it a new butler.
As the face in front of her cleared, she remembered. "Oh. It's you." she mumbled. He had asked her something. It took her a second to recall what it was. She was having a hard time shaking off sleep. "I'm fine. Got cold." she mumbled.
She straightened out, stretching as far as she could to help wake herself up. It felt good but she apparently when too far. Her calf started cramping.
Now she was awake. "Ow ow ow!" she said sitting up straight.

Miranda was surprised when she was suddenly lifted up and dropped on ther bed. Was she really that light? She blushed lightly. To hide it, she reached to grab her foot and pull it forward, letting her hair fall across her face.
As she stretched her calf it eased the pain. "Really, I'm fine. I just got a cramp in my leg."

Miranda was surprised, and grateful for the kindness he was showing her. She hadn't expected this from him. The heat from the pad was already easing the pain and the coco was soothing. There was more to this man then her first assumption.
"Thank you. I really appreciate this." she said with a half smile. Her wrapped her handed around the warm cup. "I guess I figured out the hard way that it's difficult to sleep anywhere but in here." She chuckled slightly shaking her head.

Miranda nodded embarressed. "I'm sorry. I didn't judge you very well." she said. The thought of what he told her yesterday at the table colored her judgement. She flushed at the thought.
"Um.." she started suddenly curious. "Did... did you really... make a...." She paused coughing. "A tape." she asked. Right now it was hard to see him as that guy.
