Sojiro nodded and allowed his tails to fall from his waist. he lifted one of his tails and dipped it into the water."thanks, Maru..."he said, smiling before he began to clean the wound. He winced and gritted his teeth as the water and tail brushed away the dirt and splinters, revealing how torn up his arm really was. after he finished, Sojiro washed away the blood with a little bit of the water. the water bubbled and steamed, making him sigh sadly."the blood of one destined for Hell..."he muttered as he ripped his shirt and tightly bound the wound.

Sojiro nodded silently."sorry for all the blood..."he didnt look up, the bubbling water having disturbed him.

Sojiro sighed."im still sorry..."he mumbled, looking at her. he noticed she was looking at the ocean so he looked down again."your thinking about moving away... arent you?"

Sojiro sighed sadly."i... if you want to leave, i wont stop you..."he said, something falling into the sand and making wet spots. he didnt want her to leave, but he had a feeling that something would happen. he didnt see the smile."Maru... what about the human boy who brought you to the forest to find me?"

Saiga woke up from his nap and sighed, not noticing the others."i should go visit his grave soon... im his best friend, so... i should start visiting it every day"he said to himself.

"he's human... wouldnt it be better if you went out with him?"he asked, still looking at the clouds."i know that some humans hide their true feelings from those they like... im sure he likes you, even though i only gave him that message"he looked at her sadly. He disliked the possibility of hurting her further, but he knew it was safer for her to fall for a human male instead of him. He knew what would happen to her if she fell for a yokai and he didnt want her to endure that suffering.

Saiga looked over, spotting Maru first. he looked away quickly and walked over to the group."whats wrong?"he asked, finally showing some concern."i... forgot to apologise for what i said back in the forest, i didnt mean to be so harsh..."

Sojiro sighed sadly."Maru..."he stopped, looking down. he didnt know what to say to her. he didnt want to hurt her feelings.

"still, it was out of line...i didnt mean it, its just that...i lost someone close to me and ive been a little harsh because of it...so, im sorry"Saiga looked at her."how can i make up for what i said?"

Sojiro sighed."falling for me will make you an outcast, a lot of people wont like it and will try to hurt you to get to me. I dont want that to happen to you, i cant let you see me when people get on my bad side..."he sighed, looking away.

Saiga listened to what the boy said and sighed."well, it seems he's not going to budge on that subject... whatever he's talking about..."he said, trying not to sound too harsh. he looked back at Maru."how about i treat you to lunch for a few days? your pick of what and where you want to eat."
