Rednal"Actually, I'm pretty sure Amelia hates my guts... but you're right." Rednal muttered, hoping Yosuke was sufficiently distracted by the nurse. He'd just talked about meeting Yuno in the hospital, too; why hadn't he been fooled by that? He was pretty sure none of them actually knew Syl... well, whatever. However he'd come to the answer, whether it was totally random (a distinct possibility) or something else entirely, a loss was a loss and he wasn't going to argue about that. ....@#$it;.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader "Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"If there was any bitterness in the Detective Prince's response to the punishment that he had put upon her, or in the insult that he had instructed her to deliver unto him, she didn't allow it to slip through that perfectly schooled mask of hers. His own poker face did not slip an inch at the jab she concealed within her vast vocabulary, a picture of innocence as if challenging her to prove that he had done anything wrong in his questioning and answers. After all, he might not be a detective, but he was still more than aware of what elements needed to be in place to pull off the perfect crime. No evidence, no witnesses, and no remorse...or at least, no visible remorse. The bow was all she would get of the latter, the only witness to the former had business in another prefecture hours away, and there was no evidence of any transgression anywhere in the vicinity...and if there was, it was long since faded beyond any use in an investigation. His long frame leaned back against the wooden chair and for a moment, he seemed utterly at peace as the game continued on around him. Nix was finally getting into the act of the punishment that he had given her, and to his great delight, his best friend was thoroughly enjoying the experience, perhaps almost too eagerly when he took her hand and set it upon his chest with the prop-stethoscope he had brought along with him. ...Did he really just carry that around with him everywhere he went? That was really kind of...weird, perverted, st-...no, he wasn't going to think like that about his bro. Men were entitled to their own things, and if Yosuke's love of nurses ran that deep, then he could respect that it was simply what got his engines running. And it made him all the most satisfied with the result of the dare. 'You owe me for this one,' he thought with a half-smirk as he glanced over and caught the pleasure in the eyes of his 'partner' as he flustered Nix time and time over, before returning his own attention to the game. Rednal's question had been answered...now, what would be the fallout of Yosuke's response?
Victory? That was strange, the Senior could have sworn that Rednal was most likely referring to Yuno when he asked his question...but then again, he didn't doubt Rednal's affinity for hospital shows given his history, nor did he doubt that the silver-haired Junior considered everyone on the team his friend (even if Amelia didn't consider the feeling to be mutual...an issue he was still trying to work out between them). And the way that he worded the question had been suspicious, since he had been talking about Yuno by name only a few moments prior. Trick questions, indeed, but somehow his partner's deductive skills had lead him down the right path. Nodding once, he glanced towards the onyx-haired girl at his side in curiosity...to see how she was enjoying the game...before returning his attention to the boy about to be punished. Was his bro feeling particularly mean today? This dare had the potential to be very interesting if he was...or at the very least, there was a high probability of somebody being on the receiving end of a violent slap. Hopefully, the hand delivering it didn't have Pierce.
"Let's spice this up," the Senior's voice pierced the air after a moment, feeling another moment of mischievous amusement well up inside of him. He stood from his table for a moment lightning-swift, the buttons on his shirt coming inexplicably undone in an instant as he seemed to shine...and in moments the open-shirted Senior with his scarred but sculpted torso was in the kitchen rifling through the different shelves as if in search of something that would surely make the game much more interesting! What was it, though, that had him so excitable? His expression gave no hints until he turned with a flourish and pulled away the covering from one of the delicious Aiya's beef bowl specials and revealed...was that salt? "...Just right," he muttered calmly wiping away a tiny bead of sweat from his forehead as he slid back into his place beside Yukiko at the table, smiling warmly at the girl before picking at a small segment of beef and rice with his chopsticks and placing the perfectly succulent piece of meat upon his tongue. ...It truly was delicious, as expected. After a few moments of chewing he swallowed and that bright mood seemed to increase even a bit more, though he was as quiet and cool as ever until he finally spoke up again, urging the rest of the team on casually. "We should continue the game quickly. It will be the Dark Hour, soon..."

He was clearly enjoying her punishment, perhaps a little too much but at least he wasn't doing anything extreme yet. It sounded like he picked what he thought was the lie out of the list, hopefully he would be right. The snowy haired girl stopped when she heard the brunette speak up again, saying his heart felt like it was on fire every time he looked at her. "That's a very kind thing to say but-!!" Suddenly she felt his hand grab hers before pressing it, and the stethoscope, against his chest. Her face grew to a bright shade of red again as she froze. 'Why am I touching his chest!? Wait the stethoscope is.. But my hand is touching it in a way. He's holding my hand too! He isn't letting go! Why is that? What am I supposed to do!?' None of her mental panic showed on her face as she just kept staring at her captive hand, unsure of what to do. ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ♫

"You just came because you thought it sounded like a good time!" "Maybe if you got lucky, you could be a hero." 'Heh, guess you don't remember, but you mentioned watching a lot of medical shows before. I've got a mind like a steel trap." Yosuke said, tapping the side of his head to emphasize his impeccable memory. But if his memory was really so good, how come his grades were so slow a lot of people mistook it for a running gag...? W-well, he had the future to look towards anyway, he couldn't be caught up in this boring stuff like studying and exams when he had better things to think about! Stop reading my mind, damn it! "Alright, and I have just the plan for you...first, you need to borrow Karu's cellphone!...or Soji's. Whichever works." Yosuke said, pointing to the newer member of the team with excitement. "Then, you have to PRANK CALL AMELIA!"' Yosuke nearly shouted with enthusiasm, already thinking about the joys this game could give to someone who played it right...Nix being an obvious example right now, although he kind of felt like this joke had run it's course for the time being. "And finally, when she picks up, you have to pretend to be that Lewis Keys guy she always likes! Then you should say something...um like...how about...oh! I know! Prank and tell her that it's Lewis and...well, she might not remember what happened, but she's MIGHT want to get checked for...well, you know..." Yosuke said, nodding with the determination that had once managed to bring down a goddess of lies and illusions. Okay, so maybe it wasn't the best way for him to be using the battle hardened will he obtained from last year's big incident, but when life gave you an evil punishment game, you had to make lemonade damn it! Meanwhile, he could tell that Soji was getting a little too into things, and Yosuke could feel a sizeable bead of sweat forming on the back of his neck as he looked at his teammate trying to amp things up. W-when his partner tried to get things going, they usually escalated a lot quicker than anyone could withstand. Maybe they should take things slow for now, and avoiding anything that would require his shirtless...glasses wearing...oh god, if he started throwing darts and ordering drinks on the rocks, Yosuke was out of here, damn it! He was NOT going to be showed up like that again! "And that Senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!"

"OBJECTION!" Suddenly a body popped up between Nix and Yosuke, hands pushing either away from one another quick as lightning. "Overruled! No! Nuh-uh! No way!" Zeo shouted grabbing Nix princess style and jumping over the table, Soji, Yukiko, and everything else as he landed in the kitchen, glaring daggers at Yosuke. "If aaaanyabodeh is gonna get treated by a naughty nurse, it's totally gotta be me! Hey Nix, check this out! Full on sixpack! Awww yeah, I'm like *flex*, and the girls are like *squeel*, and all the thugs are like 'Oh we're so totally pwwwnneed'. Awww yeaaah!" Zeo said, putting Nix down, ripping his shirt off and flexing like nobody's business as he explained just how rock hard and chiseled and awesome his body was. And if it weren't for the fact that somewhere under all that was a whole lot of metal, the fact that he was strong... wouldn't have been apparent at all actually. Yeah, he was pretty slim, in fact. Those Kirijo outdid themselves. "Heh, how about you check my heartbeat, baby? Don't you want to find out what a man of steel's heart sounds like? I promise I'm more human than you know~" Zeo said, catching Nix's hands with his own and pulling her in close as he winked and started talking in his uh, seductive voice I guess, making a little 'rawr' sound at the end. I know what you're thinking, is he Teddie now? Well the answer is no, because Zeo is totally way more awesome. "And if you want, you and I could go back to your office. The storm picks up, the lights flicker out! In the dark, you and I stumble over one another, and when they turn back on we're in a compromising position! Though your senses tell you to stand, the hot breath of another passes across your lips...you unconsciously draw closer..." Zeo leaped up onto the refrigerator, smacking his head off the ceiling because he hadn't really thought this through, sufficing by sitting there all Batman epically posing on a gargoyle style. "Awwwwww yeeaaaahh! That's what I'm talking about! But yyyyyouuuu! YOU were trying to interfere!" Zeo said, glaring daggers at Yosuke; and then suddenly springing forward, catching on to his senpai as legs vice gripped his waist and arms wrapped around his neck and head, arms and legs flailing wildly as they attempted to maintain balance, clawing hair into a mess and bodies flailing about wildly as Zeo attempted to wrestle him to the ground. "Apologize to your parents in heaven! Apologize! 'I will never steal the babes from Zeo again!' RRRAAAWWWRRRR!" Zeo shouted, acting for all intents and purposely, ridiculously, ludicrously, hilariously...childish.
And then he shot across the room and stuff, pointing at Soji and Yukiko suddenly. "And you, too close! Way too close! What, are you dating or something? Come oooooon, I thought we had an agreement when you started dating Rise! You get the idol, and I get every other chick! Duuude, you're not living up to your side of the bargain!" Zeo had leaped over the two before Soji could say anything else, gripping Nix's hands and staring into her eyes with sparkling puppy eyes. "Come babe, let us away to Neverland! There you and I can stay together forever, in a land of magic and happiness, and enjoy one another's company as if it were impossible for the world to stall our love! And no BUTTMUNCHES will force you to play nurse to NOT me, while I'm totally over here putting off my PIMP aura, which should have caused ladies for miles around to flock in! Ya hear that Yosuke! Nix and I are in looooove~, so you should STOP. GETTING. INVOLVED!"' Zeo said, clearly flustered beyond all reckoning. Logic said that he must have driven himself into a frenzy with all his bouncing around, but since logic was out the window, it should have been no surprise when he suddenly spun Nix as if they were doing the tango, bringing her into his arms as he leaned her back (man, she executed that spin move PERFECTLY), staring into his mademoiselle's eyes. "Don't worry...I'll be gentle..." Zeo said, just not making sense anymore. A-and was he wearing the classic villain barbell mustache!? Man, that whole nurse thing must have really flustered him.

"Man is just an animal tryin' to kill time 'til the end of his days." "It ain't about guys or chicks. I was just afraid of being rejected." Kanji Tatsumi - Certified BadassIt was right around the end of the cyborg's total meltdown and his attempt to tango with the clearly-unwilling Nix when a size-13 boot landed squarely in the side of a shaggy mop of blue hair and sent Zeo skidding rather unceremoniously into a heap piled on top of the still-unconscious Crowley in the middle of the kitchen. Bleached-blond hair cracked as a strong hand popped his head to one side casually, setting his foot down after a moment with a big, almost goofy smile and a wave towards his classmates and Senpai in the living room. Almost as if he hadn't just KO'd a ridiculously durable cyborg perv with a single strike so strong it would make the Kirijo Ergonomics Research Team jealous...seriously, sometimes it was easy to forgot just how much of a badass Kanji Tatsumi could be when he wasn't out there smashing shadows, crushing biker gangs, or fighting off teams of Czechoslovakian Assassins at the Samegawa Floodplain. For those who had let the thought slip their mind for even a moment...this was the reminder that they needed. Nonetheless, his gruff voice was kind of jovial when he raised his hand to wave and called out to his friends, perhaps a little disappointed that he had missed the important part but clearly happy to have made it before everyone went home. "Yo, Senpai! Sup?" he smiled brightly, moving into the living room in a flash to flop down square next to the coffee table, regardless of any actual seating still available and totally ignorant to any sort of mood that had been going on, "Man, that Zeo was even crazier than usual today...sup with that? ...Oh, and uh, sorry for showin' up so late. Ma' had me helpin' rearrange the shop, and, well, I was never all that great at the thinkin' part of all this, anyway." Before, maybe saying so much would have embarrassed him, but now he had pretty much accepted his strengths and weaknesses as a part of him. He had accepted his shadow, and he accepted his hobbies and who he was. And the best part was that he had friends who were willing to accept him for it. It was pretty badass when it all came down to it, wasn't it?
"So, what do we got goin' on in here? Some kind of...game or somethin'?" he asked as he looked around the room, surprised to find that even Naoto had made it out to the house in order to hang out with them. That she had been very busy of late was no surprise to him. Still, they were making the best of what they could. His cheeks pinkened slightly and he looked away from her after just a moment, though. Even after all they had been through, he still wasn't totally used to being around chicks after all...particularly her. "Oh, s**t," he paused after a moment, glancing back towards the kitchen nervously, "Zeo wasn't uh...just playin' a role or something, was he? ...Damn, I should probably think a little more before knockin' people around, huh?" "And then I'm going to fix it all up...yeah, I'm gonna RENOVATE your a**!"

"You just came because you thought it sounded like a good time!" "Maybe if you got lucky, you could be a hero." 'Wha-get off me! H-heeeeeyyy!" The brown haired senior tried to reach behind him to get the blue haired DEVIL off his back, but for the life of him all he could really manage was to keep his feet as he swayed back and forth from all the movement. You know, for a little freshman pipsqueak, Zeo was ridiculously heavy! Yosuke's mind went blank however as he stumbled towards the glass door behind him, eyes going wide as he saw his reflection coming closer. "Oh sh-shi-!!" The Investigation Team founder's heart skipped a beat as he used all his weight to slide to the left, missing the door by a hair's breath as he crashed face first into the wall. As his body slowly slid down in defeat and Yosuke got a good idea what the smell of wallpaper was like, Zeo moved on, but not before leaving an impression...on Yosuke's face. "D-damn it Zeo, cut it out! I almost broke my freaking nose there."' Although there were no tears, Yosuke could feel every muscle in his face contorting underneath his skin, bunching up as water flooded his eyes and nose, and only the immeasurable force known as 'manliness' helped him keep it in check as he waited for the pain to dull down a bit. Even if it hurt, even if he knew it might swell tomorrow, or that this was the kind of thing breaking something felt like, there was one law that you had to live by...nobody cries in front of another man! And even though he knew that Soji and the others had to get just how much that hurt, they would definitely keep quiet on it and give him a silent nod of approval, because that's just how men worked! 'M-man...now I really could use that nurse...' Yosuke thought idly, glancing over towards Nix who was suppose to still be in the middle of the dare. Considering the extent Zeo's irrationality had been driven to though...maybe it was best to just let that part of the game end for now. "Dude, leave her alone. Look, you've got her all scared thanks to your crappy Prince Charming routine. And what kind of Prince rips off his shirt?" Yosuke snapped again with a sharp sigh. Well...Nix was a smart girl, she could take care of herself. It was everyone else who had something to worry about, and Yosuke only took a minute of gazing through the line-up to know who he was going to pick. It was time for some revenge after all those tough times she'd put him through last year, and most of all, he wasn't just going to let it go and pretend that she'd never forced him to eat Mystery Food X! His stomach was barking for a week after that! He couldn't eat solid foods! "Yukiko, that look on your face is just begging for a challenge! Alright then, I aasssk you, Ms. Amagi, heiress of the Cursed Inn!" Yosuke joked, bringing up some rather tasteless individuals who had come to Inaba a while back. If one heard how Yukiko had driven them off, they would have only heard half the story. If they heard about how they went around town trying to badmouth Yukiko, only to have the Junes Prince 'accidentally' dump a bucket of filthy mop water on them, they'd still only get most of the picture. Buuuut, it was that part, not the one where they were going to egg Yukiko's Inn, and got caught by Kanji Tatsumi only for him to beat the living snot out of them, that really cinched the deal here as he thought back to those amusing days. "Is it true that numero uno, 1: I totally chipped a tooth when Soji slugged me, mystical number 2: I reserved a room for all of us to go back to the Inn a week from now, so we can relax for a change, or the all important number 3: Soji ditched me on Golden Week this year!" Yosuke said, smiling with the snippets out of the way. As he did he extended a hand towards Soji (from across the room of course), putting on his best Shakespearian act as he did so. "How cruel, partner! To break my tooth, and then not even work to pay it back...you should thank me for this vacation! It's above and beyond, if you ask me." Yosuke said, reinforcing all the ideas. Could Soji see the truth? Perhaps...but it was poor, poor Amagi who had to read the wage-slave's mind, and as she might find, he had more than enough reason to trick her to the best of his abilities. A MILLION showers would never make him clean, damn it! "And that Senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!"
Quote: 1. Yosuke chipped a tooth when Soji slugged him at the flood plain. 2. Yosuke reserved a room a week from now at the Inn for the gang. 3. Soji didn't help at Junes at all during Golden Week.

Apparently people thought she was playing a 'naughty' nurse. Zeo picked her up, ripped open his shirt, nearly kissed her, did a halfway tango with her and seemed jealous for some odd reason. She caught sight of Yosuke crashing face first into a wall, certainly not a pleasant experience. If Kanji hadn't stepped into er.. remove Zeo from the situation then the poor thing would be in trouble. Since the snowy haired girl had some space she was able to catch her breath and relax some what. "Th-thank you, Kanji.." The I Teamer made a mental note to apologize to Zeo later but there was something more important at the moment.
"I hope you don't mind if I borrow an ice pack, Soji. I'll be sure to put it back later." Nix said with a small bow after locating an ice pack in the ice box. She walked over to Yosuke after he was done giving Yukiko a list of facts and held the ice pack out to him, smiling a little. "I'm sorry about all that, Yosuke.. This will help prevent the swelling and nub the pain." ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ♫

Yukiko Amagi "Snrk...!" Giggles broke loose not long after the game had started, the silliness of it all breaking the self-control and composure in the dark haired heiress usually kept. A hand kept covering her mouth, fingers uselessly trying to keep her ridiculous laughter from rising in volume too much as she watched the silverette going over the top, lenses, background music, mysteriously unbuttoned shirts...It was too much for her. And what was there to say about the others dares? And Kanji's obliviousness of the situation after practically knocking Zeo out? Hilarious. Of course she couldn't deny the blush coloring her cheeks with each minute passed, but...that was probably the drink's fault. Wait...was this an alcoholic beverage? It definitely felt like it. "Wait, wait....wait!" Yukiko tried calming herself down, only to start giggling all over again, hugging her sides as she gasped for air. It was Yosuke finally speaking up that sobered the onyx haired girl enough to listen to the questions coming at her.
She straightened up, brushing away a stray tear before clearing her throat, paying attention to the lies...or at least, as much as she could in this state. "I am ready for you, Prince of Junes!" But...she wasn't ready. At all. Eyes narrowed slightly as she tried to concentrate on the words, frowning at each statement. "I... I think I would remember you booking a room at the inn!" The girl accused, pointing at him. "So, Number 2!" And with that, she was back in her seat, nodding to herself. Of course... perhaps she didn't pay too much thought to the options, but... eeeh... it only made sense, right? Right? Besides, even if she hadn't answered the phone that day... someone else would have surely told her about it. Yes. Of course.

Rednal"...Who?" Rednal asked. Not that he was terribly averse to prank-calling Amelia, especially on somebody else's phone, though it might be awkward if she recognized the number. A phone booth might be a better bet, or some other public telephone. The problem was... he really had no idea who Yosuke was talking about. Ruisu... Kiizu? That sounded kind of foreign, which would probably suit her personal tastes. Darned foreigners and their automatic assumption that they were better than Japan in every way, even if it was obvious that Japan had the best electronics to offer, and oh how they loved that stuff. It could be kind of awkward to pretend to be somebody he didn't know, though, since it wouldn't be so easy to act as them... Hmm...

Faustus Necromonium and Kusuri Keiraku Faust silently observed as the lies and truths were passed around...hearing Rednal talk about Yuno. His....Stalker? He didn't say anything involving his comments on stalkers dating other targets, and merely hummed a slight tune as he watched it unfold. Yosuke's dare to Rednal seemed..amusing, if not dangerous to their already strained relationship....But it would still be amusing to watch. Kusuri herself folded her arms at Nix offering to volunteer her. "Sorry Nix, but you know just as good at anyone I don't do anything involving Cardio. I'm less of a Nurse and more of a...Mortician." A....actually decently Dark joke, as she sat around, wondering when (and if) anyone would say anything to her. Hearing Naoto's 'Insult' to her, she merely shrugged, moving over to grab something From Aiya's, along with a side of Soji's Curry. It was....Relaxing to be able to just kick back like this, her only worries being if she was the next one picked. "I, on the other hand, have been a Nurse for several years." Faust called, edging his way into the jesting, and sliding over. "If you need something, I could likely be of assistance." It was honestly hard to keep this up with a straight Face. Perhaps he was just laxer than usual, but he couldn't help but be amused. Funny memories, a crowd of people...And more crazy antics to look forward to. It was nice....

Kar u Raiku Karu listened to everything going on trying to focus. He was being awkwardly quiet for this being a meeting of allies that were mostly seemingly friends or at least decent acquaintances. It wasn't that long before via the game they had started playing that his quietness was pointed out as part of the Detective Prince's punishment. It's not like he minded really, he had heard worse and it comparison to some of the other insults she ended up dishing. More or less being told that for the most part he was just very unremarkable. For the most he had been paying attention to what was going on but he also sort of had a small headache given how much information he was given by the other Investigation Team members about shadows and shades and all that crazy crap.

"You just came because you thought it sounded like a good time!" "Maybe if you got lucky, you could be a hero." "Lewis Keys! You have to have at least gotten a text from him before. It seems like he can contact anyone in town...it's really pretty freaky. He sent out those mass texts a while back, and we all got those. Plus, I heard a rumor that he like, came from Venice because she was his promised fiance or something. It's big news around town!" Yosuke said, reminding the forgetful Rednal of the well known foreigner. With that little tidbit out of the way though, he had to keep the game going or things might become a bore. There was no way he was going to ruin their first get together in a while by keeping his trap shut too long, so it was time to go back to gameshow host mode, as he turned to hear Yukiko's reply. "Heh, of course you would. And the answer iiiiis..." Yosuke said with a sly smile that showed there was more to it than that. "Bzzzzt, wrong! The truth is I worked something out with your mom and put in a little down payment myself. When I explained to her the horrible things you did to us last year though, from using my credit card to lying about the time on the baths, she said she would gladly put the room under your name. Revenge at last, and a sweet break for all of us, to boot!" Yosuke said, pumping an arm at his side in success as he offered a high five to Soji. The two had been put through hells that literary geniuses and poets alike could never describe, but at last, for the first time since Soji's initial visit to the countryside school it looked like revenge might finally fall in their hands. And that wasn't the best part! Although he'd managed to fool Yukiko with some masterminding that he was sure even Soji would be impressed with, the fact that she'd failed to guess correctly meant that he still got to ask her an embarrassing question! Oh ho, and he wasn't just going to let this go with an easy one, either. Yosuke turned to notice Nix's offer, but before he could respond he felt like a pensive glare was coming at him. As he looked across to see who it had been, he locked eyes with his silver haired companion, and it was as if words were exchanged, without either saying anything. "Thanks Nix, it does hurt a bit..." He glanced at the mystical eyes of his companion again, as if reaffirming the words that had never been seen, and sighed. A test of manliness was it? Well no way was he going to say after fighting Gods and crazy cops, taking bullets and swords and who knew what else, was he going to back down and admit that he was really hurt by some stupid, thin wall! "But I'm fine. The pain's already gone, see? Besides, I think this punishment game should be about up anyways." Yosuke said with a soft smile, clearly misunderstanding her intention in taking care of him this time. He'd already said she was free from the game though, so she didn't have to worry about him like a nurse anymore...he'd feel bad making her do this anymore, if she did. "Alright Yukiko, time for the embarrassing question time! To tell you the truth, I've been looking forward to this one the most. I've even prepared a small list for just such an occasion." Yosuke said, holding up a napkin he'd been writing on earlier when Soji proposed the game. While the others were absorbed in each other's answers, he had been diligently preparing his attack, and it was clear now that although he had seemed light hearted at first glance, Yosuke was much more battle-hardened than they thought! Only Naoto might have been able to devise a counter strategy and recognize his attack halfway through, but Yukiko was much too air headed for that, and it was just that opening in her guard that he'd intended to exploit! "Do I ask you about your...lacy unmentionables? And I already know how your quest for scoring a hot stud went. Or maybe you should spill the beans about what kind of conscience allows you to unleash those HORRORS on us last year, and not even bat an eyelash! Mystery Food X...the nightmares...right partner?" Yosuke said, a small tear coming to his eye as he turned to his partner for confirmation. There was a part of them gone like smoke after eating that food, and he could never understate the fear of death he had that day. It was like...like choking on poison! "But no...no, I think I have to ask this one. It's the question that's been bugging me the most Reveal to us your darkest secrets once and for all!" Yosuke recited emphatically, putting a foot on the table and raising his hand to the heavens as if he were reading off a play that had been written beforehand. "Soooo tell me, Yukiko...has that hot stud seen your lacy unmentionables?" Yosuke asked, going for a killing blow in one shot. The fact that he was using he and Soji's conversations in the game might have been a bit unfair to his Partner, but if it was going to be like this, he'd make it up with the trip he planned next week. Right here, right now, he was going to push it for all it's worth! "What's it they always say...the King's Word is Law?" Yosuke said with the grin of a trickster, as if he were looking upon the snare he himself created, and reveling in his own creation. "And that Senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!"

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader "Show me a hero, and I will write you a tragedy"It was...unusual, or maybe it was entirely usual and he just liked to block out Zeo's random moments from his memory so entirely that he couldn't recall something like what he was doing right now consciously. Thankfully, he didn't have to dwell too long on the blue-haired android's actions very long before the boot from a bleached-haired delinquent sent him tumbling onto the corpse of Crowley to lay in an equally near-dead position. That was unusually easy...but the motor-mouthed wannabe playboy would probably be back on his feet again before they knew it, harassing the very next person with boobs that he came across with the same strange approach that he took to all of his failed conquests. Some people could not be bargained with, bought, or reasoned with...some men, just wanted to watch some girls turn. He pushed the thought from his mind. It was hard not to let a new thought take control of the situation, however, when Yosuke was taking such completely joy in being rather cruel to one of their friends...but in a manner that was admittedly half-justified, half-fun and somewhat of a catharsis for the both of them. It seemed that while Soji had taken his minor vengeance on Naoto (unwittingly, of course) in his own small fashion, Yosuke was going straight for the revenge jugular. Did he really book them all a suite at the Amagi Inn a week from now on Yukiko's dime?! And did he really have the guts (or lack of brains) to just admit that to her face in front of everyone? ...Even if he wasn't sure whether to remain silent or hide, he couldn't resist raising his hand for the victory high-five that his best friend threw out for him; bros didn't leave other bros hanging, after all. Nonetheless, despite their righteously indignant feeling at all the girls-centric misfortune they had endured, there was a delighted glee in Yosuke's tone that the silver-haired Senior simply could not embrace nor share. After all, he still valued his life.
"Yosuke, I don't think this is such a good i..." his voiced warnings were interrupted as Yosuke began to recall aloud some of the horrors that they had suffered last year at the hands of the girls...Mystery Food X being the most wretched of the bunch, enough that the mere mention of it sent a cold shiver down his spine and his suddenly deep and serious voice nearly trembling as a whisper escaped him, "I lost my innocence that day..." Of course, what he meant was that he had innocently believed at first...like Yosuke (even if he hadn't voiced it), that it was a beautiful and enjoyable part of youth to taste a girl's cooking for the first time (especially if it was made with the 'love' that Chie had insisted they put into it)...and that foolish, innocent belief had been crushed under the tyrannical feet of their demonic chefs. They hadn't even had the decency to act nearly so apologetic as was likely due, barging into their tent that night and nearly getting them expelled by King Moron, forcing them to practically sleep on top of one another (he and Yosuke, not he and one of the girls) while threatening them against trying anything funny as though it had been them who barged in in the first place! ...And then the river the next day, the icy cold water...Soji had played the gentleman and complimented Yukiko's swimsuit (which had been a 10/10 knockout in his opinion), but for Yosuke's tactless remark about them 'growing into fine women one day', he had been forced to suffer 'That Which 1,000,000 Showers Could Not Clean'. ...Then they had punished him later for Yosuke signing them up for the pageant by making him cross-dress in front of the entire school (even if he had gone at it full-force, it didn't mean he would have signed up for it on his own!), and...oh yes, now his motivation was beginning to return!
And even if he wasn't about to be foolish and raise his voice like Yosuke to rub in this small victory (which would, if their luck held as per the usual, evolve into a crushing, spirit-sucking defeat), he reveled in it silently. They couldn't punish him if he didn't rejoice out loud though, right? And...wait, what was that about 'hot stud seeing Yukiko's lacy unmentionables'?! "Yosuke, what are you...?!" he couldn't stop himself from blurting out a complaint that never completed, a hand half-extended as if to prevent a huge mistake...but it was far too late for that now. Realization dawned, and if he knew the girl at his side the way that he thought he did, there was really only one thing certain about what was still to come.
"He's boned."

Rednal"Ame... Amelia..." Rednal coughed a few times. "Ah, here we go." he nodded a bit in satisfaction. He wasn't great at different voices, but he'd tried it out in the past, just in case it ever came in handy for trying to fool Yuno. He wasn't quite sure if it was the right voice, but... well, he'd just do what he could. He walked over to the main door a moment later and cracked it open. "Yuno, I need your phone!" A pink cellphone flipped over a nearby fence and landed neatly in his hand. "Thank you!" he shut the door again and flopped onto the couch, then flipped open his stalker's list. The first one hundred entries were all to his number. After that, though, it diversified into the entire student body, their teachers, and a good chunk of the adults in town as well. Yuno was the sort of girl who was prepared, after all... and Rednal scrolled until he found the number he was looking for. Another plus was that Yuno deliberately had her number made anonymous, so there was basically no chance that Amelia would actually know whose phone it was just by looking for the name. "Mm... Ah, yes, Amelia." Rednal said smoothly, his voice deeper and smoother than normal. "It's Lewis. I'm sorry for calling you so late at night, but I think we need to talk about what happened a few nights ago. You probably don't remember... but please rest assured that I intend to take full responsibility. Please meet me outside the hospital as soon as you can. I want to make sure our child will be healthy." He flipped the phone shut, walked back to the main door, and tossed the phone over the fence. As it passed, a slender, pale arm reached up and grabbed it like the Lady of the Lake snatching Excalibur, and just like in King Arthur's myth, the arm moved wordlessly out of sight. Clicking the door shut, Rednal sat down on the couch again. "What?" he asked. "She probably has Soji's number. This was better for being realistic."
