Mitsu looked over the paper Thackery had comparing it until they found the right one. Shun first tried to read it...it wasn't quite right. " Office Casket Key." Mitsu amended. She allowed Thackery to inspect the key before looking over toward the box indicated. Couldn't hurt right? It could only be a horrible trap like everything else in this school. 8| Bravely Mitsu walked forward only egged on by Lizzy looking to the boils who had possession of the box. Yin and...Oh...it was Lou. " W..would you mind if I give this a try?" Mitsu paused when he uttered his comment, her brows furrowing before she rolled her eyes and stepped forward to try the key in the box.

A few things happened rather simultaneously. First, thankfully because of Shehk, she would hear a set of footsteps hastily running towards the office, a little too fast however, for the entire populace of snooping students to react.
At the same time there was a soft click as the box opened, revealing a small worn notebook. Inside were a series of numbers, similar to the photo picked up earlier by Taima. Just as King was about to learn why this Apple Cider wasn't just any apple cider but premium quality-
- A distraught secretary burst into the doorway, took one look at the students, opened his mouth, closed it, looked just about ready to explode or perhaps internally combust or maybe just melt into a puddle -
- When there was a second set of footsteps also coming this way. Wide-eyed in panic, Arel, quickly slammed the door shut behind him and gestured, or tried to, to the students, back firmly pressed against keeping the door shut. A series of loud raps quickly followed on the other side. "Er, yes, coming just um, tidying my place up you know how it is when there's guests over and-"
The secretary stopped for a second to boggle at all the students caught red handed, opened his mouth to say something, and then thought better of it at the second series of raps, louder and more agitated. "Behind the jacking cabinet, take the doorway down, stay there." This was uttered in a very, very quiet hiss.
The students needed to move, now.OOC - The cabinet is easy enough to move, and indeed there seems to be a very small cubbyhole of a doorway there for students to enter. The other side however, is surprisingly, rather spacious, a long dark hallway that seemed to go on forever. It is probably not wise to move down the hallway for now or is it? Walking a little further reveals that it seems to be a dead end.

Ooops, time to go! Alex was wondering to himself why he hadn't done so sooner. Was it just that he had gotten that distracted watching Yin make a fool of himself while also dividing his attention towards Mort and Mei? Apparently, yes. Grabbing the much smaller ghouls hand, he attempted to pull her towards the cabinet that was hiding their escape route, passing Yin along the way and hissing to him. "Yin, leave the ugly ghoul alone and come on."

Before she knew what was happening all hell seemed to break loose as Arel burst into the office and slammed the door shut. Her eyes grew wide as he seemed just as surprised as she was. She looked to the other boil before slowly moving towards a group of cider bottles and casually slipped one into her right sleeve then suddenly Alex was grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the doorway. She went willingly of course, not that the ghoul could probably wrench herself from the larger boil's grasp anyhow. As she slipped into the dark hallway, Mei squinted her eyes in an attempt to see in the darkness. It seemed quite spacious in there, like any other ordinary hallway.

"Hey g- Oh s**t."
She'd tried to warn them, but it seemed like it was time for Arel to bust in on the scene and catch them all. How come she wasn't really surprised by this? Never the less, she didn't waste a second to try and herd anybody close by towards where the Secretary had instructed before she followed the leads of those who had gone first to go behind the cabinet.
It was rather dark, but Shehk couldn't help but squint off into the darkness a bit to see what she could. Dark vision was awesome.

They'd been caught redhanded. Fortunately the secretary seemed too busy with whoever was on the other side of the door to punish them. Right at the moment, at least. Which was rather lucky for them, Leo thought as she made her way through the cubbyhole. They'd live to see another day. "So... do we just wait here now?"

Amphi had slipped in right before the Secretary, sliding through door and took a look around. Why she was here well...
It was because she heard of cavern exploring. A fact that seemed to be true as they were usered downstairs. Following the other students, Amphi disappeared down the stairs, looking around for anything in particular.

Mitsu had just caught the sounds of footsteps before Arel arrived. Wide eyed she snatched for the small journal in the box and stuffed it down the front of her dress not sure what else to do. Yeah, totally not noticeable. Hopefully they would have a chance to look at it later. For now it seemed they needed to move, the secretary in a panic.
Looking to the others she saw them climbing into the cubby hole and did much the same looking back to see if Shun was following.

Lumikki watched silently as the secretly spoke to the other students in the room, she had been standing very close to the door and keeping quiet. She had wanted to ask some questions about the trance but figured it might be better served until later. It might be wise to follow the rest of the students down the stairs seeing as how they were all already going to get in to trouble.
But not before she snatched a bottle of cider and slipping it up her coat sleeve, it might be useful if she got lost down there...sure she believed that right. Slipping down the stairs slowly she wondered if that cave she saw was still on school grounds.

Arel was back with his new friend it seemed. Without any hesitation, Shun went with the others into the little hiding place. Once in there, he noticed how damn dark it was. In the hallway. He thought of trying to see what was in the journal, but that may be better off a little later. The secretary and the stranger were likely going to speak some more.
Not venturing further just yet, he remained by the entrance and tried to listen to anything that was being said on the other side.

Watching as the vampire gave Mitsu the box, Poke was trying very hard...not to be attracted to the shiny key. So she focused on looking at something else. Like the door opening and revealing the secretary. Her eyes went wide at being caught in the middle of his office, and she had to wonder if this would merit a detention or something worse. Instead he shut the door and told them to hide in a door behind a cabinet. There was no time to ponder the reasoning for a secret door in a secretaries office, so she quickly moved as directed, slipping into the door and coming out in a very dark hallway. At least it wasn't a small room. Breathing a sigh of relief, she then sought out Mitsu. "Mitsu, you okay?" In all the chaos, she had neglected to check up on her she had been snared by the tentacle. She also saw King, which she held up her hand to greet the wolfos, noting how he...had a bottle of apple cider with him. "....H-hey there, glad to see you made it" she said awkwardly, wondering why he was holding a bottle of the stuff. As for the vampire...she wasn't sure what to do about him, so she just waved. Yeah, best not to step on anyones toes, encase she gave their location away.

Most of everything seemed to blur for the moment. Hell, she wasn't even sure what it was she was doing for the moment. So still she followed after the majority of the students, and their exploration which led to a small cubbyhole of a doorway. It was times like these, she was thankful for being the size she was, as it would likely be harder for the bigger students to squeeze through here, especially with some of their heights.
Continuing down the long dark hallway, it felt as though they were walking straight into the void or something. Was there even an end to where they were going? Maybe it was like what those students of the past had experienced? They went through a maze of tunnels or something. Jack..hopefully they wouldn't get lost too.
Getting the urge to head back, Mei decided to press on a little further, and reached what appeared to be a dead end. Well..great. Now what? Were they to head back?

Jove froze when he saw Arel arrive. No pun intended. But the moment he realized they weren't going to be punished, at least not right away, he scurried to follow the frost demon's direction. But not before gathering his friends! Giving Tybalt and Sparrow a shove in the right direction to get them moving, the little pup dashed over to where Herryk stood like a statue. He grabbed the bigger boil's hand and tried to tug him forward. It was a mere gesture at best, there was no way the pup could move Herryk if Herryk didn't want to move, short of nipping at his heels like a BAD DOG. And Jove had too much respect to do that to his friend outside the arena. Trusting the boil would follow at his own pace, Jove squeezed into the space behind the cupboard with all the other students. His eyes glowed bright and luminous in the darkness as he joined the students at the dead end, like a curious portable flashlight examining the walls. Who needed night vision? Not this pup.

Ho boil. Ho boooooil. Slipping a bottle of cider under his coat as well, Mort allowed himself to get herded in by Shehk into the closet after Alex, Mei, and the rest. "Thanks for being lookout," he whispered to the pricolici as the darkness of the hallway swallowed the students up, relieved only by the glows of eyes and a rather luminous pup. Left hand keeping the bottle against him, he pressed himself against the dead-end wall and, by Jove's glow, tried to find anything out of place there,. They'd found a secret compartment at Red's place - who was today there wasn't one in Arel's?
"Pretty much," he told the dark-haired ghoul in a low voice. "Trying see if might lead elsewhere just in case . . . Ah, thanks for g-giving light," Mort added to the ghost with a smile as he continued his investigations.
