(Hisagomaru is a unique blade in that it changes forms as a result of its own special effects. In its first form it is little more than a small katana with a strange meter running up the flat edge of the blade. After a special effect is used, however, it can be reduced to the size of a small scalpel for a period of time. When released from the blade, it appears as something of a small, plastic, mechanical creature with the same meter in place of its left eye. It can transform as well when using its special effect, opening up its chest to reveal a massive cannon...with obvious intentions therein.)

Drain - When the blade of Hisagomaru (the weapon, which may also be wielded by Hisagomaru if the wielder chooses to let him) touches an ally's wound in battle, it will enact a continuous drain effect which places a Regen 2 on the ally until they are healed, and slowly fills the meter on the blade/eye...
Full Meter - After five consecutive turns of the drain effect, the meter will be full. At this point the devil will transform (or if using the blade, it will glow a terrifying red) and launch a massive blast of red power from its chest like a laser beam that incinerates whatever it touches! Deals Severe Non-Elemental Damage to anyone in a linear path from the attack. Cannot be used twice in a single battle.
Reduce - After using Full Meter, the devil will return to normal but must cool down for 3 turns without action. In these turns, it will slowly Regen its wounds at a 5% clip, and will reduce damage it takes during that time by half. If in sword mode, it reduces to the size of a scalpel and must simply wait three turns until it is restored to normal.

(A longsword with an unusual hook at the end, Raika is a devious weapon that slices and tears at the same time when used against an unsuspecting enemy. Attacks have one of three potential effects, dependent upon which part of the blade the user strikes with...the sharp edge, which deals physical damage...the back side, which glows an eerie orange and deals fire damage...and the hook, which may inflict lesser Phys damage but inflict Bleeding. As a devil, it appears as a man with a powerful black claw and a massive broadsword with a similar hook at the end on the other arm. Vengeful and dangerous, it can vary its attacks in the same fashion as the blade, while adding Dark Damage if striking with his own black claw.)

Vengeful Fire - Raika may cast upon itself two Heat Risers in a single turn in order to achieve its vengeance, lasting 5 turns. But each turn it lasts, Raika must roll a 1/3 odds...and rolling a 1 will force Raika into a Berserk mode that cannot be shut down until the end of the battle (even if he is recalled to his weapon and re-summoned)...raising his offense dramatically while dropping his defense dramatically as well.
