- Back In Control? Time Will Tell! - The tree was finally freed from Gabe's legs as he pulled them to his chest. He didn't even put up a fight when Nick tossed the blood stained swords away from him, Gabe was just happy that he could control every single limb of his body. Gabe couldn't rejoice for long though as he was hit with four flashes of ice that locked him to the ground. Nick's choice might not have been the best move as Gabe was now in an uncontrolled panic. Because if he had waited and gone the talking route, Gabe would have been a lot calmer. "WHAT THE F**K!?" Gabe yelled as the quick drop in temperature burned his arms and legs. "GET ME OUT OF HERE!" Gabe screamed as he managed to break one of his arms free from the trap, as he began clawing at the other patches of ice that kept him where he was.

Dread Dread noticed the panic in Gabe's voice. However, he still didn't know if it was a trick. He walked to the side of Gabe. "How do we know this isn't a ruse? How do we know that you're not the other, much more frightening you?"

"You need to cool it," Zero said coldly, holding his hands towards Gabriel, trying to coat the rest of his body in ice to limit his movements, forcing him to stop, realize his surroundings, and calm down. Zero wasn't sure what to do with this guy, but he knew that keeping him on ice wouldn't kill him, so he had no problem holding him until he figured out what to do with him.
"I'm not letting you go until I know exactly who, or what you are. Look around you! Don't you see all the damage you've done!? And now you want me to let you go? You almost cut my head off, you almost cut both of us in half," Zero said, gesturing to himself and Dread, "and you almost gutted my friend over there," he said, gesturing to Alicia, "so what makes you think I should let you go, just because you're afraid?" At that point, a loud noise and big wind picked up in that area. Zero Alicia and Pixie looked up, and to their surprise, a mass of helicopters and jet-pack sporting troops began descending from the sky. Soldiers clad in blue and grey surrounded the scene, easily taking control of the entirety of Central Park within seconds. It was all very confusing, but the X-Men were quickly confronted by a famous face. Nick Fury.
"Well well well...looks like we have some new faces coming out of the X-Men Academy. I guess M-Day wasn't as devastating as you'd have us believe," he said sarcastically, smoking a cigar. "How DARE YOU! You arrogant, misogynistic, racist..." Pyras had to hold PIxie back after the condescending remark.
"Excuse her, she's a little sensitive on the subject. My name is Pyras, and that is Zero, we're both a little new to the X-Men," Nick was about to open his mouth to object to his membership, but Pyras shot him a look, and he figured it was best to keep quiet to avoid confusion and anyone looking in to his presence there. "We caught this guy on the news and got here as soon as we could. The swords are strong, probably adamantium. Everything we hit him with, he healed from, so he has a healing factor. Other than that, we don't know much that he can do.""Also," Zero chimed in, "He seems to have some kind of split personality. He's in a docile mode right now, but when his voice is lower, you should be careful.""Noted," Fury said simply, brushing past the mutants as if they weren't there, "Wrap him up boys, send him to The Vault, and we'll figure out just what is making him tic..."

- The Vault: Azuriel Returns - Gabe would not be able to respond to Tyler's or Nick's questions as the cold temperature was now shutting down his body systems and he struggled to stay conscious, he didn't want to get sucked back into that world with Azuriel. Nick Fury's men busted up the ice that was keeping Gabe down and started dragging him away from the scene, but they failed to realize how fast the healing could work as the feeling in Gabe's limbs started to come back. The men started to struggle with Gabe as he began fighting back. He managed to get hold of one of their pistols firing into one of the soldier's feet as he elbowed the other one in the face. Gabe started running because that is the only thing that came to his mind at the time, before realizing he had wings. Gabe ran towards his two swords, grabbing them and then taking off into the sky. He didn't get to far though as what felted like a heavy duty caliber bullet ran through his brain dropping him out of the sky. The next thing Gabe knew he was waking up inside of a prison cell, but again he only could see out of one eye.

Zero Pixie and Pyras watched as Gabriel woke up and tried to escape, and cringed in utter horror as the 50 cal. bullet pierced his head. It was a gruesome sight to behold, definitely none of them were expecting such drastic measures to be taken, nor were they ready for the booming echo from the rifle round going off. They watched him drop out of the sky, and they looked away, but Zero glanced back, and noticed the skull already healing. He noted that his was the fastest healing factor he had ever witnessed, and would need to remember that if he ever ran in to him again, though he hoped he would never have to.
"Real secure Fury," Zero said in a dismissive manner, walking right by him without looking back. He was emotionally drained, especially with what happened this morning and almost losing his life twice, and watching all these people die right in front of him. Right now, he just wanted to go home...and then he remembered, the X-Mansion was his home now, and he grew angry.
The girls were similarly distraught, and wanted to remove themselves from the situation before the media decided to bombard them with questions. Pixie opened the portal back to the X-Mansion, and Zero and Pyras walked through it. Pixie looked back at Dread, and gestured for him to join them.
"You helped us a lot today, you want a ride back to the Mansion?"

"I GET UP.." Costello sits in his lime green 80s Nissan Stanza, holding a drink obscured by a paper bag. Was it booze? Who would know, it's inside a paperbag.. "NOTHING GETS ME DOOOOWN.." Loudly he was singing along to the Van Halen hit, Jump. Surprisingly, he wasn't drunk yet, he hadn't started, but it was good that he was already parked outside of his house... For the sake of the fellow drivers, that is.
"CantyouseeIgotmysomethingsomethingsomething.." The P.I hadn't been able to find any work, so he figured it was a good idea to get something to drink and forget about it. Still he kept his phone with him, in case a potential customer called. Although at was probably a bit unlikely, and even if one did called, it'd be a little inconvenient.

- The Vault: Azuriel Returns - "Tisk tisk... Little Gabe! Did you really think you could get rid of me that easy!?" Azuriel said in a mocking tone. Gabe sat up with help from the monster, and quickly his mood got worse. He was surrounded by cells filled with villains that he only saw on the TV in passing. Eddie Brock, known as Venom, was in a near by cell doing a pull-ups. Scarecrow was sitting in the corner of his cell, banging his head against the wall. Maxwell Dillon, known as Electro, was also caged up in a cell across from Gabe. Good thing he wasn't Spider-Man because he would be ripped apart because there were a lot of his rivals in here. Green Goblin, Hydro-Man, Rhino, and probably countless others. So at least he knew he wouldn't be killed in here, or that is what he hoped anyways. The door to his cell then slide open and four well armed soldiers followed by Nick Fury entered the cell. Fury signaled the soldiers who walked towards Gabe/Azuriel with guns raised. Two of the soldier's grabbed Gabe/Azuriel by the back of the arms and lifted them to their feet. The other two soldiers lined up, one in front and one in back of Gabe/Azuriel and walked them out of the cell. Gabe could hear some of the villains yelling different things at the soldiers and himself, but couldn't hear anything clearly. After a few minutes of walking and a couple elevator rides later, Gabe/Azuriel were shoved into a room and strapped to the wall so they couldn't make an escape. Bright lights then came on and everyone left the room, leaving Gabe/Azuriel strapped to the wall. Gabe could make out Fury saying something to his soldiers. "Let him bake for a little bit! I'll get to him later."

((Moving things along so we don't all die.))
Dread nodded and moved through the portal with Pixie, Pyras and Zero. The four of them wanted to get away from S.H.I.E.L.D. as quickly as they could to avoid any debriefing or lengthy and long-winded annoying lectures by Nick Fury. The foursome went through, and re-emerged back in the infirmary of the X-Mansion.
Pixie left the group so she could file an incident report to Logan about what happened exactly in Central Park, as well as to file the papers to make Nick's enrollment in the University official.
Nick and Alicia walked together down the hallway, heading to the upper grounds, but something caught Alicia's eye, and she stopped cold.
"Something wrong?" Nick asked.
"No, I just need to take care of something, i'll have to give you that tour later," Alicia responded, and Nick shrugged, continuing on down the hall. Alicia entered one of the infirmary rooms, and stepped next to the bed. "When did you get here?"

Viktoria had been escorted to one of the infirmary's rooms by the orderlies after Spider-man had stayed behind to give a summary of her injuries to the nurse in charge for that shift in the infirmary of the Jean Grey School, avoiding the opportunity to comment on how she got them. She was grateful for his discretion in speaking to the nurse but wasn't sure that his silence would hold up for her for long because someone would come asking soon enough, which was cause for her to worry. Viktoria had been subjected to a quick surgical procedure to remove the bullets from her shoulder and arm before having an x-ray done to check the state of her ribs. She'd found herself back in the hospital bed before she knew it with her wounds cleaned and stitched up; ice packs applied to her bruises; and slightly groggy from the pain medication she'd been administered. She was nearly on her way to a sound sleep when the door to her room creaked open and she heard footsteps approaching her bed. Viktoria heard the voice connected to those footsteps ask when she had arrived then cracked one eyelid open to find her old friend, Alicia, by her bedside. She yawned as she forced herself to sit upright to speak with Alicia.
"What? No 'hello'? I guess I'm glad to see you too, Alicia."
Viktoria had let a low chuckle begin to slip from her lips but that soon died out as she noted how serious her old friend was. Alicia couldn't possibly have known what happened to her and she wasn't about to reveal the circumstances that led up to what caused her injuries; the situation was just too precarious. Viktoria stared at her friend for what felt like ages as she tried to judge just how trustworthy she was and what version of the story she should get. What version? The false one, of course, she thought to herself as she leaned back into mass of pillows behind her on the bed, tugging at one or two to make a place for to prop her left arm. It's not like she could possibly know the truth. Viktoria rubbed her forehead with her right hand as she tried to think of a story, knowing questions were bound to come.
"I don't know; I don't have the luxury of owning a wristwatch. It can't have been more than an hour since I got here, Alicia. I kinda lost track of time."

Alicia smiled, giggling softly and shaking her head at Viktoria bit her head off. It was a familiar back and forth she had with her old friend, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of deep concern seeing her here instead of...well...anywhere else. It was worrisome, but she had a feeling that Viktoria didn't want to talk about that. That was okay for now, because Alicia had other questions on her mind which had to do with today.
"Okay, okay, hello Viktoria, you look lovely today," she said with a giggle before settling down and putting on a more serious face, "that was you today...chasing the mutant in the alley, wasn't it?"

 "That's much better."
Viktoria chuckled to herself as Alicia decided to seat herself in a chair not too far away. She knew by the question that Alicia asked when she entered her room that she was curious about what had brought her here and it was just like her friend to want to hear the details when something was wrong. Viktoria was almost scared of revealing what had happened because she feared that Kelvin would find a way to make his influence reach beyond the walls of the school and finish off what his guards would fail to accomplish. She tried to act as if she wasn't truly frightened and attempted to distract herself by staring at her fingernails before flipping her hand over to look at the blue skin of her palm. Viktoria knew that Alicia would figure things out soon enough because she knew her so well after having spent so many years growing up together but she wanted to put that off for as long as possible.
"Yeah, that was me. What about it?"

"Nothing...its just...i'm glad I had a hunch, and that I didn't hurt you...even though it looks like someone else did..." Alicia said with a solemn tone, eyeing the various injuries on her dear friend's scared, blue skin. It hurt her too know her friend was in danger, and by the looks on her very avoiding glances and her short, stern answers, she was in more trouble than she was letting on. It was killing her, and she had to ask the question to get rid of the elephant in the room.
"How did your cover get blown?"

Dammit, Viktoria thought to herself as she heard Alicia ask the question she'd been hoping to put off. I knew she'd ask what happened. Viktoria exhaled sharply as she thought about what she could tell her old friend since it was impossible to avoid her question altogether. She stared at the floor by Alicia's feet, not wanting to meet her friend's stare just yet. Viktoria
"I didn't kill Nathaniel Kelvin's son like he wanted me to. You see, Mr. Kelvin wanted his son, Nick, killed because he was exposed as a mutant at the Purifier rally in Times Square. I kept having to stall when it came to killing him and then you guys came in and whisked him away. I had to report back to his office and he...he just...he knew. He'd known I was a mutant all along and he'd had me tested without me knowing. So the man set four guards on me and told them to kill me. I fought as long as I could until one armed guard was left. I didn't know how much longer I would last so I ran."

The Doc Jonathan arrived at the specified meeting place, holding the documents in his hands that prove that all he needed was a sample of Tyler's DNA in order to complete the virus. He nervously looked around, making sure that nobody followed him. Once satisfied that nobody did, he sat down an waited for his boss to arrive. ========================================================= Dread Dread looked around the mansion in awe. He had never been inside such a nice place before. He normally slept in alleys to avoid detection. Suddenly, Dread grabbed his head and let out a scream of pain before falling to the floor, unconscious.

Alicia rested a consoling hand on her friend's shoulder, knowing that having to deal with that horrifying scenario all by herself, let alone her missions she was forced to undergo all these years, must have been incredibly difficult. She didn't know how she maintained this cover all this time, even if Nathaniel seems to know all along. It must have been excruciating to do so much harm to her own kind.
"I'm sorry, that must have been terrible..." Alicia said with a pause, trying to think of what to say next, "if it makes you feel any better, the mutant you were chasing, he's enrolled here, at the University...and he just helped us take down some maniac in Central Park."
