"We have no choice melfina we have to train her and help her regain her memory. Like it or not we saved her and extened her life so we are responeable for her." Light said noticeing they had little choice because the wolves would ggive them away soon enough. Mel;fina returned to her full gorwn size as light jumped on her back. As the flew next to Arciere Light looked around. "Arciere i need to speak with you and sempre. Can we land next to the wolves and speak?" Light asked not looking her in the eyes as a sound of regret came from his voice.

Arciere turned her head away from Light. "I don't want anything to do with you. Leave." she said evenly, not giving Light a second glance. "Sempre, he's here." she called mentally, hoping her dragon would make her way here soon. She didn't want to talk to, be with, or even look at Light. His actions had made a mark upon her, and she had decided that he was a potential enemy.

Master Huntress Munashii Arciere turned her head away from Light. "I don't want anything to do with you. Leave." she said evenly, not giving Light a second glance. "Sempre, he's here." she called mentally, hoping her dragon would make her way here soon. She didn't want to talk to, be with, or even look at Light. His actions had made a mark upon her, and she had decided that he was a potential enemy. "Before you have your dragon come here and start a fight i want you to know i was only trying to remind you and teach you the way i was tought. Also you should know if things do not change this world and everything in it will fall into a point where everything will die. Inculdeing you and her." Light said before Melfina spread her wings so to be ready to fly away should they need too.

"If you're trying to make up for what you've done, you're going to have to try harder than that. Quit making excuses for your actions. I understand that you were trying to teach me, but it's difficult to learn when you go back on something you've been trying to teach." Arciere didn't sound hateful, she almost seemed... thoughtful. Inwardly, her thoughts were just the same. I know this place will die without me... but I'm not abandoning it. Not yet.She looked to the darkening skies. It would be night soon; the sun was waning. Overhead, a dark form appeared. Most likely Sempre coming to retrieve her rider. "I promise that she won't cause a fight with you. I'm just leaving." she stood up on the branch, balancing now with ease and waiting for the silver dragon to come down to her level. "Maybe I'll come back when you swallow your pride and apologize."

"Very well two days from now meet me in a village east of here. If you want a Apologie meet me there i offened you infront of people it seems fitting people see the prince admit to a mistake." Light said before flying off. "Light it is not like you to say you where wrong when you spoke the truth." Melfina said By thought as they flew off into the dark of the night sky. "Yes but neathere of them know what our life has been like or follow the code of a tamer so untill they grow up and learn why we have our rules we must be the ones to stand down from time to time. In time they will learn that i was not lying about being trained so hard. It may take her seeing things that she does not want too but we have no choice. Chances are she will start in the morning causeing her to run into the griffins attacking that family." Light said in thought to melfina.

Arciere nodded her consent. So Light was going to go with it. Good. She reached for a branch higher up and scaled the tree until she came to one of the last branches that could support her weight. "Sempre, this is high enough...?" mentally asked the girl. "Indeed. Rest. You have much to learn tomorrow before we journey back to Draco." replied the steely voice of her dragon. Arciere nodded and folded her hands back behind her head, leaning against the tree and closing her eyes. Her thoughts were tumultuous, wandering. She couldn't seem to focus on one thing, thus she could not sleep. It wasn't until the early hours of the morning that sleep finally let her within its doors, but...
A wild screech brought her to her feet, balancing atop the branch as if it was second nature to her now. "What was that...?"
"Gryphons!" Sempre flew into view, sinuous body writhing in the air and wings outstretched. "Come! There is a group of humans in danger --- this will be your first test!" Brushing past the branches of the trees, the silver dragon gripped the collar of Aciere's cloak and took to the air once more. She flipped her head, flinging the girl up onto the back of the beast. Out in the distance, Arciere could make out the lithe forms of the gryphons that plagued the family. Summoning her and Sempre's power, she inhaled and a dark wood bow materialized in her hands, complete with a black leather quiver filled with ebony-feathered arrows at her hip. "Ready yourself!" screamed the beastly voice of the dragon. Arciere stood shakily and nocked an arrow, taking aim before letting the first one loose. The arrow sprouted from the shoulder of one of the beasts, causing it to screech in pain.
First blood was to the girl.

"I wonder if they know about the other ones that are hideing?" Light thought to melfina as he and Melfina flew over from the town they had spent the night in. "If they did then they wouldn't have shot the arrow." Melfina said back by thought as twenty gryphons surrounded Sempre and Arciere blocking any chance of getting away. "Maybe we should help out." Melfina thought to light. "For now just stay in the clouds. I want her to learn our worlds are different and Sempre needs to learn she has been weakend for her tamers lack of memory." Light thought to Melfina as they stayed hidden in the clouds.

Sempre circled around, stretching her wings and gliding before letting out a fierce roar as Arciere let loose another arrow, this time striking the same gryphon in the heart. It fell without another sound, its body becoming lifeless. "You are swift, Kin of Munashii, but are you skilled enough...?" said her dragon. Arciere was about to reply when suddenly the breath was knocked out of her lungs. She went flying off of the back of her dragon, sinking in the air towards the unforgiving ground. A streak of golden fur and feathers flashed across her vision. Another one? How?!
The beast screeched and slashed its razor-sharp talons across her face, leaving trails of blood as the two plummeted further toward the ground. Grunting against the rushing air, Arciere let a powerful kick towards the gryphon, aiming for one of the vital spots. It simply cawed as if in laughter and wheeled out of the way, leaving the girl to simple kick at an empty space.
"Sempre!" shouted Arciere as she fell. She struggled to bring forth the words that had saved her from a predicament such as this, but her mind went blank. She couldn't bring them to her tongue. She was going to die, here and now, simply because of a fall caused by her not being alert enough. Once again the air was forced from her chest as she crashed into the ground. Blackness closed in on her vision and she blacked out for a moment. The sound of snapping bones rang out into the air. Probably broken ribs. The pain forced her back to consciousness. A shadowy figure descended upon her, and wearily the girl reached out and threw a wild punch. "Do not strike me! I am your dragon!" bellowed Sempre. The dragon shook her head violently, clearing her eyes of the draconic blood that dripped down her forehead and pulled Arciere to her feet with her teeth.
"There are still more. Fight!" roared the silvery dragon as she took to the air again. "I... I can't..." murmured Arciere as she stumbled towards one of the people laying on the ground. They were unmoving, lifeless. Were they dead...? Immediately she was knocked to the ground again as another gryphon moved on to her, its claws making deep wounds in her abdomen. Arciere cried out in pain and pulled one of the few arrows left in her quiver, the rest having been lost when she had collided with the ground. Desperate, she slashed it across the gryphon's face, specifically, its eyes. It screeched in pain as it was blinded and turned about, trying to locate the girl. She stepped back slowly, trying to keep away from its wildly thrown claws. Dimly, she could make out three more forms of the beasts wheeling in the sky, practically flying circles around her silver dragon as they battled. Sempre seemed to be weakening, her wingbeats slower and her attack clumsier than usual. Perhaps she was not as mighty as she thought she was.
Then it hit Arciere. They were outnumbered. They would most likely die if they didn't receive help soon.

Light watched as Sempre and Arciere fought off the griffins only to be nearly killed. after her near death fall light was sure that they had learned there lesson he turned to face melfinas tail end "Now Melfina!" Light said as they flew dow melfina blasting one of the gryphons with her flame and slashing anthere with her claws that came at her from her belly. "Incineration!" Light said as the last around Sempre turned to ash as did the one near Arciere. As they fought it was clear they had trusted each other and been fighting for some time by the way they attacked in perfect synce.
"Lets go see if Arciere needs help." Light thought to melfina before they landed. light jumped off melfina as soon as she was close to the ground. "Melfina shrink down and go check on the family. I will tend too this problem" He said in thought to melfina. "I must say you faired better then i thought you would. Can you speak?" Light asked not fully sure how bad she had been injured. ((I am actualy glad you made such a long post it gave me alot to work with.))

Arciere let out a moan in pain and clutched her abdomen, blood gushing from the wound. "I.. can speak.." she gasped, throwing her head back and tightly shutting her eyes. Sempre? Where was her dragon? "I am well," immediately came the reassuring voice of her beast. "Good," responded Arciere, gulping in air. Her hand tightened as more blood pooled around her hand. Her dragon whirled in the sky and alighted before Melfina, curving her head towards a child who cowered by one wall of the nearby barn.
"I thank you for your aid, whelp. We may not have survived had it not been for you and your tamer." growled the dragon. Her voice was light as a feather, calm and... thoughtful.

"Thats a good sign then at least your alive. Listen i am going to heal you. This will hurt but bare with me ok?" Light said sounding more like he was asking if it was ok. "We did not help because of you that girl may hold the key to saveing this world her life is more important then any of ours. Your temper and recklessness nearly got her killed." Melfina said snapping a bit As she walked around checking on the family while staying out of sight. "If a tamer is effected with a problem such as memory loss there dragon will be effected as well. the only way to get you and her back at your best is to help her recover her memorys not only of this world but her own." Melfina said noticeing family was scared but unharmed.

Arciere let her head hang back limply and replied, "Yeah... go for it..." The world was spinning around her and a wave of vertigo attacked her viciously. She squeezed her eyes shut again, silently wishing that Light would heal her and get it over with. A little bit of pain was nothing compared to Death itself.
Sempre drew back her lips and let out a low, quiet growl. She said nothing in reply to Melfina's biting comment. She was right, of course. The silver dragon lowered her head before speaking under her draconic breath, "Your method of teaching isn't right for her. I know her kind. You mustn't just shove the skills down her throat and tell her to learn it. You must show her and let her figure out the rest for herself." She blinked. Hadn't she been doing the same? Perhaps she had been too hard on Arciere.
