It was tearing Jeromy up to just walk away like he was. But it was what he thought was best for Inari. He wasn't the right type of guy for her. Taking a deep breath he briskly walked out to his car.
Once in his car he sat in the driver's seat and he cried. He cried as if the world was ending. He had never cried like that except for when his mother died when he was just a child. What was he seemingly so attached to a girl he'd just met. He knew that he wanted someone, but didn't expect it to be the first person that came along.
He sat in his car, trying to calm himself down for about an hour before he gathered the courage to go inside again. His eyes were more than likely red from crying; he also wondered if Inari would even want him to be around after he walked out like he had.
Jeromy walked back inside and There was a radio playing in the waiting room and it was playing "Drive Myself Crazy" by N'SYNC. He felt worse because that was almost exactly how he was feeling. He knew that if he let Inari go it would drive him crazy. He slowly walked over to Inari and sat next to her saying, "I know that you probably want nothing of me, but I am sorry for walking out like I did. I just don't want you to pick me if there may be someone out there that's better for you than me." He hoped that Inari understood that he was only doing what he was because he really did care about her and didn't want her making a mistake by picking him.

Inari's eyes were red and puffy from crying over Jeromy. She had just met him! How were these feelings possible!? She heard a voice above her and saw Jeromy. Anger coursed through her. She stood up and jabbed her left hand pointed finger into his chest, "You...p***k! You hurt me! You made me cry! I've never been that hurt, you know!?" she clenched her teeth, more tears seeping from her eyes. "You come back here and say you're gonna leave!? Just like that? I. Don't. Think. So, Jeromy!" she called, her anger melting. Again, like she had an hour ago, she pressed her lips to his, showing him just how much she wanted him to stay.

Jeromy was shocked at her harsh tone; he knew that it was because of him, but he still didn't believe it was coming from Inari's mouth. He heard her call him a name and he wasn't expecting that either. Sure when the guys said things like that to him it didn't bother him much, but when Inari said it, that was a whole other ball game and it hit hard.
He could tell she was extremely angry with him; he was about to back up and walk away. However, he wasn't able to before he saw Inari leaning in to press her lips to his. Not wanting to hurt her anymore he let her kiss him. Though, he wondered if that too was a mistake. He knew that if he walked away again he would just hurt Inari again.
Jeromy was scared to be with Inari because he wasn't sure he'd be the person that she needed. "Are you sure that you really want me? I mean am I really your type?" He asked, breathing heavily after he pulled away from Inari's kiss.

Inari looked at Jeromy, her eyes wide in surprise. "No, Jeromy, I just go around kissing random guys and b*tching at them," she said, sarcastically. "Of course you're my type! And I want to be with you...it's been less than 2 days, but...I just...I can't get rid of my feelings..." she looked down, blushing.

Jeromy looked around at the other people that had walked into the hospital; he knew that he and Inari were causing a scene. He put a finger over Inari's mouth and then lightly pushed her down into the chair behind her.
"Please stop this Inari. Fine I'm your type, but just stop this." He said as he looked around the waiting room. He didn't want to cause anymore of a scene, but he didn't want anyone staring at him. Yes, it was selfish, but he was really nervous about being stared at.

Inari pouted, this wasn't how she expected it. "You know, you're annoying."She told him, crossing had arms. She had just told home was her type and he tells her to sit down! "If that's not what you wanted to hear, you can just go." she sighed. He had kissed her back! She thought he did...

Jeromy was taken aback by Inari's tone yet again and he said in a rough tone, yet he wasn't loud about it, "Fine I will leave. I won't like it but I'll leave." He'd said it. He said he wouldn't like leaving to Inari's face.
He turned and then started walking briskly out of the hospital. Over and over he told himself not to look back. Though it was killing him to just walk away. He knew her for what? Two days? And he already liked her? What was wrong with him? He wanted her to stop him, but he doubted it would happen.

Inari groaned. She wanted to call after him, but she was just called to get her wrist inspected. "Jeromy!" she yelled, runnin her fingers through her hair. "Will...will you go to the x-ray with me? I am...um...scared..." she requested, biting her lip. "Please..." and said.

Jeromy heard Inari and he stopped dead in his tracks. Was he going to keep walking, but he turned back. He didn't think that Inari was really afraid of getting her wrist x-rayed, but he still went back to her and held her left hand. Intertwining his fingers with hers; he hoped that would make her feel better, even if he was really unsure about doing so.
He didn't know what to do other than just stand there for moral and emotional support. All though he knew he couldn't go into the x-ray room with her. He hoped that she would be all right with that.

Inari sighed with relief and dipped his hand tighter. She knew that he wouldn't be able to go to the X-ray room with her, but it didn't matter. Once they got there, she a gave him a peck on the cheek. "I'll be back," she smiled and walked into the X-ray room.
A few minutes later, Inari walked out. "Well, it's not broken, it's a hairline fracture. Sadly, I still need a cast," she lifted he right hand to show off a purple cast. "But, I'm ok." she smiled.

Jeromy mentally sighed with relief that it wasn't broken too badly. Though, it was still eating him up inside that she was even hurt in the first place. "It shouldn't be broken at all...." He replied to Inari once she came back out and told him what was wrong. His voice was giving away how shook up he was at the fact that she was hurt because of him. He was thinking about what Inari's father would say about her wrist being broken and then saying that some guy she knew for about two days was her boyfriend. Anyone with the power Inari's father had scared him. Knowing that even though Inari promised that charges would not be pressed he wasn't going to hold his breath over that promise.

Inari shook her head, "It's not your fault, Jer!" she said,"Jeromy." she corrected, biting her lip. Suddenly, a booming voice was heard. "Inari! Where did you go!? I was raise myself with worry!""Dad, I was with my...boyfriend..." she said, a blush on her cheeks, before Jeromy could say anything. Her father looked up and saw Jeromy, his eyes narrowing. Nari gripped his hands.

Jeromy was listening to Inari say it wasn't his fault and shook his head slightly. However, that was until he heard a loud voice calling out Inari's name. He looked wide-eyed at the man and shuddered in fear, which was strange for him to do so; he was never scared, so why was he afraid now? Then Inari called the man 'dad' and it all sank in. Inari's father was there and he probably knew that his daughter hadn't had a boyfriend.
Seeing the look in Mr. Curneel's eyes Jeromy froze for a second and wanted to bolt. He didn't know what to say or do. He knew that he looked like a bad guy and mostly he was, even though he could be kind. "I'm sorry for causing you grief and worry sir. I told her that she should have let you know where she was." Jeromy said with a straight face, even though he had lied about him tell Inari to let her father know where she had been. As well as the fact that he was terrified of what Inari's father would do to him, no have done to him if it was found out who he really was.
Jeromy was confused as to how Inari's father came to the hospital the same time they were there and it almost felt like something out of the Twilight Zone. How did he know to come to the hospital? Was he already there? Why was he so intimidated by Inari's father? Those were all questions that were drowning Jeromy's thoughts. He backed up and bit and then started walking out of the hospital; his head down. He knew that Inari would be upset, but he just didn't want to face Mr. Curneel's wrath once it was discovered who he really was.

Inari ground her teeth. That boy was leaving again! AND he had blamed it on her! She sighed, "Again, father, I am sorry. I just didn't think you would let me..."she pouted and gave him her puppy eyes, he melted right away. He took her in a hug, "It's ok, pumpkin, just don't do that again, please..."Inari nodded her head. "Ok, well, I'm gonna stay with him a bit more.Bye!" she called before her dad said anything and rushed after Jeromy. She didn't say anything, just got in his passenger seat.
