[Cetalese]

For a moment Cetalese stared in horror as the Green went between, then she was all business. That could be any number of dragons from Trine. She had to return.

She looked up at F'itz and grabbed his arm tightly. "Come with me." She tightened her grip, face serious. "Come to Trine. We'll need fighters and we won't turn away those of Benden. Will you come with Halith and I? Bring your wing, bring your friends. We can use everyone and we will take any riders who need it."

She had to find D'lin, but she didn't want to leave F'itz. Benden.. this was what she and F'itz had suspected. A deeper plot. So much they didn't know... too late.

Cetalesemine! Halith's voice was nervous, and Cetalese was sure that her eyes were reflecting that, whereever she was.

Find Plexith! Ask him for his orders. I'll find you and we will go back and save the others. Save home.

Plexith! Cetalesemine and I ask for orders! Halith said, bugling over all of the sounds around her. Direct us and the others!

[F'itz]

Benden is lost.

F'itz stared up at the green disbelieving; he knew her in passing, but he realised he couldn't remember her name of that of her bondmate. Benden couldn't be lost. Benden was his home. Benden was... Benden was....

And the dragon and the rider were dead.

Brumath cried, his distress and anger broadcasting to all around him. The brown drew himself up to his full height and threw back his head to bellow again, still addressing all dragons and those receptive to dragons around him.

Face grim F'itz clapped Cetalease on the shoulder. "I have to try to save my people. Take care my friend, I hope to see you on the other side of all this! I will join you in Trine if I can to try to push these bastards out!" Not pausing to wait for a response F'itz fought his way through the clamouring crowd to his bondmate. Benden was lost, but perhaps some of its people could still be saved.

D'lin & Plexith
((Attacking the Ancientcrafter, ordering his wing to assemble to return in force))

When the net surrounding the ancientcrafter failed D'lin paused, the death of the green, the words spoke and quickly relayed through the crowd had burned things to fever pitch. "Capture him! He must answer for what he has done!" The bronze rider yelled to those near by and pointed at the Ancientcrafter.

Home was being destroyed but if they left without capturing the ancientcrafter then who knew the trouble that he would come back to cause later. No there was a tunnel snake in their midst and you cut the heads off snakes. Plexith bugled his rage as he caught his riders sentiment's, tempered only when green Halith bespoke him.

'Mine, Halith asks for orders' The bronze relayed to his rider. 'Tell them to assemble and organize, we'll return back in force together. If we go one by one we'll just be easy targets!" The bronze rider answered ...and then rushed the Ancientcrafter, leaving the capable bronze to relay his orders to his wing.

(Tag D'lin)

Z'iv was pretty good at self preservation, and could smell trouble a mile off. When the firelizards started to appear he lowered his skin of wine, and when the green appeared he blanched. "Oh shards." Benden was gone, taken by wherhandlers? He was kind of having trouble getting his head around that, it all seemed unreal.... And D'lin wanted him to try to get a guy that was behind the net of red light that burned things to ashes?...

D'lin was charging at him. He liked D'lin. Spurred on by that, and by a stab at his mind from Zetath, he ran after the bronze rider. " Don't touch the Lights! Let's just get back to Trine!" he cried, trying to grab onto his wingleader's arm. The things big men did when they were angry sometimes really defied belief.

D'lin & Plexith
((Tag Z'iv))

When Z'iv grabbed at his arm D'lin slowed down just a bit "No! Look they're failing" He shouted, motioning to the stage "We can't let him get away with this!" He urged his fellow on - and never before had D'lin so truly want to thrash someone, not a violent person by nature he was none the less quite ready for violence now and pulling away from the blackrider he dove at the ancientcrafter whose eyes were closed in seeming acceptance of his fate.

(Tag D'lin)

"Shaffed Settled Dimglows!" Z'iv exclaimed and chased on after D'lin. Somebody that had planned this so perfectly always had a plan. If the light web was dying he knew it, and he had an escape plan, and he might just have a knife up his sleeve or somebody nearby with a bow trained on idiots running towards him.

Idiots like D'lin and himself.

Why had he decided this was a good idea again?

===============

(Tag any Dauntless riders)

Leaping onto Moriath's back Kleos secured her straps and urged the crimson into the air. "To Malvren!"

the scarred dragon affirmed, reaching out for her riders as she gained height. between home! Be ready for anything, and dive for firestone the moment we appear! They shall not take our home from us!>

[N'mol]

N'mol stared at the stage as the Green appeared and Archimonde made his speech. The Green's blasted thoughts had frozen most everyone it seemed, and N'mol was no exception to that.

Focus, mine! Tyeth snapped. The Green's loss was regrettable, but it shouldn't occupy their thoughts now. There would be time to mourn later-- it was time to take revenge now.

N'mol shook off his shock and turned his head, trying to think of the situation like Threadfall and not the overthrow of his home. They needed a plan. Kindra was still too far from Suunath, but he couldn't leave her unprotected. Without Benden, he would have to go somewhere and keep her-- the other weyrs. If Benden was lost-- and the Green could have been overreacting, though in this case N'mol was not likely to think so-- then going back there would only be leading himself and his wing into death. The other weyrs seemed to have survived so far. They would need hands to save them, to prevent them from ending up... like Benden. Which Weyr, though?

The rivalry with Malvren came to mind, but did that really matter? They had all been betrayed; the rivalry was likely orchestrated by the wherhandlers, too.

Suddenly, movement on the stage caught N'mol's eye. A rider was obviously clear on whose fault this was and was going to do something about it. N'mol wouldn't engage in physical violence with the Ancientcrafter, but he certainly understood the feeling.

Tyeth, find out whose rider that is and what weyr they're from.

Whose rider is it who attacks the Ancientcrafter? From which Weyr do you hail?

[B'nen & Gneisth]
((Tagging Brumath, and K'en))

Benden...lost? He was far from the only Benden rider stricken with shock at the green's announcement...the green's going between. He had grown up there - what about all the people who weren't dragonriders and here, left back at the weyr? What did 'lost' mean of their fate? He hoped those who hadn't chosen the foolish path of following these murderous wherhandlers stayed safe - took advantage of the dragons left to escape. Surely the riders had the greater numbers... It didn't feel like much of a surety right now though.

And he did not seem to be the only one that felt that way. An older brown bugled a rallying cry, for those of Benden. Fight to save their people...and, if they must, fight to save the other Weyrs. If that Master Wherhandler was the one behind all this, truly winning back Benden would likely need the support of the other Weyrs.

[Gneisth and His will come,] B'nen's dragon answered for them to Brumath, spreading his wings and returning the vocal cry.

But wait--the golds--! B'nen's eyes searched for the vocal Kindra and her Suunath. At least one of the pair of twins was in a known location. But if all the weyrs were under attack, where was 'safe'? "Our goldrider should be protected," he said to his twin, K'en. "She shouldn't return to Benden." If there was even a chance rescue of weyrfolk stranded might fail, they certainly didn't want to be handing a goldrider to these...revolutionaries.

Benden is lost! Benden is lost!

Kindra hadn't been looking up when the Greenrider burst out from Between but the second the cry came up she froze. She couldn't believe it, no ... she WOULDN'T believe it... As much as she wanted to get to her Dragon, her rage at Archimonde and W'lin and anyone else involved overpowered that. She fought back through the crowd to get to the Weyrleader but stopped as the Green went Between. It couldn't be true... Benden couldn't be lost to .... to ... Wherhandlers.... Kindra shuddered but the images coming from Patches, who was wrapped around her neck tightly for comfort, couldn't be ignored.

When the Dragonlights around Archimonde spluttered out Kindra knew where she was headed and made a beeline for the Ancientcrafter. She barely heard D'lin's yell, so intent was she on getting to the man that had been behind the loss of her home, where she'd finally thought she belonged. Her jaw ached from clenching but she was determined, shoving past people here and there.

"Kindramine.... we must gather those of our Weyr that are left, we have no time for that...." Said Suunath regretfully in her mind, forcing Kindra come to a stop and pay attention to her Dragon. "mine.... please.... let's get everyone together" she added, more gently this time and Kindra wiped her face, tears of anger and frustration being brushed away. She fought her way back to her Gold who was making sure no one got close to her that she didn't know.

"DRAGONS OF BENDEN!" she called to all Benden riders and their partners "Look to your Wingleaders, if they are not here then look to me!" she offered, trying to penetrate the confusion in the minds of 'her' Weyr.

"Tyeth.... can Yours find Mine? ... please" she said quietly to the familiar Bronze only.

Plexith
((Tag to Tyeth))

Plexith flared his wings and roared in an echo of his rider's fury, it was enough to chase away the holder's who were nearby and clear the path slightly between him and the stage, between him and his fellow Trine riders who were trying to make it to their dragons. 'Get him mine..and then we shall fly to save home with the culprit in tow' The bronze encouraged his rider.

There was nothing the dragon could do but lend this mental support, he was powerless against attacking a human and never before had he regretted this hinderence like he did now. Another bronze spoke and Plexith responded. 'I am Bronze Plexith of Trine and he is mine' The dragon answered.

Panic reigned, Gold's called, Silvers screamed and death hung heavy in the air with the green's passing leaving C'rci and Bolth to watch the dragon go. Something wet dripped down C'rci's cheeks as she lifted a gloved hand to touch her own face pulling her fingers back to find the leather of her gloves wet with tears.

She had been betrayed.

The whers, she'd loved the whers, even as a rider now the whers still held a deep rooted spot in her heart and they had betrayed her. They were murderers the lot of them!

Mine? Mine I'm sure they have their reasons? Not all the wherhandlers must have joined them? Not all. Bolth crooned trying to comfort his distraught rider even as his own eyes whirled with panic as the pair clung together in time. They needed to get back to Malvren. They needed to get as many of their people home as possible to fight.

[N'mol]

Tyeth looked over at Suunath, eyes whirling with orange and yellow. Suunath requests that you get Hers as she cannot.

N'mol cursed mentally and unbuckled some of his straps, standing in the stirrups to see over the heads of others. Where was she? He thought he saw the tall, dark-haired girl fighting through the crowds and sat again, face grim. Other Wingleaders would be doing this soon enough, but N'mol didn't have time to worry about how crowded the sky was about to become.

Tyeth, lift off. Make for Kindra. He tightened the straps again even as Tyeth bugled to clear the air and extended his wings to lift off. It would be faster than sending N'mol through the crowds anyway.

The Bronze replies. Plexith of Trine.

Then it is Trine we go to. Contact the wing. We will go to Trine to defend them as we could not defend our Weyr. Get Kindra first.

Tyeth lifted barely above the heads of the crowds and made the short glide to where Kindra was still stuck in the throngs of people. With a sharp tug N'mol released a strap and swung partially down Tyeth's sides, holding onto his straps to stay in his seat. He reached a hand out to Kindra, who had to have noticed them by now.

"Kindra! I'll get you to Suunath. Come on!"

Dragons of the Dawn Fliers! Gather your riders! We go to Trine to defend our brothers and sisters from the wherhandlers! If there are those not here in our wing, if any are returning to Benden, try to contact the others, but do not land! Do not allow yourselves to become targets for the handlers. The rest, we fly!

Z'fer

"Capture him?! I'm going to KILL HIM!" Z'fer roared, joining the other bronzeriders as they rushed the stage and the waiting Archimond. His anger was fueled by Calanoth as the bronze raged without words, ready to slay every Wher within sight. All reason had left the two of them, no calls to their queen's no rallying of their Wing as Moriath had done, they only saw blood. They would exact vengeance upon Benden, for every murder that accursed Weyr had committed, they would claim another life. Riders, Handlers, all were enemies to the bronze and his rider now.

[Dinah/Dinahsk]

It became apparent quickly enough, as word spread, what had happened. Keller had orchestrated a revolution. He had organized the handlers to rebel against the riders. Dinah's first emotion was indignation: she had been left out! That was so sharding unfair! But it didn't matter now. She gave up on fighting the crowd, and called Dinahsk to her - though the afternoon light pained the wher, she came. Most gave way for the determined green, and those who didn't, she shoved out of her way with as little harm as possible, until finally she came to Dinah's side. The woman took her sash from her waist and wrapped it around the green's eyes.

Much as she would have liked to celebrate, this place was thick with dragons and riders, and it could be suicide to acknowledge her allegiance. For now, she faked it. "Hey! Somebody!" she yelled. "Anybody wanna tell me what the shells is going on? We getting Benden back? What're we doing?"

"Yo! A little help for somebody without a dragon to talk to to know everything that's ******** happening?" She thought, very briefly, about heading towards the Ancientcrafter, whom the riders were clearly attempting to go after, but self-preservation won out. One wher and handler against so many would be completely idiotic.

Suunath was trying to make her way to Kindra but it was hard to pick through the crowd without hurting anyone and she didn't get very far, mostly just managed posing and wing flaring. It wasn't until Tyeth took to the air that Suunath did the same, looking for somewhere less crowded.

Kindra on the other hand was still shoving her way through people when a shadow appeared above, unlike several people around her that scattered, Kindra looked up at the familiar Bronze, she saw N'mol's hand reaching and him calling to her and she stretched up, trying to grab his hand. She had to jump a little before her hand closed on his. At the moment not really caring how 'undiginified' it might be, she just wanted to get to Suunath and N'mol was helping her get there.

Suunath paced the small clearing, making sure that there was room for Tyeth "We follow Tyeth and His, anyone who follows me, follows HIM" she said, her comment audible to all dragons of Benden She worried for her sister, her Twin she didn't hear Kheth but she could just be busy with Hers ... but Suunath still worried, her eyes whirling a multitude of colors in her mixed thoughts.
