Shehk looked towards the door then nodded.
"Yeah. I think I've had my obligatory bathroom-breakdown now. I'll check it off my bucket list or something of 'things to do before you're out of school' or something." she joked.

Jericho just sort of gave a weak smile at that before standing up and offering a hand to help her back up as well.
"Do you need to wash up a bit first..? Either way ah.. I'll be outside."
He might have been remembering he was in the girl's room right now which would make for awkward times should anyone walk in.

Shehk shook her head. "No, I.... I think I'm alright. I was just getting a good cry out in here anyways. Nothing else." she laughed as she linked her arm with his.
"Might as well go investigate our new royalty and see what is going on."
And make Riley disapprove at Shehk being a touchy feely puppy dog.

"Wh-what?! It's just a flesh wound!" The feline shouted as Xiu grabbed her wrist. Then the tuna moved away and- Wait. She saw what was happening here.
So this is what she'd been reduced to. "Alright... Whatever. Just don't blame me if you end up getting blood on your nice clothes."
No, don't put the blame on her because she certainly wouldn't take it. Even if it meant their friendship was on the line.
The ghoul wished she hadn't had that thought.
Wordlessly, the feline stood, only to sit on the counter top next to the sink. She was careful not to use the palm of her foot, though limping along in a dress like this was a little difficult. At the very least she'd stopped crying. This whole situation was good to take her mind off the reasons for her sorrows. Time for more tuna? Time for more tuna.

Good thinking, Sio! She followed Riyo to the sink, peeling off her gloves and temporarily stuffing them into her dress' obi. The first thing she did was wash her hands, and then she carefully took hold of the bakeneko's injured foot, turning it slightly and grimacing. Well, she supposed that it could have been worse, but..
"I'm going to try cleaning this off, okay?" Wetting the handkerchief that she produced from her obi (what didn't she keep in there?), she wet it with a bit of water and began dabbing away the blood. Though her attention seemed to be entirely focused on the task, she piped up with a quiet, "what happened?" after a few seconds passed in silence.
From the tone in her voice, it was clear that she didn't just mean Riyo's foot either, but the whole...hiding in a cabinet and crying deal as well.

Riyo grimaced as she watched the baku work on her foot. This was... Awkward to say the least. Especially in a dress.
The feline had planned on dropping the whole damn thing if Xiu didn't bring it up again, but obviously that was inevitable.
"I um. I got into a fight with Hel." Riyo admitted, her hands folding on her legs. The ghoul didn't want to look her friend in the eyes. Not for this. "Earlier tonight... Mitsu was crying, and Hel blamed it on me because I was with Titus and I didn't try to stop him from saying things to hurt Shun."
Her thumbs began twiddling. She was probably going to disappoint Xiu too. "I told her that I didn't think it was my fault, and that I wouldn't be apologizing. And.. She let me know how much of a disappointment I was. That her expectations had been much higher, and if the shoe was on the other foot, she would've been there for me."
Riyo had to pause. She bit her lip, trying to hold in the desire to cry again. "No matter what I do... I can never satisfy anyone. Not you guys, and not myself."

Xiu said nothing as Riyo spoke, her expression remaining completely neutral. The only indication that she was listening was the fact that she would nod every so often to encourage the ghoul to go on. By the time she was done, Xiu already had the cut cleaned and a new, clean handkerchief wrapped around it as a makeshift bandage. Then, despite the awkward angle they were at with Riyo elevated on the counter, Xiu pulled her friend into a hug.
"You shouldn't always have to go out of your way to try making other people happy," She told her, her ears drooping slightly, "But what I want to know is what makes you happy?" Clearly upsetting Mitsu and Hel was not on that list of happy things--and so perhaps it could be avoided in the future--but what was? Rather than strive to please everyone else, Xiu wanted to know what it was that made the bakeneko smile.
That being said, she was not entirely surprised to hear that Titus had a part to play in tonight's mess. While Xiu was not going to judge Riyo for the fact that she seemed to be friends (?) with the nightmare demon, the baku wasn't going to lie and hide her personal distaste for him either.

Well, Riyo certainly agreed. She had never tried to go out of her way to make people happy before.
No, that was a lie. That was the whole reason she ran her mother's business. In a futile attempt to try and please a woman who was never going to be there again. So in reality, she'd spent almost all of her life trying to please people instead of herself. That's why she wasn't happy. "I.."
Riyo grew silent as Xiu hugged her, arms hesitantly returning the favor for the first time. "I... Don't know. I guess... I was happy before all that." Things had been pretty good before everything started falling apart. "Mot taught me how to jive... And Titus was... Really... Nice to me." As nice as Titus got at least.
"But as for one specific thing, I just... I don't know." She'd never found something that just automatically made her happy. "Everything always seems to have a string attached somewhere.."

Xiu's expression was sympathetic as Riyo told her that she had been happy before all the drama started. The baku herself had wanted nothing more than for everyone to have a good, peaceful time at prom...but she supposed that that had been too much to ask for. Everyone was just too different--of course there would be some clashes of opinion and drama. It just so happened that her own friends had been caught up in such a situation.
But it sounded like she had been enjoying herself before, just doing...whatever. Not dwelling on any thoughts or worries in particular, but just letting go and having fun. Maybe they could...?
"How's your foot?" Xiu piped up suddenly, gesturing towards the recently bandaged foot, "Think you'd be up for something silly with Siobhan and I? We can support you on either side, and we can, um..." She looked over to the banshee, knitting her brows as she tried to recall how Sio had described it earlier, "We can...'tear up the dance floor' with some silly moves!"
There was a pause, and then--for the sake of clarification--Xiu sheepishly pointed to the little crown sitting atop her head. "Let me assure you that I didn't get this for my dance moves. I can't dance very well, but I do it for myself--and to have fun--rather than for anyone else."

At the sudden question, Riyo looked down at her foot, then questioningly back up at Xiu. "I'm sure it's fine. Glass isn't going to kill me..."
But... Dancing? The ghoul wasn't too sure her spirits were high enough for such a thing. "I don't know Xiu... I think I might just be destined to have a sour night." Looked like someone was going to be a Debbie downer.
Wait. How could Riyo have not noticed that crown before? "Oh. Huh. Yeah, well. We had to dance for the school play, remember? I'm quite aware of what your dance moves are like." At least the baku didn't completely smash the ghoul's feet. Speaking of... "Xiu, where are your shoes?"

"There's still time to make the last hour of prom an enjoyable one," Xiu chirped optimistically, turning to grin at Siobhan for confirmation. Her eyes were bright as she bounced back a few steps and held her hands out to the bakeneko. "Come on, what do you say?"
At the mention of her dancing during the play, the baku reddened a little, a sheepish smile finding its way onto her face. Well, her dancing then had been...okay, right? It could have been worse! But as for the question about her shoes...
"I, er. Someone kind of stole them but it's okay! Let's go!"

Well, it looked like she wasn't getting out of it. It was either she return to the supply cabinet of shame or try to end on a good note. Ugh.
"Fine Xiu..." The feline sighed, gently moving to her feet before she splashed some water on her face to rid herself of the tear marks. "One more dance, then I'm going back to the dorms." No more tries after that.
But... Who the hell would steal Xiu's shoes?
Wait... Oh. Nevermind, she probably knew.
"I'll get your shoes back if I see that d**k again." then Riyo locked arms with her demon friend. "Until then, lets head on out."

Sio remained quiet (astoundingly) throughout the conversation. A banshee being quiet was a feat of excellence, really. It was either out of respect, or maybe she saw something shiny and got distracted. In the end, things seemed to have worked out. "Huzzah!" She cheered, bouncing on her toes. "You are free to use my shoes if you are not comfortable. I can float of need be!" Mind you her shoes were 2 inch platforms. "Shall we?" She looped an arm with Riyo's free side and walked with both ladies out.
