Rep felt pitiful as he stood there in silence for a time, head hung low as he struggled vainly to get his emotions in check. The hand on his shoulder kept the room from spinning, but at the same time only magnified his shame. He didn't deserve sympathy, but that didn't change the fact he craved it.
A subtle nod as he met the Sun leader's eyes again, "I understand." It was that betrayed trust which grieved him most of all. Despite what most people thought of him, he was fundamentally loyal, it was simply, that when that loyalty came head to head with stress and rage, it was anyone's guess where the dice would fall. Today had just been the day the odds had failed him. The punishment for that would be whatever it would be, he couldn't change it, only hope that it was either merciful or swift.
Through it all, he didn't dare look at Simon, able to all but feel the other man's presence in the room and mortally terrified that so much as looking at him would result in him being shot. And despite his many mistakes - he didn't want to die.

Jerry said nothing. He looked at nothing, staring distantly at nothing, his expression unreadable.
His weapon remained summoned, clutched in his arms for security.
Finally, his eyes darted to Simon behind his stained glasses, as though waiting for the word to pull the trigger.

What the ******** was wrong with this bottle.
It was lumpy and there was something rattling around in it and how the hell do you open it? Harrison tried twisting the cap off with his back teeth. He was about this close to using one of his trustingly-issued Runic Daggers to saw the side open.
He just wanted a drink.

Jordan stood quietly, not speaking, waiting for a dismissal, or maybe for something else. His eyes flicked between the others in the room, looking last to Rep. For half a moment, the blank mask cracked; raw sharp pain showed in his eyes before he looked away again, composing himself with an effort.

Once it became apparently that none of the trainees were physically crippled, the assistant all but dismissed the trainees and instead focused on Allan. As Jordan gave his account and Rep broke and broke again before them, he simply watched the leader's expression. His body language, and the balance of the normally cheerful voice as it slid into something dimmer. Something resigned but not without hope.
Never without hope.
"Allan-taichou, I think this calls for waterfall meditation." Simon's voice was soft, almost gentle as he began to lead the larger man away, "The trainees will clear this up. I'll speak with Rep tomorrow after I consult my kokoro."
Walking out, he finally spared a glance at Rep. The assistant didn't say anything, but his eyes widened slightly with a wordless rage that asked not if, not when, but how.

There was no bang yet, Rin hazarded a glance. She lifted her head just enough to see... indeed, Rep was still alive. She was so sure this was it. Her gaze shifted about in search of Simon, was he preparing to do the deed now? Should she look away again? No... he was leaving.
She was stunned, even with the look he shot back at Rep... Rep was still alive. For now.

Rep's frown tightened as he finally dared to meet Simon's gaze, only to have to fight the urge to cower at the emotion he thought he saw there.
Tomorrow.
One night with any definite idea of survival.
Maybe he could run, jump in a portal and just never look back. But he found for the first time in his life this didn't appeal, he didn't want to die with a bullet in his back. If there was punishment, he'd earned it. And for the first time in his life, he intended to face it, whatever it was.
He cast a searching gaze around the room, he didn't want to be here, he wanted to get away from all of them, somewhere he wouldn't cause them any more distress. But he wouldn't run. He'd wait until he was sure they were dismissed. It was a bit late to start following orders, but better late than never.

The Sun lead simply let his assistant guide him, muttering something about preparing his bathrobes to help him get into the mood for meditation. There might have also been something else about the path of darkness and fighting against the evils of the world, but this was lost as he disappeared into the closet. Yes, literally.
If there was one thing very, very clear, it was that both of them expected Rep to be at Allan's room, as promised, the very next morning, perhaps to carry out the final verdict on the Sun trainee's behaviour. It was not to be taken lightly: not only had Rep killed a civilian in cold blood, he had directly disobeyed orders. In other divisions, he would have instantly either been ejected, podded, or well, headless courtesy of a very specific weapon.
The teddy bear and the sushi remained entirely untouched. OOC - All trainees can exit as well, or break off into prps as needed/ reflect, though it seems tomorrow morning Rep will have to report back, for better or worse - You get + 2 points for it being a gm PRP and another +1 if your character wrote CUMULATIVELY over 800 words

Tomorrow.
Harrison eyed Simon, once, then punched a hole in the plastic with the knife tip. He got something to drink. Then he put both knives on the counter, next to the colorful rolls of sushi.
Jordan had shouldered the burden of the story, issued the facts. Looked strong, resolute, calm, even now.
Harrison rested a hand on his back.

Jerry wobbled, murmuring something of a goodbye his breath as Roar vanished in a flicker of green light and he caught the torch as it fell. Were they supposed to give them back?
He tucked it in his coat pocket just in case.
Sort that out later.
Keeping his cane where it hung from the empty guitar-strap, he tried his best to walk carefully from the room.
He needed to get away. He needed to get away from Rep. He needed to be clean. He couldn't think. He could barely breath. He needed Sasha.
But Sasha was gone.

Jordan flinched just slightly at the touch, glancing back with something very fragile in his look, though he relaxed just slightly when he saw that it was Harrison. He nodded a little.
He needed to get out of here before he lost it completely. At least Jerry had left already; he wouldn't have to mediate. He looked to Rep again, wanting very badly to go over there and hug the other man; but after he'd all but condemned Rep with his honesty, would Rep want anything to do with him? His hand had lifted automatically, starting to reach out; he let it drop to his side and looked down "Got to go clean up," he muttered, and turned to go.

People were drifting around her. Parting ways to get cleaned up. Right. She'd almost forgotten. She reached up to feel her blood caked hair, stiff like straw. She needed a wash too.
She shot one last look back at Rep, he was still alive - for now... so her worry for him ebbed. Just enough the fury and hurt at the b*****d flickered in her gaze. He might still die. But now she felt she could hate him like she'd wanted. Hate him without remorse for feeling that way lingering about her.
She turned on her heel to follow the others. She needed to wash herself of the whole ******** ordeal.

Harrison watched Jordan's hand drop.
"Here," Harrison said, grabbing a a roll of sushi, which he popped in his mouth and swapped to one cheek, before getting a couple of the neatly-folded napkins.
"For your face, at least," He said around the sushi, handing the napkin to Jordan before he could disappear.
"You too," Harrison said, hitting Rep's arm with the napkin hand.

Rep still felt numb, like he was watching the world through thick glass, his brain sluggish and distant.
He dimly registered Harrison and took one of the napkins, eyeing it as if it were some alien object, as if he wasn't sure what to make of it.
"Thanks."
He eyed the door. "I should..I should go."

"I - thanks, yeah," Jordan said, and swiped the napkin at his face. "Thanks ... " He looked up, glanced to Harrison and then to Rep. "I'm - going to shower. Come back to the room?" He couldn't keep the pleading edge out of his tone.
