Macthor was probably the most sensible--and most poker-faced--of the three Thor-bros. When it came to any sort of conflict, he typically preferred just standing back and observing. The fight with the reaper, his invitation for the students to follow--Macthor's expression had remained as impassive as ever when he and Akithor had stood back and watched these events unfold. Truth be told, he had no interest in joining any of the factions, anymore. After all, none of this really had anything to do with him, right?
The realization that this did involve him didn't hit him until he received a text from the other Thor-bro.Quote: Text to Macthor: bro i love you bro always chill ps check ur mail there is foto of us bro For a second, the impassive expression on Macthor's face broke--his lips tugged into a frown, his brows knitting together as worry flashed through his eyes. While Westhor had never been shy about telling his bros that he loved them, there was something about his text that made him a little uneasy.
Macthor always told himself that he would never purposely throw himself into danger, but he now realized that that wasn't true. Maybe he didn't really care too much about the school itself, but there were some people--and two in particular--who he held near and dear to his heart, even if he never outwardly showed his affection.
He snapped the phone shut and tucked it back into his pocket. "Yeah, bro," He jerked his head forward, indicating that they should move forward, "Let's get going. I'm right behind you--"
He cut himself off at the sudden arrival of a ghoul. Oh, she was...uh, whatshername, right? He stood back patiently as she exchanged words with Akithor, figuring that letting them chat for a little bit was harmless, but when it sounded like his bro was actually considering going back for a game...
"Hey. We'd better find Westhor, yeah?"

Woah! All of the sudden this party just got bigger. Vel was a little surprised to see a few of them really. Though, the news they brought definitely did not sound good. "Bah. I knew he was up to no good. Hypnotized? Really? Jacking hell. We need to find out what's down here. It has to be something big if someone like that is after it. Do you know what's happening to the ones that are staying with the Reaper?" Probably not, but it was worth asking.

CRICKET "My point was that the comment was an umbrella statement and you shouldn't be offended by it." she pursed her lips, tapping her fingers into the crook of her elbow. However, it seemed that Ren offered up some interesting information.
Devil damned tag team? That was curious.
"The hair and s**t? So was it a futakuchi-onna, then?"

"Sounds like ya'll had a bit of an adventure with the reaper-man. How many went with him?" he inquired.

Second chapter? ******** IT. SKIPPING TO THE GOOD PART.
There was a clear stamping sound preceding the golem's eventual arrival to the congregated, and the sight of the barred entrance made her snort like a bull ready to crash some fine china. "SERIOUSLY?" she snarled, throwing her hands in the air. Freakingsonofawitchjackdamnedforsaken - adlkfjsdlfjlsdjflsdjflkdsfj.
Breathe.
She espied the zombie ghoul and immediately marched over with an imperial, maybe even desperate finger pointing at Ashly's chest. "Don't. Ever leave me. In the dark. Again. Please." And then Callie let out a long sigh and stuck the sword in the ground, wiping at her forehead. At least she was there.Face your demons For if we have time for them to chat~

"Oh. You're looking for Westhor?" she said in a small voice. "You should... keep doing that then!" She tried to sound as perky as usual, but the attempt fell kind of flat. Luckily, even a flat attempt at perkiness from the ghoul was still at least 60% more perky than the average.
"I'll... leave you to it!" She turned away from the pair, her arms wrapping around her middle in a comforting hug as she stared into the darkness. Before she left them, she turned back. "Be careful."
And then she was gone.

When Argyle emerged to find the others, he put on his most smug of smug faces, hands on his hips, and called out in a loud, clear voice.
"Excuse me, everyone! I'm sure you've all had a grand time adventuring and directly disobeying those signs that we spent so much time on, but I have been specifically appointed to tell all of you to clear out. That's right, sheeples, game's over. Turn right around and head back to your dorms and think about what you've done. But if you're having a really hard time thinking with your really confused brains, I can spell it out for you: you did the wrong thing. Again."
This was going swimmingly!

Tarot was worried. Should she really have left her brother like that? From what she could tell, it would only be the three of them and the reaper was strong-- no. Professor Quibble was strong too. They would be alright.
She was silently panicking inside her mind as she wandered around.

"Some kind of ghost or something, looked like," Ren answered. "Her hair was all tangled around everyone's feet. I saw her for half a moment when I shook loose of the effect. The way she smiled - " His ears flattened back in discomfort. "She didn't have our best interests in mind, that's for sure. I didn't stick around to find out what was going to happen next." Cricket was asking him a question. Cricket was asking him a question. "Uh, n-no, she looked more Greek than Japanese," he said, and cursed himself silently for the crack in his voice.

Right. They'd lost sight of their other Thor bro. Giving an unusually stern nod to Macthor, the ghost boil looked back to Oinqa to respond. "The game can wait, yeah. Going to find the troublemaker." Maybe it could wait. Maybe. More like it had to under circumstances that he didn't completely want to engage but- it had to be done. His bro would have to pay him back somehow for finding him- again. "C'mon, the longer he's alone, the more blubbery he gets." Akithor headed into the cave, meeting with an end. Whoops... this might have been better if he had a piece of paper to write out all the turns it took from last time.

Rengath didn't bother hiding his shudder. "Yeah, no kidding. She might have been waiting for us." Looking over at Tex the demon nodded, as Ren spoke. "Yeah, She was just.. like a ghost, not a futakuchi-onna though? Like...Fully transparent, but singing like a siren all nicely. I just saw her for a second but, there was definitely some ghoul with him. I wasn't feeling to cozy with the guy to start with, but when that ghoul popped in? Jack no. No idea what's happening back there; you seriously think I want to stick around a guy who kicked my a** the first time? They're probably still there, happy as a harpy."

Vel sneered at the very thought. This was some pretty messed up s**t as far as she could tell. What in the name of Jack could that Reaper want with them? Was he just trying to get rid of those in his way? It was hard to say. "We might have to try and see what we can do about them once we're through here," she frowned. Even if they were walking into their own doom, they were still Amityville students. The Defenders needed to watch out for them.
