Regent let his Gold eyes settle on his woman, so kindly as she spoke-and just as she did he felt something...things- that was oh so vary familiar.
Some more Dreadfully familiar then others, and at that he swore his lower side ached just a bit as the second entered the bar.
His bright eyes rose fallowing Risk as she stood. His left hand reached up to grab her own, firmly-but gently. Looking up at the islander, Regent's gaze tighten just a tad, as if to remind her of their business and why they where there.
Information, and Costumers....
Though a breath soon released him, from his stern face as it softened with understanding.
Hearing the second approach, Regent straightened from his chair as he took a step closer to Risk his left hand rose to rest on her upper forearm as his other opened wide to gestured to the new commer who approached. Standing more prominently at Risk's side, and behind her-Regent put on a smile as he greeted the other.
"What hath fury dosth tho cruel fate have tarrying for tee?" Regent guestured a hand to himself, and what luck he seemed to have.
All at once....
The 'lucky barter' raised his hand and guestured to the ceiling.
"And thus the clouds opened up and a with a great resounding sound, thy sky drew dark the thus thy heaven shat heavily on me." His hand suddenly dropped.
"Exclaiming: 'there is your luck, good sir!" Regent still wore his smile as his gold eyes marked upon the shadow of eyes.
"Care for a game, fair sir? Perhaps your luck fairs better then mine." The other invited his lips parted in a Cheshire smile as he then gestured to the table, his hand firmly upon Risk's still. Leaning his head closer to Risk he spoke softly to her ear.
"If you could, we do have have some information for her..." The Merchant spoke, to her ear before raising his head from her-but only after giving her a wink-trusting she would know what he meant and by how much.

"None taken. I'm used to such mistakes happening. No dents occurred I hope? " Ah...that was right. These ancient sentinels had pride issues and were always arguing who among them guarded the better pilot. He paid Atelius' prattling as old man talk -- thus choosing to ignore it completely-- while he politely thanked the other human for the glass of wine. Glancing down at the bird, he snorted as two of the fingers gently directed the base of the crystal challis in a lazy spiral. " It's good to see you too. " The free hand of his came down to brush the birdbrain's crest feathers in a forgiving gesture. They would certainly have a talk later on about what had happened and Talon would figure out a way to prevent such a thing from ever happening again.
"Of course, I don't know where to begin. " without telling everything that happened... too many ears, and I know I could trust you, but... I'd rather not. . Amazingly, Talon took a sip of the wine without knocking the happy dino on his head off. Not really the kind he liked, but it wasn't the worse. Tasted better than that stuff served at banquets anyways.
He gaze shifted from the glass to the host, "Let's see, Moe and I were exploring one of the old ruins when he managed to get ourselves into a rather tricky situation. Found an old pressure plate that cause quite.. um.. fun times to happen. Plaster floors over delicious spikes, falling ceilings, water traps with electricity, rolling boulders, mechanical squids... It's a bit hazy " Moe let out a bark of agreement, not really wanting to add more to that. He wanted to say there was this nice lady that helped them, but that wasn't really his place. That little stump of a tail wagged back and forth. Tacker eyed this dinosaur like it was the plague... It had been around when The Stick came down and defeated him. " Oh, the squids have little laser beams on the end of their tentacles. And they don't like... mechanical birds... "
He wasn't quite done with the story, as there was Tacker and the final temple to go over and edit out stuff. " That one was a break from unintentional diplomatic associations that proved positive to our allegiances. I seem to be cursed when it comes to exploring ancient structures; I gain mechanical companions and attempt to get killed at the same time." Or in this case, wind up exiled because some stupid old liger decided that there was something in the desert he needed to find. "I'm currently looking for something. I don't know what it is, but an old ZOID is leading the way. . . . "
Talon's eyes took on a distant quality as he thought about what he should probably say next. He was quite sure that the two off away would pick up his story and find the flaws and lack of forthcoming information. It really wasn't their business, since all the information he told was true, but they would probably sell it for a price should anyone come around asking for him. He left a mental note to see if he couldn't raise the price should any imperial loyal came around asking about him. . . The gut feeling was that it wouldn't be good if he was found before he found what he was looking for.
"Well, that was a shorter story than what I expected. "

"Oh?" Blitz spoke to Kreig's words as his hand raised from the set bottle, it moved to groom at his beard. His hand moved down it, petting it down before his finger tips moved to the tip and twisted it tryingly. Admittedly it was a sign of him being once more 'relaxed' to have his partner back and safe.
A little chuckle escaped the male, at the tugging words of Kreig and claim. He then nodded his thanks to the raptor and the retrieval of the cards.
"Such amusing companions." Blitz then answered to Talon and his 'friends'. "And no doubt one utters a language known to you. " The patched man nodded, quite a fine.
"Never shall you be lonely." He grinned, only to let his eye cast it's self to the side at the three who entered the bar.
One...two...he was surprised to see, so much so it caused a single brow to raise before his sight moved back to Talon and his words.
That was interesting.
It taunted his thoughts to pour himself another drink...
Though, he had already had 'too much', but with the 'reminder' of this place...it was so vary tempting. A unspoken wish to bring back good times with a old friend. A sigh left the partly blind man, before his eye shined over with that familiar coldness as he looked to Talon...
a pity wish, and was childish to think of. He purged the thought to the back of his mind, as his finger tip moved to tap his lip. A curious thought to Talon's words.
"That is vary. " The Pilot paused. "Ah, what was his name...." Blitz spoke still vary clearly, regardless of the drink he had. He took pride in being able to handle such...
"Indian dones?" He asked, as his hand shifted to gesture to Talon, if he maybe knew what his thought was trying to grasp.
But he quickly fanned it of with a wave of his hands, silly earth thing anyways....
"something about a 'gold idol', and a doomy temple..." He mumbled and shook his head, such a strange idea-and something another wouldn't pick up on. He after was a bit buzzed.
"Ah, what ever." Blitz's single eye rolled to himself. Where was he going with that? Perhaps, he did have too much of the red wine.
"though still, vary Intriguing..." He answered, "A man, best have his quest-or he gets board with idle hands...." The Poet spoke with a shrug.
A quest and a ethos....
Leaning back in his chair, Blitz's ear couldn't help but have been tugged by the exclamation of the white haired man. So much so, the deceleration cause one of Blitz's finger tips to his inner pocket to retrieve his pen. His other, moved to the journal on the table, and opening it up he in -vary- neat calligraphy wore down the heard words.
"A good story isn't build upon the size of it's words, my friend." Blitz answered as he closed the book carefully before capping his pen and slipping it away once more. Freeing his hands, they moved to the deck of cards, unpacking it-his hands moved at shuffling the wore-but still vary usable paper.
Chase, always did love a good game of cards.
The smile on the male's lips faded just a little.
"So prey tell..." Blitz spoke clearing his throat as his eye looked down to the moving deck in his hand.
"What compels you to seek for that you don't know?" Masters' curiosity asked, as his teal eye rose once to the man across the table.
"A troubled mind, searches for something-so it doesn't have to dwell on the fact that it is -indeed- troubled." He had letting his 'cyclopes' gaze make a glance at the woman at the bar before returning to the cards as he dealt them out.

Kreig took his stance along side Blitz after he had handed over the nostalgic deck of cards to his friend. Ah, his buzzed friend. Kreig's claws flexed as he gave the wine-happy poet a long side glance at the humans contemplation of pouring more wine. Oh, he would prevent that in a heart-beat.
Speaking, card games! He did love a good games of cards. Or so, he thought he did? His 'feathers' pricked upward as his eyes drew to the cards.Strangely, he remembered playing them with fleshy hands. Another memory from another body not his own.
It probably would be cheating to have him dealt in though, with his stellar poker face and all...
Atelius preened at the welcome petting from his most superior master. "Feathers" Preened as he felt his brilliant, and quite shining, display was an ode to his master's true brilliance.
"Short, but well told master." Atelius assured Talon with his puffed chest.
Though, he couldn't help but admire the beautiful words of the poet across the table. Green eyes flashed as a physical representation of this. "My name is Atelius good sir, and I must say, you are quite skilled at how you use your words." Though not nearly as good as his godly master...

Quietly he watched and smirked at the mentioning of something about 'Indiana' and 'temples' . "Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark? " he guessed from the meek description. At the time, he hadn't really though it had been like one of those old earth films. Maybe that is where those crazy engineers got their stupid security devices... From old movies.
The planet was doomed.
The idle and calming act of shuffling and reshuffling cards caught the artist' eye. It brought a small smile to his face. While he wasn't really one for cards, he liked the mindlessness of the practice. As worn as the cards were, he guessed they had seen a lot of stress. Atelius' words brought a quirked brow and rather strong urge to smack. He could tell the after thought and it wasn't proper in public. Private, maybe, but here...not so much. Too much was at stake out in the open.
Tacker clicked his mandibles and skuttled back over to perch on the human MRZ magnet's shoulder. Ignoring this, Talon had to shrug with one shoulder, " I don't know why. Only that I must. And yet, I don't wish to find it. Alas my curiosity has been sparked, and I need to know what it is " He said finally with a small sip of the red. " I hope only that I end up with everything mostly intact in the end. Or what's left of it. "
His gaze fell heavily upon Regent and the islander. Alas, he couldn't bother them out of politness now that there was someone that seeked their attention. He would have to wait to buy their silence... Though..what would be the cost of it he pondered absently.

"Ah!" Blitz's head bobbed in a nod, "That's the one." He grinned, ah old movies on the vid, it was amazing that they where still around, really.
"hmm, curiostiy is a funny thing, friend." Blitz spoke as he dealt out the rest of the cards. "Lucky you are not a cat, or a name similar" He answered, letting eye fallow the little favored spider. Damn, he loved that little guy.
""becareful you might loose a eye..." Mischeif chuckled cruelly to himself, as his eye closed briefly as if to show a wink. Oh God, he had a little bit to much to drink....He knew it, and he didn't give a flying-
"Poker?" Blitz asked, letting his eye open he tossed his chin a little to bob some ebony hair from his face to see Talon a bit better, and to keep a eye still on the surroundings.
Seeing Talon's eye shift over to the nosier table, Blitz shifted himself in his chair a bit to look over at the other table better.
"Hmpth." Left him, as he let his eyes move from them to the more interesting sight at the bar. Closing his eye he paused and let his foggy mind look back to the worn playing cards.
Blitz stubbornly dealt his metallic friend in, he did love a good challenge and he did note on how Kreig reacted to his first master's deck.
"Let's see if you have the same tell..." The simi-blinded smirked as he looked to his dapper raptor.
As the Bird, excuse him-that was rude. Atelius looked at him, and addressed him, Blitz raised his eye to the feathered Friend.
"Atelius," Blitz perused in a hum, " I share your greeting." He sighed, and then smiled a bit more at the complement.
"Words are a wonderful vast concept, I am only a lowly puppet to their strings; their pull of rhyme, and whimsical things." He answered to the bird.
"How could I not be provoked to utter such a profound weapon to the soul. Empires have been destroyed with that of a single word and Worlds created with the confident shot of lone syllable. If existence couldn't help but shutter to such-who am I to keep it from welling up inside me?" The Poet asked rhetorically.

Kreig subconsciously perked up as he was dealt into the game. The feathers on his head rose their full length. Azure eyes watched the cards be shuffled about the table. It had been so long since he had played a good game! Oh, but how annoying that bird was! His feathers lowered with the turning of his head to the annoying metal foul who, much to Kreig's satisfaction, seemed very agitated about something.
"Sometimes the best results come from the roads unknown." Kreig added his two cents with a shrug after he turned his attention to Talon.
Atelius ruffled a little at the response he received from Blitz. It was well spoken! But, surely his master would have better words to speak, top those words with ease. Talon was a far superior human after all. The bird was too distraught as he waited for Talon to respond to do any responding himself. The beak was pinned shut as his eyes shifted to his great master.

"Really, 'The Last Crusade' was the better one out of that three. " He smiled, shrugged and mentally winced at how close those old buildings were to exactly that kind of film. Moe let out a coo of agreement. It liked that one! That one had fun things in it. Talon found himself smirking, " It all depends on if the prize is worth the cost. I just need to figure out what the prize is. So far.. " a hand waved and he shook his head, "I've resigned to getting screwed over. Doing the right thing gets you labeled a traitor I hear nowadays. It really is a wonder any side has a standing army."
A sip of the wine was taken in. Talon forced his mind to ignore the bitterness and savor the fruity, elegant blend. Poker? " Hm? Sure. Don't ever really play it, but I'll give it a shot. Can't be running around the desert like a drunk skunk, now can we? "
Even so, he gazed down at the bird and very much wanted to punt the ancient sentinel across the room. "A wise man knows when to shut up, and how to be humble. You could learn something from that. " He then pointed to Blitz, "And stop encouraging him! " Tacker clicked in a slightly disaproving manner, mainly because he wanted the game to start.

"Hmm." Blitz answered to the comment about the movies, he would have to see that one. If he could find it, and any free time that might come with it-after all with things picking up from him, Work wasn't slowing down.
"It always does." He added, releasing a sigh before his teal eye shifted over to Kreig. What was the cost, and was it worth it?
"so, you -were- enlisted?" Masters thought to ask as he mention resigning to get screwed over....that was something that just never happened. Someone was always getting screwed over.
"Now, that just depends..." Blitz spoke raising his hand to point to the idea of running around drunk. He paused as his finger returned to his lips. Hmmm
"is clothing optional?"
That could be fun....
Nodding to the confirmation of poker, Blitz dealt in the rest of the cards and put the deck in the middle of the table.
Letting out a genuine laugh, it could be heard across the bar.
"Though a well spoken man, can still be taken for the wise-and really be a fool that just likes to talk." Blitz answered, and then raised his hands up and palms out in a grin as Talon pointed at him.
He couldn't help but chuckle.
"But one must be brave enough for the journey." Masters then mentioned to Kreig.
"Or just -really- Drunk...." He laughed in his words.

The other pilot may have been a strange magnet for the even stranger mechanical creatures, but did he ever have good tastes in classics. Kreig, or Chase rather, had always like the Doom Temple himself. It just seemed to be filled with more adventure. Though, the Holey Grail one was very close behind that.
"Well, if you could find me a suitable hat... until than I'll just have to stick to the nude option." Kreig shrugged before pointing a claw at Blitz. He couldn't help "Though, I do not believe it would be wise to be waving your pasty tuckas about. That bull over there might get ideas... with that in mind I would also advise against getting too drunk."
Atelius' feathers flattened a moment at the response he gotten. Of course his pilot would have known such wise wisdom! Oh, but why would he- The bird opened his beak to protest and further praise his master, however the small glisten from the spiky organoid from across the way finally got his eye. Feathers bristled once more before he hopped to the other side of Talon to 'hide' himself from the true ancient organoid.
His beak clicked a few times. What was Primoris doing here?

The bird had moved sides and seemed to be pressing against a leg, peering at something. Talon pretended not to notice, but he did switch hands to comfort the upset Seeker. Later, he would ask what it was about and what the bird saw and knew. Something that upset the bird that much usually meant ancient organoids or massive flocks of scary things controlled by the 'Great Mother'.
With a sip of wine, and a smirk on his face, Talon figured he'd indulge in the question, "Drafted, actually. " The draft wasn't in effect, he'd probably have to really explain why he thought of his sudden rise to no real freedom as such. "They have it filed under ' Programme Promotion'. " Anything more and he'd have to be bought for information to flow freely. Though this wine was as good as any, there were too many ears. As smart as Master's was, the man would figure out eventually that he was apart of some elite squad the Empire had. Now which squad it was, that might take a bit of digging. Talon took some comfort in that.
Moe, the dino, wiggled and flopped down into Talon's lap to curl up for a temporary nap, and to chatter with Atelius. Or would, but it got the same odd vibe from something in the room. The little monster blinked and decided to really indeed take a small nap. It curled around once or twice before 'napping'. By now, Talon was picking through his hand and had to admit, his luck really sucked. It brought a smirk to his face.
Something about 'clothing optional' hit his ears. Wait, what? " Or accepting whatever fate brings their way. " The man must be drunk. Really drunk. And here was Talon who scarffed down an entire bottle of Vodka and still suffering from a slight buzz... Some men just couldn't hold their alcohol.
Tacker took it upon himself to steal those cards cast aside by Talon one by one and look at them. This game, it knew this game. It pulled out two of the cards, dragged them away to make a discard pile, and nabbed two from the dealer's deck. The human looked too drunk to do anything, and its current human didn't seem to mind that it was suddenly playing the game for him.

"Is that so?" Blitz spoke, as he looked about his cards a sigh left him. Draft, could it being a family tradition be label under 'Draft'.
"Upper class, eh?" He then added putting three cards back into the pile, and drew three more. His steel gaze drifted about the cards as another sigh prused his lips as Krieg spoke.
As tacker moved to the Deck and drew two new cards for Talon, a little chuckle left Blitz as single eye left the spider to return back to his hand. His steady hand moved the cards about in his hand, before they folded them together. So no prying eyes could see them.
"Perhaps.." Left Blitz, as his single gaze moved back to the others in the bar. How many of the people around them had interesting surprise, that was carried to them via complements of 'fate'.
"We will have to get you that hat then, Krieg." Masters spoke the Dino, he of course wasn't drunk-but he didn't need to be to go out streaking if he wanted. He did consider his body a work of art after all.
"And yes." He then hummed. " we wouldn't want that..." The male spoke....

Kreig examined his own cards a moment, before shifting his own Azure gaze to what seemed to be plaguing the birds mind. A small shutter reverberated through the organoid's frame as he made eye contact with the black shadow. Interesting. There was some odd connection... what- oh right, they were playing a game.
"yes, I would need a hat. Possibly one of those ties... fancy one." As the others, Kreig exchanged two cards and gave his hand another look... and still couldn't help but give the other organoid a side glance. Something familiar.
Atelius looked up to Talon, craning his neck a bit so he could be as close to his master's ear without hopping on the table.
"S-sir, that's one of the dre..." he stopped to looked at the other two 'guests' at the table. "you know who's children..."
His beak clicked again as the possessed seekers did to call for back up. A habit just recently brought to light by his recent mind trip.

He resigned his cards to the hand of the spider. Upper class? An eyebrow rose and Talon laughed. Scratching at his neck he shrugged, "No. I am far from that bunch. My blood is too steeped in metal and oil to be one of them. "
Curiosity pulled at him, and Talon took a quick look at his cards. Somehow that spider knew what it was doing. He was mildly impressed...Machines had all the luck it seemed. "Took work as a scrapper to get through education, then ended up drafted after landing work in the city once the Battle Commission folded. " he added to clear anything up. Most of that was on his public profile and no doubt folks knew all sorts of things about him on either side.
His gaze lifted to the dino in thought. Indeed Kreig would look quite snazzy in a hat. Perhaps one of them bowler hats would do nicely. But it wasn't his place to find such a thing. He had one more mechanical thing to look after back at base. Cuddles was no doubt causing chaos in the bunks.
"There is nothing wrong with getting drunk, " Talon smirked, "So long one has mind to keep their head. "
(editadd)
He did pick up what Atelius was saying and gently brushed his fingers over the metalic feathers. Talon figured as much, but he couldn't do much about it for now. He clicked his tongue under his breath. This...complicated things. Not by much, but he did cast a side glance in the direction to pick up the details. "Shh... " he muttered a bit louder. Well, this was 'neutral' ground...right?
