Yuriko's mind seemed
to retrace their steps, carving
out an obvious path in the not-
so-obvious shrubbery. She managed
another sharp turn, gliding swiftly among
the trees and vines that stood stubbornly
in their way. Yuriko's breath came in
short bursts as she rounded a corner,
Kuzaki's voice making home in her head.
Something about going to the school nurse.
It made sense to her, to go to a person
who was specialized in treating wounds,
whether mental or physical. She was
still shaken up from the event that took
place just moments ago, so it would in fact
be a good place to calm down and sort out
her thoughts. Strangely, Kuzaki did not seem
fazed by the entire thing at all, simply fretting
over her when she was in danger.
An innocent
blush crept up her cheeks when she thought
that perhaps Kuzaki was paying more attention
to her than the monster. Laughing inwardly,
Yuriko simply pushed the ridiculous thoughts
away, becoming focused on the task at hand.
Slowing only briefly to remind Kuzaki to turn
right, she responded, "Yes, it would make
sense to see a doctor. Unfortunately, I happen
not to know where that is here... D-do you...?"
Yuriko's voice was small then, fragile, like a
small child asking permission to go play with
friends.

======= ☠ ======= His jaw dropped at the absurdy. How... How in the so called dimension thing crawl into the labyrinth? He wanted to snap at the man but gave up to find what the hell this thing was with his crystallized wand. He doubted it was an alien thing but if it was, he was going to challenge the Brightstar brute. Lucian turned his heel from the winged man, WANTING HIM OUT OF HIS SIGHT. Better to see who ever this was-
A young man with black spikey hair (Faust), was in his way, with a lost look on his face. Lucian heaved a long sigh and gave no warning as he created a pit underneath the young man. He walked over to the pit and looked down towards the pest with a frown and crossed arms. Annoyed he was as he tapped his foot with impatience. "You. What are you doing on Academy grounds?"

LEE.N.KLee felt reassured from Parrot's cry, but especially from Ryu's. She was terrible, at times, at motivating herself. It was hard to gather courage over, and over again, to keep hoping and dreaming, even if it is false. Her eyes shifted to glance their way, a slight nod from her. "ALRIGHT, you!" She slid her left foot on the graveled dirt and smiled with delight and frenzy. "I've had enough of you, it's time to take you down!"
LEE.N.KSuddenly, the same red air surrounded her again, just as it had in the classroom. The burning aura Lee was emitting grew steadily, her eyes closed now. She was concentrating. Her breathing slowed and she took deep breaths. Lee had to focus. Okay, Lee. Ellise. Calm down. Keep a cool head- you've got this. She continued her breathing exercises, the cube's lips curving to smile at the female as it made its move. "Hyaaa!" The figure's katana was flaring with blue flames as it charged towards Lee.
LEE.N.KThe world grew silent in Ellise's mind: everything was still and silent. First: relax the body and pierce the heaven and earth. Second: calm the mind and take a deep breath. Third: focus the sight far beyond infinity. Fourth: do not simply hit the target, become one with the target.* She drew her sword into the air, blue flames engulfing it. "ARGHH!" The girls clashed, swords meeting head to head, burning azure. They stayed in position, trying to overpower one another with brute force. "Hraaaaaaaah!!" The figure's feet were sliding back, digging up the dirt behind its heels. Lee continued pushing on and on, both sweating and giving it their all.
LEE.N.K"Impossible! You can't defeat yourself!"
LEE.N.K"Nngh!" She took a step back, struggling to press on. Lee's knee hit the ground. Kneeling, the girl lifted the sword up and thrusted it out of the figure's hands. The flames dispersed and the katana flew up into the air, then falling and piercing into the earth behind the imposter.
LEE.N.K"That's not the goal...!" She stood up, a breeze blowing lightly, rustling her hair around and to the side. "You are me... in a weird sort of way." She paused before adding the last part, holding back a laugh. Lee smiled at her reflection, threatening it by holding her katana parallel to the ground. "There is no defeating you. I just have to accept you."
LEE.N.KThe fear that grew in her image melted away. She smiled in return before blowing away in the wind, nodding to Lee before disappearing (along with the copy katana in the distance). The cube was the only thing left in the air, soon falling down to the ground. With heavy breaths, Lee put down her sword and walked towards the cube. She picked it up between her thumb and forefinger, turning it over to observe it. Such a troublesome little thing... She hesitated before looking over her shoulder at the two, her face serious.
LEE.N.KThe expression died, a wide grin forming on her face. She began laughing. "Hahahahaha! I did it!" She looked extremely happy.

Maxus Eros Brightstar Maxus continued to move forwards quietly, a slight smirk on his face. If Lucian was going to be a grouchy so and so with him, then he was entitled to have a little fun with the man. He put away the crystal spear and drew his warblade. Truth was, he had no idea what it was he'd sensed, but he was going to find out, that much was certain.

Ryu held onto Parrot tightly as he watched in anticipation of Lee's combat. "Good luck," Ryu whispered as his eyes sharpened on the ordeal. He noticed Lee's change in aura as she seemed more prepared to fight than every before. "C'mon Lee! Don't let up!" Ryu exclaimed as he cheered on. His friendship was betting on Lee's fight as he knew even if things went badly he couldn't allow himself to interfere. The clash between two similar swordswomen finally came to a climax as the victor stood overhead. Lee had won.
It was silent as Lee preached on her own type of victory over her clone. "It's different from mine," Ryu thought," I guess the teacher had it made that way." He smiled as he saw Lee look back at him and Parrot. "You did it!" Ryu cried as he leaped over the stone pillar blocking him and ran over to Lee. He held Parrot up to meet his mistress as they both congratulated Lee on her victory. "You alright?" Ryu asked unsure of her injuries, "Didn't know you could fight like that." He smiled, a wide smile, proud to have such a tenacious companion.

Maxus Eros BrightstarMaxus rounded and corner and pulled up in surprise. Standing a few feet away from him was........himself. He had just enough time to realize that one of Lucian's sugar cubes must have been laying nearby and transformed into him before the copy raised it's hand and Maxus was thrown backwards into one of the hedges by a blast of hurricane force wind. He pushed himself to his feet swearing in the Guardian language. The cube copy shook it's head and smirked. "My, my, this is quite a quandary, isn't it? How do you defeat yourself?" Maxus smiled a little in spite of the disaster that could occur if the copy got loose. "How indeed. It is difficult to fight someone who thinks EXACTLY as you do, and knows your every move." Since he knew Lucian was close enough to hear him, he decided that he would show the stuck up little pruvyat that he wasn't just a muscle bound jar-head who knew nothing other than combat. He took a step back and sat down on the ground, folding his legs under himself. The copy paused for a few moments and then warily copied the action. Maxus closed his eyes and let out a short breath. "You know, there was an old Guardian philosopher by the name of Gearth Darkwave, lived in the early Chet'rok period of Guardian history. He faced a similar problem with a Dramian veenak. The veenak is a shapeshifter, and a very powerful one, too. They copy EVERYTHING about that which they mimic." He paused for breath as the copy watched and listened. "So, Gearth, after watching another Guardian fight one of the creatures to a standstill, came up with a different plan. He became something that even the veenak couldn't mimic." Maxus suddenly shivered hard and his eye snapped open. They were no longer his normal slate gray, but bright yellow, with vertical slit-pupils. He chuckled, and his voice now a deep thunderous rumble. "He became a dracos sidhe." His body rippled, and began to grow. His clothes vanished, and his skin changed, becoming midnight blue scales, a tail grew out of his back, and his feathered wings changed into huge, bat-like ones. his face changed, turning into a muzzle with foot long fangs. He chuckled again, the very air vibrating. "You see, the dracos sidhe form can only be supported by a Guardian's body. So, you have three options. You can either try to transform into this and be destroyed, attack me and be destroyed, or change back into the cube form. Which will it be?" The cube copy stood still for a very long time, then slowly changed back into the cube. Maxus smiled and picked it up and changed back into his normal form. He left it in the middle of the path with a note in glowing words hovering in the air above it for Lucian. Mr. Steele,
I was lucky that time. If that copy had gotten out of the maze, it could have caused serious damage to the school and the world outside. I may be a smart guy, but I'm surprised that I thought of that old parable about Gearth Darkwave. Next time I might be so lucky.
MaxusHe drew his sword and continued forward, searching for the presence he had sensed earlier.

FAUST ⊹ WYR'D ⊹ ALASTOR
 Before he could react to the events that were happening, it was already too late. "I don't have time for this i'm gonna be late. After the farewell my town gave me" then a flashback appeared of him being chased by a mob of angry villagers with pitchforks. Thinking to himself he analytically processed the events and had come up with a conclusion. "Dammit, someone's obviously trying to poach me again like last time. Judging from the violent aura I can feel from a distance this is probably a trap set by them." Using "Fragarach" he flew up and swung it around, planning to make a whirlwind, to give him cover to escape. "Whoaa?! This isn't what i wanted" instead a turbulent tornado appeared, engulfing the area and those around it."I don't wanna get expelled on the first day, wait I need to calm down. What can I use to stop the winds?" He thought to himself "If I reversed to rotation maybe I could stop this", but before he could draw his blade it was ironically blown away by storm it created. ".............What am I gonna do now?!!" Frantically panicking, he kept grabbing anything from his stuff hoping it could help. Then suddenly, he felt something familiar. He gripped it and noticed it was his mother's gift the "Dyrnwyn". "Am I ready for this? If I could make a forward slash strong enough to disperse this, but I might end up like those other people... " but at a split second "I don't have time for this!" he swung it making a giant scorching wave dispersing the tornado but incinerating those in close proximity. "I'm so in trouble for this..."

 Ǥerardo ♆ Ǥabrielle ♱ ζucifer Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ The Ghost Gerardo was walking down the pavement, when a puddle appeared before him. He was a ghost so he could avoid it, but he decided not to. He was alone, and bored anyways. He became visible, and jumped down though the puddle, which in all actuality was a portal to the labyrinth. He floated up from the ground. He was alone, in some maze. 'And yet, you are still alone.' he thought to himself. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and began walking around. Taking several lefts and rights and curves. He was about to float up and look over the labyrinth, but that was no fun. "I'm a little ghost, lost in a world of lefts and rights, no way to go. No straight line, no friends, no home. This school is your home. Your roomate? You don't know him or her. I've got a friend, he's a butterfly. He morphes into my hand. He is the only color in my life. I'm just a black and gray fuzzy blur. A stupid ghost. A lonely ghost." his thoughts became negative as he talked to himself more and more. Walking though the bushes now.

LEE.N.KLee grinned at the boy. "I'm fine, haha! I've been through worse!" She chuckled, soon attacked by Parrot. He leaped from the satchel box and onto his master's shoulder. His short, furry, and fat, arms hugged her cheek.
LEE.N.K"OH LEE-SAMA!" He closed his eyes, having a giddy expression on his face. "Félicitations! I'm proud of you... You're not that big of a nit-wit after all." He endearingly rubbed his cheek up against hers, a mischievous and dead smile plastered on his face.
LEE.N.KNit...wit?! "What did you call me, Parrot?!" She tugged on his cheeks, pulling them apart, but taken off guard when a high whirlwind occurred and filled the area. Her immediate reaction was to hold Parrot on her side, in order to shield him, and lift her left arm to shield herself. "Wha-what is this?!" She wasn't particularly asking anyone, just looking in the direction to find the source, though it wasn't particularly close either.
LEE.N.KIt was over just as soon and abrupt as it had started.

Ryu smiled, glad that his new found companion could handle her own. He was also a tad excited seeing as Ryu valued fighting strong opponents and Lee could very well be one of them considering how strong her spirit was. "Good, good," Ryu said overjoyed as Parrot got away from him. The reunion from the two was heart-warming to say the least, and seeing the two made Ryu wonder a bit if he had anyone close to him in his past life. He still hadn't remembered much of who he was at all or whether he had any friends close to him like Lee had Parrot. He only grimaced for a second on the thought before snapping back to reality as Lee exclaimed at the sudden gust of wind. "What the-," Ryu said quickly, "Man, way to ruin a good moment." He was getting tired of all the commotion and was tempted to simply end the next confrontation at full force this time. However, just as the storm had started it seemed to end around them. "What was that," Ryu thought as he shielded his arm from his face.
Suddenly a familiar figure had appeared before the trio: It was one of the teachers from earlier, of which Ryu hadn't been introduced to personally. For an older woman, the teacher seemed well-endowed, much to Ryu's discomfort. A small blush rushed across Ryu's face as he tried to keep a serious composure. Something about her beauty was unsettling as if her mere appearance was alluring Ryu. He had dealt with something like this before, he was sure of it. However, it wasn't quite as potent as the teacher before him. "We're fine teacher," Ryu responded in Lee's steed, "But we have no idea who caused the wind just now." He was tempted to use some of his dragonic abilities such as Dragon nose for scent or Dragon ears for sound, but Ryu resisted seeing as he was curious of the teacher's abilities. Ryu was also tempted to just leave the situation seeing as he was a little less than optimal at the moment from fighting his clone. Ryu hadn't told Lee, but since most of his own abilities were unknown to him, his sugar cube clone was also unable to use anything more than psychokinetic and swordplay against him.

LEE.N.KLee looked at the teacher. Why would he need to know that? Was she testing him? Was there going to be another exercise having to do with carrying something?
LEE.N.K""I need you to do that with Miss Lee here, so I can carry you both out at once."
LEE.N.KOh. That was it?
LEE.N.KThe girl nodded at once. She admired Miss Astos as a teacher and as a woman. She was so professional and never seemed to waiver. "Certainly Ryu can do that, right?!" The girl look determined while staring at Ryu's face, noticing his boyish features. Perhaps it didn't hit her or she just wasn't the type, but she didn't think about how close she'd be to the boy in a few seconds, or minutes. Lee took a step closer to him, Parrot already in the satchel (when did that happen? That sneaky little---).

Ryu shook himself a little to break his train of thought. It wasn't so much that he was attracted to his overly-feminine teacher, it was more that he was wary of her appearance. Call it intuition or experience, but it was always those who appeared alluring that were the most dangerous. "Is that so?" Ryu replied a little cautious, "My name's Ryu by the way." Perhaps it's because Ryu didn't know what her powers were or what race she was, but her mystery seemed to bother him more than Mr. Steel's blunt distaste for students. Unfortunately, his caution allowed Vienna's next remark to catch him off guard. "Umm... sort of?" Ryu said rather flustered, "I-is that really necessary, ma'am?" It's not that he was unwilling, but it was more to do with whether Lee would agree. Females were definitely not Ryu's strong point in this life or his last.
Ryu looked a bit surprised at how determined Lee was to go through with this plan altogether. Ryu, himself could fly, with some added dangers, but this seemed a little... unorthodox. "If you insist...," Ryu said a little nervously. He moved over to Lee's side carefully and placed his hands around her shoulder blades and beneath her knees. Without a second thought, Ryu lifted Lee up and pressed her body close to his. "She's light," Ryu thought with a small red blush as Lee's fragrance took over his senses, "She smells... sweet..." Ryu snapped out of his rather awkward trance as he immediately tried to look away somewhat from Lee's gaze at him. Her face was so close to his and their bodies almost felt like they uniquely went well together. "Is this enough?" Ryu said to Vienna, obviously feeling a little nervous and uncomfortable. Trying to change the subject before he got anymore flustered Ryu carried Lee over to Vienna and prayed silently that he wasn't touching anywhere inappropriately.
