Millie heard Victor, jumped out of the tree, but her bag snared in the tree causing the strap over her shoulder to brake and she landed on the ground hard. "Oww.. Why?" She moaned as she got up and saw her ruined bag. She saw some of the flowers were ruined and she frowned. It was then that she looked up at Victor. She quickly tried hiding the half smashed flowers saying, "Oh, hi Victor. If you're wondering where I got the flowers they were on my desk. And if you want to know why I was hiding in the tree it's because I don't want to go home. My uncle's there and what you've done to torture me is nothing like what he's done in the past..... He locks me in closets, ties me up with no food or water and when I try telling people they never believe me..." Millie was crying by the time she finished speaking and she turned away from Victor figuring that he didn't want to bother with her crying.

Victor frowned as he heard what she said.her uncle.god,he really felt like an a***hole.....sighing softly,he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her into a tight hug

Millie was shocked that Victor was hugging her. She couldn't understand why he was hugging her since he had just barely started being nice to her. "Wh-why?" She stammered as she looked up at Victor, her big pink eyes glossy with tears.

Victor sighed softly,"we'll talk about it later....come on,your staying over at my place tonight....your not going to your home tonight...."he let go of her,but took the flowers from her and held them with a hand

Millie looked at Victor, afraid to really go with him. "What about my uncle?" She asked wiping the tears from her eyes. She knew her uncle knew she had no friends and that she'd not stay at anyone's house because of the punishment she'd get after getting home.

Victor looked over to her,"I'll take care of him,just don't worry about it...."he now fellt rage boil up in him about the uncle,"come on,don't worry...."

Millie gave Victor a small smile and then said, "Thank you. I just hope uncle doesn't get mad..." She then thought about why he was helping her so much. She wanted to ask what he thought everyone else in school would think of him if he was nice to her, but she didn't ask his thoughts on the matter.

Millie walked inside and looked around. She walked around a bit and then once she was finished looking around she walked back into the living room and then sat on the couch. She didn't know if she'd be very comfortable, but she actually felt safer in Victor's place than with her uncle. Though he tortured her and she knew once the weekend rolled around he'd force her to do all the chores while he had his poker buddies come over. She started digging through her broken bag and then pulled out the notebook she had been doodling in and opened it to a clean page. She started doodling a big gray tom-cat like she had done several times before in the same notebook. She didn't know why, but she couldn't help but draw the same tom with the sharp yellow eyes over and over again. However, this time she doodled a small white she-cat with black ears and tail with the tom.

Victor started to cook up some food a** he assumed Millie was getting confortable.his thoughts mulled over what she said about her uncle.he frowned,had she tried to get help from authorities....?he frowned more

Millie finished up the picture and then walked into the kitchen setting the notebook down, not thinking that there was a chance Victor might see it. She then poked around in the fridge looking for a drink. She almost got some milk, but then decided to get a glass of ice water. She went back out into the livingroom, setting her drink on a coaster on the coffee table. She didn't think much of the notebook with the picture of the gray tom and the black and white she-cat curled up together and the fact that Victor may see it.

Millie remembered that her notebook was in the kitchen when Victor gave her dinner. She put the food down on the table thanking him and heading to the kitchen. Once back from the kitchen she asked, her face blushing, "You didn't see the picture in my notebook did you? I mean I guess that it's ok I just um... My art isn't as good as it could be..." Her face blushed more as she thought of Victor having seen the picture and what he thought of the two cats and if he knew who those cats were meant to be.{ooc: I'm going to be getting off the computer and will be getting on my DS cat_smile Thought I'd let you know, since posting from that takes more time than on a computer. cat_biggrin }

Millie let out a small relieved sigh and sat down to eat her dinner. She was happy that Victor hadn't figured who the cats were meant to be, yet was a bit dissappointed. As she ate she looked at Victor a few times. She was greatful that he let her stay at his place while her was home, though she was too shy to voice how thankful she was. "I'm uhm, well, happy that you let me stay here to be away from uncle." She said softly, but loud enough to be heard, without looking at Victor while speaking.
