Shehk laughed as she waded out of the water, wringing her jacket out with her hands. "I've learned not to initiate water combat with a dragon who is far more equipped for it than I am." she mused, her attention only drawn away once in a rather 'SQUIRREL!!' like gesture as some minipet went skittering through the grass.
However, Jericho's effective methods at staying dry just caused Shehk to grin, looking to Malodore. "Hey Mal, doesn't Jericho look like he could use a hug?" She was soaking wet, Mal was pretty wet too. Her motives were clear - get him soaked by contact.

"A... a hug?" Malodore tilted its head so far to one side that its hat nearly fell off. "I think perhaps that is your area of expertise. Plague doctors are very, ah, angular. And uncomfortable to hug." It was smiling, though. Clearly it was going to let Shehk do the honors when it came to the full-contact hugging.

Jericho looked to where Shehk had, trying to see what it was she had spotted. Though, he had only caught the shadow of some mini in the bushes. He didn't really see what it was, however. Shaking his head, he turned towards the others, blinking. "..A hug?"

A wicked grin came across Shehk's face. She was pretty soaked, after all. "Up to lil' ol me, then?" she mused, "I guess I'm rather good at giving hugs." She stopped wringing out her hair and looked from Malodore to Jericho.
Never the less, she moved towards the Dragon aiming to give him a very nice and very-wet-from-playing-in-the-water hug. He probably would have been well advised to run if he didn't want to be wet.

Jericho actually didn't want to get wet at the moment, and so he was slowly backing away from the sopping wet canine. He glanced towards Malodore, then darted behind a tree.

Shehk grinned and gave chase, not even worrying about running around the tree. Rather, she moved through it, breaking apart into mist and then reforming on the other side, tail wagging.
This was fun! Even if all the running was going to end up drying her out and then her attempt at revenge-hugs would have failed. Alas. Never the less, their little running-fest sent Pine Scents running in all sorts of directions to get away from them. One stopped and stared at Malodore with a sort of bewildered posture before it skittered up the rocks that helped form the waterfall, seeming to herd up there with several others that were watching the group with curiosity and annoyance.

Malodore chuckled, folding its legs under itself as it watched both minipets and students run about. "Strategy," it called out, though whom it actually meant to address was a mystery.

It seemed like they were stirring up the wildlife here, but Jericho wasn't paying so much attention to them. He let out a small cry as Shehk suddenly appeared behind him and bolted off to the next tree. She won't get him if he could help it! Jumping over one of the scents in the way, he scampered on about.

Shehk's ears perked up at Malodore's 'advice', turning to look towards the plague doctor for a moment, before the wicked grin returned. Strategy? Well...
Trees. She worked well with trees, yes. No fog, though. She could fix that if she wanted to end up with the hiccups afterwards. But it seemed as though she still had an idea of where to go from there. Which actually, she didn't yet. She cautiously circled through the trees, before she ran towards the tree passed the one Jericho had bolted to. Circle around, maybe herd him back the way they'd come.
After all, if it had just been about a race, Shehk was made to run - she could have done that easily enough.

Jericho's own strategy? Once he realized Shehk was a little more mobile on the ground, he decided to add a whole new axis to this chase. His cloak flared out dramatically as he tossed it aside to spread his wings. And then? He launched himself up to take flight. Up into the underground trees. Take that Shehk!

Hey wait.
HEY!!
Shehk made a high pitched noise of distress when she realized Jericho had actually used the one advantage they both knew he had to take up to the air, before she put her hands on her hips.
"Bah! You're no fun!" she teased, sticking her tongue out at him. "Fine fine! No hug for you!" Shehk seemed to be backing off as she turned to head back to where they'd left Malodore, finding a rock to sit on and stretch out.
"I do like this place, though. Very..relaxing."
