Wolf, Wolf, Wolf, will you tell your friend-who-is-definitely-not-you Demoman that I had alcohol, and now I feel a kinship to him. We should be bff's.
Also, I went to a party. A party, you guys. Me. I'm super introverted and terrible at parties. It was the first party I've ever been to (D&D parties don't count, right?). I had a beer and some chips and salsa and did party stuff. Like have awkward conversations, watch people have not awkward conversations, and... huh, I thought there was a third thing. Oh well.
I wonder why I thought this was relevant to this topic? Whatever, I'm posting this anyway.

Thought I would go ahead and post my character bio for the RP here for you guys to check out. If things are still rolling of course. Also, what do you all think of possibly making another thread in the guild for all this RP related info? This all still ties in with "guild promotion", but a second thread for this would keep things more clear.
Anyways, here is the plot I had posted earlier and basically got the green light from Roisu to implement. Feel free to add suggestions. PLOT:
Tha Wolf Mane
I was thinking the current rooms in the rp could be the "main lobby" of a big test facility where people will face random obstacles and battles.
With the current characters in the roleplay being the newest captured "players." They won't be the only ones though, so this leaves room for people to make up characters and for new people to join in, because new "players" are added every often and old ones are still "left over." I'm thinking of this as some kind of SAW meets the Hunger Games sorta deal. Maybe with a hint of Deadman's Wonderland. Oh, and lots of video game themes and what not for the tests.
Meanwhile, this whole event is made by Aperture Science and the Valve Gaming Guild. I can take the role as the organizer of this event. I can also be the mysterious informant that pops up randomly to explain situations and what not to the players, and cause problems or "help out." Kind of like G-Man. Those who sign up for it can show up as "moderators" of the event (they basically watch over, control the events, and serve as my VIPs. They may even pick favorites and help out players if they are kind. Or hinder players if they are gonna have an evil personality). Others can join in as "spectators" of the event (people who are watching from a disclosed location) instead of "players" if they wish.
Meet the Wolf Mane:
Every story needs a villain. Some more psychotic than others. In this story's case.....well...lets just say, no words can describe the insanity that dwells within this monstrosity. Not much is known about the mysterious past of name struck from record, in fact, all files about it have been mysteriously burned in a fire along with those who typed it. Speaking of which, as I am typing this, I am being threatened at gunpoint not to talk anymore involving our beloved Captain's past. All you need to know is that he is 50% human, 50% wolf, and 100% your friend. Trust us! He is a fun guy! He wears fancy suits and hats. Has a pearly white smile filled with lovely sharp teeth. He even likes to hug you and give you a creepy lick on the cheek. Oh and did we mention he has the cutest tail that you should never ever touch if you value your life job.
Now, let me explain how our wonderful operation came to be. Wolf was assigned as one of the Vice Captains of the Valve Gaming Guild. A group of fans who enjoyed the antics of certain heroes throughout time. Such as the 18 mercenaries who waged war while asserting their dominance with colorful hats, the groups of survivors of the dreaded infection that deformed the bodies of millions (aka zombie apocalypse), the portal hopping Chell who survived Aperture Science tests, and the notorious crowbar wielding hero known as Gordan Freeman.
Unfortunately, hard times fell upon the guild, and activity was on the relatively low side. After cleaning up some cobwebs and re-organization, Wolf was appointed to bring the VGG back to glory. Using secret Aperture Science technology, Wolf had created a portal to an alternate universe where he created his ultimate masterpiece... The Terror Box. A hazardous amusement park filled with death traps, mazes, simulations, and etc. It is here where contestants aka "players" are challenged to a game of survivability. A game commanded by Wolf's group of trained personnel known as "Mods." Spectators from all over the world are invited to this dimension to watch their favorite heroes and underdogs fight for their lives and the chance to return home with no memories of the horrors they faced.
"Who are the players?" you ask? Why no other than the VGG's favorite heroes, villains, and anyone else we can grab from their timelines! Thanks to the device Wolf stole..I mean borrowed, he can successfully kidnap people from their time and deliver them to the Terror Box without them remembering any of it. To avoid any "problems", Wolf managed to sign an agreement with two powerful women. The Administrator of RED & BLU and GLaDOS. Together, the three of them rule the #1 underground entertainment. THE ORANGE BOX. As it is called in advertisements. Many have tried to shut down this operation, but no one can match the combined power of a psychotic half man half beast, an Aperture Science AI, and an old lady with a goal. Also, Saxton Hale sponsored us a bit. Along with beating up a few cops.
Enough about the boring business stuff, you want to know about Wolf huh? Well, I'm just his secretary, I can't tell you much. Especially with my life on the line as I type this. Lets just say...you don't wanna Meet the Wolf Mane.
I think tomorrow I'll work on a post that'll pretty much sum up the rest of that scene with the Medics and Sniper (Havoc has unfortunately lost interest and will no longer be joining in anymore) so that we can move on from there.

Aww, I was enjoying the BLU medic duo. Yeah, go ahead. I'm interested in seeing what you can come up with. I'll still continue with BLU Demoman occasionally, since we are low on people.
As for how the games (the challenges) will go down, either me or one of the mods will introduce a number of the players to it. After that, it will be up to the chosen players on how they will complete it (or die). Me and the mods will still jump in and either help or hinder their performance. Whether it be rigging the game, offering assistance, adding in robots/monsters, granting a present at the end of the game, etc. Be creative. smile I'm thinking we limit respawn to a certain number. But I'm really looking for suggestions on this one. But then again, I'm not sure if people will be willing to kill their character so easily.
Players who haven't been chosen yet or have completed their game for the moment are either returned/left in the lobby (where the characters already are). Or they can roam the amusement park based on Various Valve and video game related themes, which is heavily guarded of course (not gonna lie, I stole this idea from Deadman Wonderland sweatdrop ). They can even eat at the Grill N Kill (gotta add in that little easter egg razz ).
Me and the mods will be located in a luxurious building that overlooks the entire park. Basically, think of it as a fancy hotel. Each mod will have their own suite of course, and access to a spa, workout room, all you can eat buffet, game room, etc. If a mod is generous enough, they can even let a player have limited access to one of these rooms after completing an event.
Too much kindness to the players might get you on Wolf's "Good list." Which ironically, isn't a good thing. He prefers those on his "Naughty list", the mods who cause a lot of torment to the players.
I was trying to ignore the fact that I have terrible social anxieties, but it's haaaard. I've been hiding from the roleplay because it's a bad source of anxiety.
I don't think I can do this anymore.
P.S. For the same reasons, I've been avoiding logging on to Steam. I'm afraid to talk to you, Wolf. I'm also hiding from my overly friendly neighbors.

I was trying to ignore the fact that I have terrible social anxieties, but it's haaaard. I've been hiding from the roleplay because it's a bad source of anxiety.
I don't think I can do this anymore.

I'm pretty sure a grizzly bear would kill a wolf if threatened. I'll just surround myself with grizzlies, and then there's no way your wolf senses could get through.
I wonder what stops a bear? I should probably get some of those, too, in case my bear-shield is also violent toward humans... Maybe, maybe a less threatening bear?
How about I get a bunch of pandas instead? Yeah, that'll stop your wolf senses, but it'll also be less likely to kill me.

Too late. I already have my bear plan in place. I'm one hundred percent safe now.
Besides, we aren't even on Tamriel.
I couldn't actually find any bears, though, so this shirt will have to do.
