It took him a moment to even register that Jordan had moved over, so wrapped up in the doubts and anger that were taking hold in him. But the touch brought him out of it, blinking distractedly before giving Jordan an almost confused and fleeting look, as if he'd just been startled out of a daydream.
"Sure." he needed any excuse to get away from the group, and was more than happy to take an offer that meant he didn't need to go off completely on his own.

Clerise hissed like an irate cat when Candace touched her hair, batting away the hand with a less-than-kind slap, startled. "Wow, okay, get off me." She pulled away with a frown, still moody, and being smart enough not to pick a fight with Candace...especially when the other woman probably had more people than Clerise did.
All this talk of family just pissed her of. Her dad was painfully, extremely, and intensely ordinary...and before her mom ran out, she'd been the same.
"Man, you can take it. Not my birthright. I'm ********' out of here, though, I think most of what needs murdering has been slaughtered by this parade."
Hands up, Clerise decided to ollie out and blow this metaphorical popsicle stand.
Maybe she could sleep away this ungodly sense of crabby.

Relief dripped off of Jerry's brow when no one ripped the paper away from him, and he carefully folded it to tuck into the pocket of his jumper. It gave him something to think about, at least... concentrate on besides Candace hugging and kissing and touching everything that moved. He glanced to Harrison briefly before looking down.
She could... do what she wanted. She didn't belong to anyone. A free bird. None of his business.
He wondered how much of that went on while they had been dating. Apparently quite a few people hadn't even been aware of their... relationship, such as it was.
History, it ws history now. He glanced up to Harrison, an unreadable expression on his face before he glanced to the others, particularly Rep who seemed ready to burst for some reason until Jordan came to his comfort.
Not his business. The question was... why was his name on this list, and how had they found it. He cleared his throat, carefully not looking at Candace's displays even as Clerise began to saunter off. "If... if that's... alright with every-every-everyone. Um. Th-thank you... Um. I m-might need help figure out who is who b-but..." He hesitated a moment, a delayed thought coming back to mind, "Bix is Ferdinand Wilkins Jr.?" no wonder he went by his nickname.

Jordan glanced back to Jerry. "That's what Molly said," he confirmed. "You could ask him about it." He watched Jerry a moment longer, concerned; Jerry was stuttering again, his anxieties showing. Pointing it out in a group was probably a really bad idea, though.

Ferdinand Wilkins Jr...alrighty then. Candace blinked. Quite the name, no wonder he went by Bix she would too goddamn. She opened her mouth to say something until she felt an arm around her, pausing and tensing. What was holding her?! Oh god it was--oh! It was just Harrison. Her racing heart slowed to a calmer pace and she sighed with quiet relief as he held her, closing her eyes and putting her head more comfortably on his shoulder. It wasn't a full out hug, but it was a start. "Thank you." She told him quietly, smiling.
Clerise slapped her hand away and she lifted her head again to watch the redhead move away, shrugging it off. Whatever. She put her head right back where it'd been and put a hand over Harrison's, closing her eyes. "Yeah, too bad it's all smudged. Maybe get one of the younger trainees to help you, young eyes and all that. Gale could help?" She said to Jerry, letting go of Molly's curls to just let her hand drop to her side. Wait. There were eyes on her. Why were there eyes on her? Who was looking at her? Candace's eyes opened wide and she tensed up again, lifting her head and looking around with mild panic. Someone had been looking at her why had they been looking at her who had been looking at her stop looking at her!
CANDACE! She flinched. Atropos sighed and lowered her voice, a soothing purr that felt like a hug wrapping around her. Shhh, it's okay. Jerry was looking at you but only for a moment. But look! Harrison is hugging you! Kind of...that's what you wanted, right? Someone to hold you? Candace frowned and nodded her head, starting to relax again. Yes, that was..what she wanted. It hurt to look out at all the cots that people were sharing and know hers only had her in it. She just wanted to be held. Her bottom lip quivered a moment until she bit down on it and forced it to stop, closing her eyes as she sighed.
"Clerise and William are right. We should leave." She wanted to go back down to the underground and hide again. Her hand tightened almost painfully around Harrison's, shaking. Why had Jerry been looking at her. What was he thinking. What was on his mind. When had he been looking at her? When she was trying to relax for once? <********>. She'd ******** up again just listen to him goddamnit ******** it all she couldn't do anything ******** right even when she was trying to stay quiet and out of the way goddamnit ******** hell just UGH!
Candace suddenly stood straight on her own and slipped away Harrison's hold on her, looking unhappy about it. She needed to be alone. No. Wait. No. She didn't want to be alone...she wanted to be held. ******** she...god...what..no. She wanted to be held. She wanted to not be alone. Right? She shouldn't be alone, right? She...she should be..with someone. Or should she be alone? Was that the problem? Everyone could have someone to be with but her? Was that what she was doing ******** glanced Jordan's way when he said he wanted to stay. Normally she would be all for it. Kill more creatures trying to claim their home? Hell yes, she would protect their home. But no. She needed to get away. Out of this fog, out of this building. Just. Out. She glanced toward a hall that could eventually take her to H's office if she really wanted to. Suddenly her chest felt tight and she had trouble breathing for a moment as she shook her head. "IneedtogogladIcouldhelpstaysafeseeyouguyslater." She nearly ran, settling on a very quick walk instead. A very quick one.

Jude had stuck around long after the fight and even a little bit after certain discoveries were made but for the most part he had no input and even lacked a feeling of actual surprise at the idea that there would potentially be a breeding program in place for this sort of thing. Oh, certainly, he was thinking. Going over things in his head but staying quiet and perhaps even a little bit troubled.
It made sense that something like this would have a breeding program of some sort set up to ensure potential Hunters will always be around and to recruit said potentials when the lines got a little bit ... thinned out amongst the Hunter group.
Was it twisted? Most certainly. Was it a shock to the system? It was just a tad but Jude couldn't say he was outright surprised. He let everyone speculate and talk things over his eyes followed Candace as she made her very hasty exit.
He frowned a bit.
Things just were messed up all over the place.
"If I am not needed anymore, then, I will see you all back at the barracks or some mess," he said idly as he turned on his heel and started to walk away. Perhaps the surprise would slap him right in the face later on and he'll have a major break down. Maybe it'll never hit simply because, as odd and twisted as it was, it made sense. If he were to set up an operation like this he'd certainly also make a list of 'breeding lines' just to make sure to have strong fighters.
It just ... made a little too much sense to him. He turned and calmly wandered out so he could go rest and think things over. Over a cup of hot water because essentially that is what the coffee equated to underground.

Candace gripped him really hard. "You okay? You're shaking like- ...Candace?" What was the matter with her? Her name hadn't been on the list. He looked back at Rep and Jordan and shrugged.
Jude took off too.
"Yeah uh, bye Jude."
The bird was dead, people had other things to do. He considered for a moment. Rep and Jordan should be fine, he trusted Jordan not to take on more than he can handle. Mostly. Both of them had wanted a piece of the Horsemen, and there were a lot of corpses up here- "...You guys...call me if you need back up, okay? I'm going to go see if Candace is alright."

The longer he stood there the more Rep found he didn't want to be there at all, Candace's weird behaviour, he noticed but figured inevitably that whatever it was that was up with her she deserved and then some.
Harrison's decision to go see what was up with her was met with much less delight and in about the most deadpan tone he could manage. "Yeah. Okay. Have fun." He didn't start an argument though, just edged almost imperceptibly nearer to Jordan, following the other man's gaze to Jerry.
He wasn't sure why but he felt hopelessly lost.

Jordan suppressed a sigh. The discovery of the paper seemed to have made everyone skittish, or maybe it was the whispering silence of the fog that did it. He nodded to Harrison. "We will. Thanks."
He looked back to Rep and suggested, "Let's get this sweep done quickly. I don't think we'll find much, and then we can go downstairs and have a cup of coffee or something."

A keen little nod. "Yeah. Quick once over." he didn't want them to attract anything too huge with everyone leaving.
The coffee sounded good though, the company even moreso.
