While Cassius admitted to himself that the dragon hybrid was very delicious to look at, he simply raised one perfectly arched eyebrow at his comment and question, "More like a bad half year... all of which spent in the deepest sections of the ocean... where there isn't much light and it's colder than a snow elf's arse..." he corrected, "Trust me, you wouldn't be looking your best after that either. Just give me a few more minutes and I'll be able to shift and look a bit more 'normal'..." he assured him simply. He shifted himself so that he wasn't laying there like an offering. No, the shift put him to looking more like the fantasy creature he really was. He gestured to one of the boulders in front of him, "Have a seat. I'll be able to move once this tail dries out a bit more," he suggested with a shrug of one lightly-scaled shoulder. He watched as the male reclined himself then raised his face to the sky with his lavender eyes closed and gave a soft sigh, "I wish I'd made it up here during the day light... I miss the sun's warmth..." he said softly, mainly to himself, his siren's voice a contained temptation in this form, just giving the hints of what its true beauty could be if he were to let it loose. Just a few more minutes and he did, indeed, shift to his human form. His very nude human form. He casually got to his feet without a care in the world for his lack of clothed state and stretched once he had his land-balance, showing himself off without shame and easing sore muscles at the same time. Win-win for him. His human form appeared a bit more 'himself', thankfully. Some of his usual tan remained and his ankle-length hair moved around his lean body as the breeze stirred it to life. He looked good and he knew it. He was also a power to be reckoned with if he decided to push the issue and it showed with subtlety in his aura for those who could see it. He finally turned his lavender eyes to the stranger and offered a hand as he hummed a simple tune and 'sang' a pair of plain linen beach shorts onto himself then offered a teasing half-grin, "I'm Cassius Ansel, by the way... And you are...?" he introduced himself then raised that delicate eyebrow again.

Dakoda's face paled slightly and he frowned slowly turning those full tempting lips down. He didn't seem to like the idea of water that deep, in fact the boulder he had chosen to stand on was as far away from the water as he could get without leaving the coastline. "Does it look like I know anything about 'normal' " he smirked gesturing to all of himself before sitting down hanging his legs over the edge of the boulder. He hummed a bit as he watched him for a moment or two before looking out at the water. "Its not too early in the night..the sun will come again soon" He preferred traveling by night that way you could only see his shadow if he was in the moonlight or false light (Lantern light, flashlights etc). It made it easier to hide from hunters, of course it had taken him all day long to fly here so he was a little annoyed at the fact that he had been forced to take flight in the day time due to...an unplanned interruption of his sleep. He sighed softly as he rolled his shoulders popping them a bit and relaxed his wings tilting his head back. He seemed a little tired, He'd only gotten a little rest this morning so he was pretty ready for sleep to take him though he knew he was going to have to find a place to get settled first. ugh.. the complications of traveling. Glancing him over slowly once Cass had regained his human form he hummed a bit, he was starting to look better which was good. He had at first wondered if cass had been sick.Tilting his head to the side a bit as he chuckled slowly before sitting up and leaning forwards sliding his hand into Cassius' "Dakoda. Dakoda Mauli. Pleasure to meet you" he purred. Alright his first night on the island and he'd already made an acquaintance, things were going alright for a start though he peered out at the water with narrowed eyes. He was almost worried that the hunters from this morning had followed him as he breathed out softly. It had been hard to lose them and he didn't want them coming here..

Cass noted a distinct lack of a certain type of attention and decided to simply accept the male as nothing more than a new resident to the island. But he was most certainly not used to not being appreciated. Oh well. Maybe when he was looking more his usual self. "Normal is relative, my dear Dakoda. Relative to yourself and yourself alone. Your personal opinion of yourself and what is 'normal' for you. What is normal for you will most certainly not be normal for me. Personally, I don't mind my version normal. I actually like it a great deal. I love my version of normal almost as much as I love myself. You might think of me as a wet version of Narcissus, if you will. I appreciate everything that is 'me' and dare anyone to tell me I should think differently," he commented impishly then gestured to the pathway that would lead up towards the castle at the top of the hill above them. Thankfully, he'd landed closer to the castle than he'd intended to. He needed a simple shower and it was the closest place to get one. "Come, let's head up to the castle. I need a shower and better clothing. You probably need a secure place to stay. We should be able to find both there. I need to deliver a bit of information while I'm at it. So it seems we should be able to take care of everything for the both of us," he suggested as he tossed his hair behind him in a careless movement that managed to be useful and show himself off at the same time. He knew he'd wind up leading the way, but had to admit that he was actually looking forward to the admiration he'd likely get at the castle. He'd already openly admired the hybrid but had taken the hint and backed off when his tentative overture was ignored. That was fine. He could take a hint. He also had to head to his home in the village to see if it was still intact... Even though he could feel the emptiness of it from here...

Dakoda blinked a bit before smirking somewhat as he gripped Cassius' hand a littler firmer sliding down of the rock as he pulled him closer to him once he began to talk about the castle. Standing in front of him with just a hair's breadth of space between them, He reached up and gripped Cassius' chin firmly tilting his head back a bit as he leaned in towards him slightly. Dakoda was tired but he wasn't stupid, He would begin to show more interest as Cassius amused him with his prissy attitude and the fact that Dakoda didn't outright offer any kind of special attention at first. He could tell that Cassius was use to being an attention hog and a wet narcissus was a good explanation apparently for the man. " Only if you promise to show me around the island tomorrow and let me see you at your full lustrous appeal" he cooed at Cassius. "let me see what you look like with the sun's warmth beaming down on you" He smirked deviously almost devilishly as he was rather close to Cassius' face before pulling back and chuckling softly. He removed his hand running a finger down Cassius' jaw before pulling away from him completely as he turned to head towards the path way. His tail came up and wrapped around Cassius' waist very loosely giving him a faint nudge as if to encourage him to come along. Dakoda was just getting use to things now, he finally got here and well he had to take a moment to just simply fall over and relax in a somewhat literal sense earlier, no more running away. This was the place the dragons who finished raising him had told him of and he could say that he definitely felt like it was home already. All the different smells..there was a mixture of people here and he'd just met probably one of the most interesting people so far.

DF Red and Blue Exit to the garden then the bathhouse. Cassius actually grinned at the new attention then slid himself away from the tail, proving that he was very much the sea creature in the process. After all, he'd escaped from octopi before. Evading one grabby appendage was far easier than escaping eight. But he did it more as a tease than an act of distaste then moved on ahead of the beautiful being, passing him with a teasing grin and a teasing wink of one lavender eye, "It seems I have a date tomorrow... Sounds like a lovely day planned..." he said softly, his voice not hiding anything of it's true tempting beauty before he moved on ahead to lead the way into the castle itself....

Dakoda hummed somewhat as he smirked when Cassius slid away like that chuckling slowly, oh being a tease was he? when he was so looking like he was going to throw a tantrum a bit ago with the fact that dakoda hadn't paid him attention. He smirked as he stared at him tilting his head to the side, he could get use to hearing that voice all the time though there was a few other thoughts as to what it would sound like if he did various things to cassius. He cleared his throat a little before shaking his head somewhat. A chuckle came from him as he reached up running a hand over his right horn, "All days are lovely when you're in good company" He purred as he walked along with Cassius heading away from the coast and closer and closer to the castle. (Exit to the gardens)

This was probably not the best stretch to have a boat leaving from, but Sebastet knew what she was doing. At least here, they were plenty far enough away from Ebony's fight that they wouldn't wind up crushed or charred. She gestured to the boat simply and was rewarded by Ash simply getting into it, followed closely by Dev and Snow, then Yamille and Anube, then herself. Only Cain hesitated, gesturing for Xondra to get into the boat ahead of him. Her pinch had perplexed him. He wasn't too sure why some females found him attractive, especially since his general preference for males was well known here. Well, general preference, not an ingrained one. But his last relationship with a woman had ended badly and he wasn't too sure if he wanted to repeat that. But once Xondra was in the boat, that left Cassius standing on one of the rocks beside the boat. He didn't say anything as he slipped his bag and dropped it into the boat then did the same with his shorts and dove into the water. A few moments and his head came up a few feet ahead of the boat and held up a hand to catch the rope Ash obligingly threw to him then disappeared under the water again. Just a bit longer and the boat started to move, slowly increasing speed until it was moving out to sea at a very good speed. On occasion, Cassius could be seen as he moved out of the water like a dolphin riding the waves, revealing his beautifully rainbowed iridescent scales and pale blue fin as his hair spread around him in the air before he was under the water again. As a result, they made it to the island in less than an hour, giving them plenty of time to invade, rescue, then leave again before the sun rose.

A small boat appeared on the sea's horizon, drifting gently towards the coast in the moon light. The boat seemed to be empty, as the occupant was laying down in the boat, completely covered in a blanket. She was unaware of the coast she was looming closer to as she was lost in her thoughts, under the darkness of the blanket. She had almost wished the sea would take her to her watery grave, being tired of searching for a place she could call home. A tear rolled from her closed eyes, her thoughts shifting to her father. It was because of him, that she rarely transformed into her dragon form, knowing that her current form was weaker. The waves began to pick up, lunging her boat closer to the coast. Feeling the sudden movements of the waves, she sighed, hoping that this was the time.
The violent waves thrust her boat against the coast, against the rocks. Sadria suddenly sat up, throwing the blanket off of herself. Her crimson eyes looked over her boat, which was now damaged. Carefully, she stepped out of the ruins onto the rocks, looking out at the sea. She cursed under her breath, since what she was hoping did not come true. Sighing, she sat down on the rocks, kicking her boat back out to sea. Her long silver hair cascaded down over her shoulder in the quick movements. Her long black dress was beginning to soak as the trail was hanging down into the sea. She sat there, watching the waves, with no motivation to further explore the island she crashed upon. Her heart sank, thinking that she would never find a place she could call home. No one seemed to have wanted a hybrid like herself. She closed her eyes and leaned back against the rocks, listening to the waves crash against the coast.

After laying there for hours, Sadria sighed, feeling as if the sun would be rising soon. She opened her eyes, taking one last look at the sea before standing up on the rocks. Carefully, she made her way along the coast line, her dress now completely soaked by the sea. Since she crashed into this island, she might as well take a look around and see if she can find any shelter. She felt, in the pit of her stomach, that if anyone inhabited this island, that they would shun her, too. Shaking the feeling away, Sadria began to move inland, to see what the island had to offer, if anything.

Leon finally reached the shore of the island, getting tossed forward from his seat when the boat he had stolen began grinding on the rocks. He quickly regained his vision, and stopped the boat from moving forward.
"Figured I'd fall asleep" he muttered to himself, making sure his signature jacket was not torn.
Upon looking around, he was surprised to find no one there, considering the rumors he had heard those years before.

Callisto Piscis-Piscis Adventurous Mermaid With excitement pumping through her veins Callisto climbed up a small wall of sharp rocks to peek over at the new people. Her eyes sparkled with childish delight as she looked over both of them. Then she pushed herself away and quickly made her way back down to the coast. In her mind she was counting down the minutes until she'd be dry enough to finish transforming. But she was just so very excited! Time was a wastin'! She'd come here recklessly, following an interesting looking fish until she was at the surface. Then just wandered around the coastline as she dried off. She'd thought she'd seen at least one boat coming this way and joy oh joy she was right! She giddily grinned as she dropped herself down next to a busted up boat. It was smaller than she was long, in her true form. If it was one that either of these strangers had come on, she didn't know. But it didn't matter! Time to break the ice! Making new friends was so exciting! Oh, she wondered what they were like! How much fun could they have together?! Callisto lifted the small wreckage over and behind her head before flinging it towards them. "Hello friends! Is this yours?!" She called cheerfully, blissfully unawares that over the sound of the object they would unlikely hear her. She ducked behind a rock, just peeking her head out in anticipation. She didn't notice that when the boat fell, it'd split into pieces on rock and the pieces had gone flying everywhere. Currently, she was wearing a long dress which covered most of her body. She very nearly looked perfectly like any other dark elf, with the exception of the scales which were still on her legs and abdomen. If it were completely dark out the natural bioluminescent patterns on her skin would also be apparent; even through her clothes.

Leon was startled by the sound of what seemed like splintering wood. Upon looking around, he noticed something dart behind a rock, or some kind of formation. He picked up his bag, and jumped down from the speedboat. He knelt down once he had walked to the wreckage of the small boat, and looked it over. After while, he got up, dropping his bag down to the ground. "Hey! I know you're over there! There's no sense in hiding. If you were trying to hit me with that, you have terrible aim. If not...not sure what the intent was." Leon began walking toward the rock formation tightening his gloves just in case. When he reached the rock, he peered around to find an interesting creature that he had never seen before. "...Whoa. Hey, uh, If you're planning to attack me, can we just make it a good old fight instead of sneaking around...?"

Callisto Piscis-Piscis Adventurous Mermaid Callisto's smile giddily grew into a full grin as she noticed one of the new people coming over to her hiding place. Meeting new people was so much fun! Or it could be, if she'd managed to make a good impression. She took a deep breath and straightened her hair and dress. Her pack with her belongings was... somewhere? She didn't recall at the moment, being too intrigued by the chance to meet some strange newcomers to the island. As she was trying to think of what to say next when the stranger finally reached her hiding place. She turned to face him, smile fading a little as she saw that the stranger looked less than pleased. At the mention of fighting, her smile turned nervous. "Fighting? Why would we fight, friend? Don't tell me that was that the wrong boat?" She asked curiously, genuinely hoping that they wouldn't have to fight. She wasn't unaccustomed to it in this form, as she only appeared to be a fragile dark elf and still had the use of the attributes of her natural form. But she wanted to make friends and sparring right at first meeting didn't seem like a good way to do that. Not to mention that this man looked like he could've walked out of a fable. The kind to eat lightning and crap thunder. Was that how it went? She didn't feel like fighting someone like that to the death. Friendship was so much more appealing to her than possibly dying over a misunderstanding!

"You aren't a fighter? Well, scratch one rumor...Sorry. Guess I'm a little on edge. The name's Leon." Leon sat down next to her, relaxing a bit. He cracked his neck, before turning his head to face her. "So, why're you sneaking around? You could've just introduced yourself. Though I can't say I've seen someone quite like you before."

Callisto Piscis-Piscis Adventurous Mermaid Callisto's smile soon returned and she sat down too. He wasn't mad! She held out a hand to shake his. He couldn't still want to fight, right? That would be just crazy. "It's nice to meet ya, Leon! I'm Callisto." After shaking his hand she pointed to herself. Then remembered to make sure her skirt was covering her legs. Letting anyone know that she was a mermaid would be a bad idea. Probably even a life-threatening one if she believed the stories and cautions and all that. Plus the others wouldn't like it much if she let someone discover her identity and live. It was against the rules. So she double checked to make sure not a scale was exposed. Good thing she was used to sitting a certain way on land. "I was just looking around for anything interesting. I didn't really want to be seen cause not many people come out here. Most people avoid this place because of the rocks and the deadly waters, y'know? I don't want anyone thinking I'm weird. But you're one to talk aren't ya? What's your story? Didn't want to pay for a boat ticket?" She spoke the last bit with a lighthearted tone and lightly poked his arm with her elbow. She didn't mean anything bad by it. She just wanted to joke around.
