Israfel didn't know what happened. She looked almost happy, peaceful, calm. Then he felt a crushing weight, his body dissipating and reforming. Meekly he backed away, Sammy reminding him of the other incident, the other time the gray skin had been seen. Cooing he didn't fly up the second time, he watched, worried and afraid. He didn't like this. He didn't want to see Riley like this. Large, corrupt, wrong. It was wrong, all wrong. This wasn't how things were supposed to be. Thing were supposed to be happy. With Riley and Mal cuddling, Shehk, Sammy and Sidding smiling. Jericho flying and- Lucien. Lucien would be there too.
But this was wrong, and nothing was how it should be. Lucidity was coming to the front of Israfel's mind, even as he kept trying to push it back. Chimes, voices and fog- It was not halloween. It was something else. It was wrong. It was wrong yet- Sammy was right. They had killed Red. They had done it. Hunters or not, they had killed her. Now Riley was like her and- He didn't want to kill. He never wanted to kill. He'd grown up fearing his own death, fearing his failures. In retaliation he pushed them aside, away from his mind. He'd let himself become ignorant. Innocent.
Riley he'd admired. She was smart and wrong, kind and in his eyes, always so sure that things would work out. He liked her. Considered her a friend. He disagreed with many things. But- He was not a killer. He could not be. Not when there was hope. And to Israfel, there always was hope. Sammy consumed, it didn't help. But they couldn't give up. Israfel wouldn't give up. Not for Riley. She'd never give up had she?" Forced to dissipate and reform once more, he came back, blue and black wings carrying him skyward. Carrying him to her ear.
"I made you a song Riley." It was a choked word. "I want to sing to you." Then music. Israfel's song was not so much made of words as it was made of sounds. It was simply a song once meant to hurt not converted into a song of healing.

Grimacing, Shun tried to help keep Mitsu up but he was pretty damn tired himself.
"Shh... it's alright," he murmured to her, noticing the distressed look upon her face. Looking towards Riley, his eye widened as the fog came sweeping over them once more, He tried to wrap his arms around Mitsu to protect her but it was to no avail. It ate him away, killing him once more.
Opening his eye, he let out a breath as he reformed shortly after. Wincing, he weakly pushed himself back to his feet. The voices were relentless. It sounded like hundreds of people within cages, crying for help and mercy. The reaper gritted his teeth, watching others unleash their attacks upon her. Gritting his teeth, he looked up as he heard a song. What? With a grimace, he just made his way back towards Riley, aiming to strike her once more.

Even as she stood there fog rolled over, it was strange this time. She was hit with the heat the stinging, the world going dark as she vanished again. The darkness was gone quickly as she was thrown into a new form again instantly.
She could almost see the fog retreating as she stood there again in a new body looking around with purple eyes.
She paused for a moment. "Shehk... Siddie someone.... those voices, this isn't all like Red. That thing, the thing last Giftmas, it was turning all kinds of things insane. It had strings those red strings that controlled us even.... Maybe something else is doing this..."

Siddie could barely think. She choked out, "Where are the strings? I can't see them. "Right..." She let him go, allowing to step away. He was right, now wasn't the time. Then the fog suddenly was blowing past her, and she had to bite her lip to keep from crying out in pain again.
The voices in her head were growing louder as well, and between that and the burning from the fog, she sank to her knees. Her hands covered her ears, her head, as if trying to protect herself, but it was no use. She couldn't focus enough to summon her spear, and there was no way she'd do any meaningful damage against this thing without it. She wanted to help Roch, if attacking it was what he needed from her, but she couldn't do it.

"No maybe not red strings, not this time. But something, something else controlling her, that's made of the other voices." She leaned over stroking Siddie's cheek once helping her up, "We need to fight, we need to find whats doing this and keep Riley safe then."
She slid something from the pockets of her robes now a small FEAR healing kit, she ignored the bandages and other bits pulling a single orange pill crushing it in her mouth. FEAR flared in her eyes and arm the room became clear.
"We need to stop anyone from hurting her till we figure something out. Look for anything in the fog. Another portal maybe."

If the students had thought hunters in the Glyph room was bad, suddenly all the hunters here with Riley too! Albeit, Nicodemus was wary of Cass's condition as she stumbled out, her shield half-reformed after Lance's lovely bandaging-job (Bandage, meet a**. Hi. Be friends. It was about like that), but now she was surrounded by the students and then there was a giant rampaging grey thing!

Behind Riley, she'd go behind Riley, nobody was there, she'd look in the fog behind Riley. She couldn't take much more of this... the fog burning her skin and pulling the life from her or the voices that were screaming out. It was madness, all of this. And as long as they were stuck here, it wasn't going to end. She didn't want to be branded for attacking a fellow student, but as much as some of the others seemed not to want to believe it... there didn't appear to be a way to save this one. Whatever had happened, nothing they were doing was fixing it or seeming to have any effect besides provoking them.
And then Imryn spotted someone flying to their opponent... just to heal it. "Oh for the love of Jack, this just gets better and better." Idiots, all of them. Mitzi and Reiko seemed to be on the attack still, however she was feeling too weak to be of much help. Which may or may not have been a good thing, as she kept her eyes roaming around the room enough to see a few Hunters appear.
"Guys, we have bigger problems on our hands now!" She called out.

Gale staggered into the room, one hand pressed against his side, which was bleeding profusely, along with his arm. He stumbled, knocking into Cass, standing several feet to the side - but dragged himself back up, teeth gritted as he raised the rifle.

"I'm I'm sorry Siddie, I want to help I do I just..." She looked up and what she saw, was the last thing she needed. Hunters. A lot of them.
"Siddie be careful, Hunters are here.... keep looking, but be safe dear Jack..." She squeezed the ghoul kissing her cheek before turning away to sprint towards the nearest one who was taking aim at Riley, she didn't fire, but Sammy didn't care.
"NO I WON'T LET YOUR KIND MAKE THIS WORSE!" Aymet heard a slight commotion behind them, and turned around. If he had blood it would have run cold, and not just because he was already dead. The hunters - they were too late -- Amrita--? The reason he'd been trying to fight his way past Riley in the first place resurfaced in the form of undead perseverence. The dracolich shot into the air and divebombed the nearest Hunter, as if glad for the distraction. HP: 10/40 Target: Gale Damage: 2 Riley HP: N/A kuromeez iizbot's character Aymet is attacking Gale for 2 damage! The Fear was rushing back and Yin felt it crushing his Fear shield as it washed over him and he dissipated, reappearing almost immediately but his health was no where near full.
