Kurama
☆═━┈┈━═☆ Now then...
As Kurama finished his meal, he watched as just as suddenly their little camp became over crowded with the search party that went into the Shadow Realm to rescue Lady Kagome. Most of the group has emerged from the still open portal which Lady Hotaru seems to just barely managing to keep open for whomever is still in that dark world to come through, but surely she can't keep it open that long. He set his bowl down after draining the broth from the stew he made as Inuyasha and Kagome became reunited. He could distinctly pick up the scent of blood from a few the other members of this party. Koto had limped off somewhere to collapse into self inflicted coma and there is a Monk with the group who seems to have a chest wound, but to him the most blood smell is coming from the half-breed pup who had gone along with them before.
The white wolf, Tsuki demanded to know what happened to her sister but he didn't answer her, Hotaru explained while he himself had grabbed his medical bag, moved off over to where Koga and Touga were, seeing that Koga was attempting to rub wild antiseptic into the boy's wounds. "Here, I have made a paste from grounded powder of the roots of this particular plant already, it should work more effectively." he opened the package up and began to gently apply the paste to the boy's burns, handing Koga a few rolls of linen strips to be used as bandages which they should wind around the pup after the paste is applied to his wounds. He had just heard the boy's sentiment about having been burned alive by his own father, Kurama's green eyes narrowed and shook his head in sympathy for the lad.

Once he had managed to get out that he is in pain to Kouga, the wolf leader stopped touching him upon realizing that he was for the moment no longer a half-demon pup. He just gazed at the ground, grimacing in pain and pulled in on himself not really wanting to talk about how he feels, like at all. It seems too private to talk about his feelings to what happened. His dark bangs shadowed his eyes as he silently endured the pain of his injuries and the pain of finding out from what sort of bloodline he comes from. "I'm sorry you had to go through that, but you don't need him, and you'll never see that b*****d again." Touga said nothing in response and didn't respond much to the movements around him has Koga began to search the forest around him, returning a few minutes later with a wild plant, "Since the mutt decided to train you physically, I'm going to help you survive mentally. Rule one. Any plant that looks like this can be rubbed on a wound in order to stop your bleeding. Rule two, never doubt your instincts. If they tell you to leave a battle, leave. Do not stay and fight." He glanced at the plant in question and only nodded to show that he understood glancing at the specific shape of the leaves and signs to look for to tell what sort of plant it is. Though as Koga spoke of trusting his instincts he muttered something barely audible, "I know that already...wouldn't have survived as long as i did in the wild if I didn't trust my instincts." He was a little sour at the moment.
Soft footsteps announced the approach of that red haired fox he'd only glimpsed a little bit in the village before, he is carrying a hide satchel, knelt before them and opened the top flap to reveal the inside made up of nothing but pockets with different herbs in each pocket, carefully wrapped and color coded, he had opened a small package to reveal a greenish mush and explained it to be a paste made from the same plant that Koga was trying to use to stanch touga's bleeding with. He had then wordlessly shared his medical supplies and helped to medicate him. Touga said nothing and let them work on him.

__________⇢xxKeita Hideyoshi █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ _____________________"Everyone tells me I'm a reincarnation of some Saint, but their wrong. I am me."Possessions: 1 Jewel Shard (Constantly being purified) With: Kagome, Inuyasha, Masato, Kurama, Kouga, Gramps"Of course I do, but I can't help but think were supposed to be here. Since coming here, all I've been called is some Saint. Hakushin, or something like that, and its got me thinking. What if were supposed to stay here forever? Can we ever go home? But then if I could, I don't think I would enjoy myself. I never though demons existed, but just from meeting the few here, I'm already having more fun here than back in our time." While he had spoken, he had placed the Longbow of Saint Hakushin onto the ground in front of it, and merely stared at it. That is, until he realized he had been rambling. "Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble." began Keita with a shaking of his head and an embarrassed facial expression. "Seeing Kagome made me think again on how much I missed our world, but that's for another time. Let's go back, okay?" questioned Keita before grabbing the bow and standing up.
With a soft smile, he turned and headed back towards where he could hear the most voices. When he had entered the clearing, Gramps was speaking to him, and to this he merely shook his head. "It's no problem. I followed your presences, and of course I'm coming with you. Its my fault they got taken, I couldn't shoot fast enough." muttered Keita as he sat down on the sidelines. On a normal day in school, he would've spoken with Kagome, but she was rather close to that male with dog ears, and doubted she even heard him calling to her. Staring at the male's features, he turned from Inuyasha to Gramps in order to take note of the differences. Gramps was a demon, and gave off a different type of energy, than Inuyasha did. "Is he incomplete or something? Maybe he's bad and that's why I can't tell?" At this point, Keita was completely oblivious to one simple fact.
He was staring at Inuyasha.
Kouga
" I'll avenge my comrades with my own hands!" a n y w a y s ;
It took no time at all for Kouga to realize that someone was getting closer, and when the red-haired demon came closer with no hostile intent, Kouga relaxed and watched the male. Taking the linen strips from the fox, he began to wrap separate areas of the male's body as gently as he could. While he was wrapping gently, the cloth was also tight enough to prevent it from easily coming undone. As Kouga finished wrapping, a sharp pain pulsed through his body. Grimacing, he undid his chest plate only to reveal a slash mark across his shoulder area. Along with the slash mark, large bite marks lined the side of his body. The demon wolves in the shadow realm had been more of a problem than he had thought, and as he wiped the blood off of him as best as he could, he took another roll of cloth before beginning to roll it around his torso.
His demonic healing rate was extremely high, but the transition from the Shadow Realm to their normal world had thrown his body off, and thus, would take some time before his healing kicked in completely. "Thanks." was all Kouga said, since he wasn't that great at "thank you's." Looking at Touga once more, he spoke. "If you had to choose, would you stay with us, or go to the Shadow Realm?" The ears of a wolf were far superior to that of a dog, and as such, it was easy for him to hear Inuyasha claim the pup as part of his pack, but it seemed like the blockhead wasn't even going to ask Touga his own opinion. So..Kouga would do it for him. After this of course, he would have to start yelling at the mutt.

Touga said nothing for a time as he closed his eyes as the two adults cleansed, disinfected and wrapped his wounds. He felt weary, and fatigued from the adventure. He had heard Inuyasha's shouting something but in his tired mind, they were just sounds. Once they get done, he'd be quite willing to fall asleep somewhere. Not really worried about his own safety while he is a human, seeing as everyone in the camp would watch over him. As Kouga began to wind bandages around his middle he spoke to him, jogging him a bit out of his exhausted daze. "If you had to choose, would you stay with us, or go to the Shadow Realm?" He didn't need to think about the answer to that question. "There is nothing for me in that world but darkness and misery. Likely wouldn't survive there long on my own even with what training I received...Life has been better with a pack then without. I want to stay with you guys...Inuyasha and everyone. I don't wanna be alone anymore..." For that statement, as kouga likely is aware of, it takes a deep responsibility to take in a stray pup into a pack. it more then feeding him or offering protection and shelter. Constant training and education is good, but also being there for the kid as a playmate and someone to lean on in troubled times, trust. A shift of priorities, the pup's well being is more important then personal affairs always.

Kurama
☆═━┈┈━═☆ Now then...
Kurama had soon finished applying the disinfectant and blood clotting pasts and ointments upon the child's injuries, while he had did this work, the wolf demon had done the other half in wrapping the boy's injuries with the rolls of linen strips. He had noticed Kouga's injuries as well. "That should just about do it for this lad, and what of you friend? I can medicate those as well while we're here." He gestured at Kouga's chest injuries then after hearing that the pup is staying with inuyasha and everyone he continued, "It is good that you have chosen a pack then, lad. But for the time being you and any others in your party who are badly injured should head back to the village for the time being. We must continue forward in the morning to locate Naraku's lair. If you haven't heard already, Lady Kino and Lady Lori have been kidnapped by that abomination. We shouldn't linger long over the wounded." It is a statement of fact, they should travel light and worry about the injured when they return from this current quest.

The sky... The sea... There is always a place to be... Izuna! Masato Tanaka Go Shikigami! Masato looked over at Keita and smiled, nodding in agreement. "Yes, but I would like to sit here for a little longer." Keita had departed from the area, Masato was alone once more in the night. While everything had gone silent, he had crossed his legs and positioned himself in a meditative stance. He wanted to go through his training for a bit before heading back to his friends. Closing his eyes, he cleared his mind from clouded thoughts and concentrated in silence. He would have to draw out the power from within him, it wasn't easy as before, but he had been able to draw out more Shikigami than the last. However he had to dispel them, otherwise they would be a handful to take care of and he wouldn't want to see the displeasure of having too many Shikigami roaming around everyday..Having five around was already a bit much for even him to take care of, he would have to put them away soon. Keeping the pace of his breathing in check, he concentrated within his mind, body, and surroundings.
The moonlight basked his presence, he stood out in the opening of the forest and what dwell there would see him within a glimpse. As he sat there, dim lights rose around him, illuminating the forest more than the moon had offered. In place of the shining light were five more Shikigami around the rock, they all stood there to see the whole surrounding forest. They didn't move from their positions and looked in one direction. Masato continued to concentrate and begin to make a few more than presently. Once another set of Shikigami had been made, he continued to draw out his powers as a monk to create more Shikigami. Twenty had been made, but Masato opened an eye at the amount Shikigami present. He made a rather small army of small spirits, he wouldn't say it was too little to make them in a short period of time they had at the moment, It was a large group no less, would it be enough to take down large enemies bigger than him? He'll have to test it later, Masato looked at each one with distinctions between them, notably the markings they had.
Masato had relieved them of their summons and they vanished without a trace. He was getting the hang of summoning them in numbers than before, he was glad in accomplishment of his summons. He smiled and rose to his feet, it was time to return to his friends. He walked carefully, not attempting to trip on the roots of the trees until he made it to the outside entrance. The group was still there and many are wounded from their battles. Masato sat back down to his original seat where he left his food by Hotaru. It had grown cold since he left and placed it on the ground, the current Shikigami got up and began to dig into the food themselves. Once the bowl had emptied, he return it back to it's original place and sat down beside Hotaru. One had jumped to his lap and he stroked the spirit, listening to any discussions around him. As they returned, she noticed Koto came through and, though she was annoyed with him, she was worried about him. As he and Rin stepped out of the shadow realm, the portal behind them callapsed almost instantly, nearly singing some of Stian's fur on his tail. It seemed that whomever had been holding it open could literally no longer do so. For the moment he observed his surroundings warily, he has never set foot in this world before so he doesn't quite know what to expect. The sky is still dark so there is virtually little change in their surroundings from where they were to where they are now. Except for the fact that the fallen castle is gone and there are no evolved plant life here that glow in the dark like in the shadow realm, it is that much more darker here without the natural colorful lighting of random plants that reflect moonlight. He has especially evolved night vision however so the absence of glowing plants didn't deter from his vision.
There were stars out, a few puffs of clouds here and there, and a first quarter moon showing above, like a Cheshire cat's grin. A dull blue white crescent in the sky. Another thing he registered is how humid the air is here, there is no humidity in the air back in the shadow realm, because there is no sunlight to warm the air. The difference in temperature is enough to almost put dew on his fur which froze over into snow flakes and drifted to the ground around him melting into sleet as they floated away from him. Rin had followed after a teetering Koto who callapsed nearby but Stian didn't immiediatly move to follow her.
His silvery eyes moved slowly around the area, noticing more people here then just the group he had traveled with and fought along side. There is the woman that the half-breed dog had sought, but there are also others. More foxes by the scents he is picking up, a couple of humans and and a she dog nearby. He warily observed the new comers as out of everyone who went on the trip, he is a stranger to those others. As he is clearly a beast from the Shadow realm, they wouldn't trust him immiediatly no doubt but should anyone attack him, he will defend himself if necessary...OOC: Where: Wooded area / Meadow Who: Rin, Koto ( K.O'd ), Miroku ( K.O'd ), Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Kiara, Shippo, Kouga, Tsuki, Rusty, Hotaru, Kurama, Touga, Gramps, Kieta, & Masato.

Tsuki & Rusega Rusty growled. "I'm with Gramps. I'm going after my sister. And I'll be damned that demon thinks he can keep her from me." He moved closer to the old fox, nodding to him. Tsuki looked at everyone. When Kurama spoke about leaving the injured, she spoke up. "Kino is a healer. If we can rescue her and Lori-chan, she can fix these injuries in the blink of an eye. I know that the three of us are going," She gestured to herself, Rusty, and Gramps. "Who else is coming with us?" S H I P P OShippo, after cowering from Inuyasha, looked up at him. "I tried Inuyasha. I tried to keep everyone safe." He kept one hand on Kagome's leg, fighting back tears and trying to look strong to the hanyou. He wasn't able to hold his gaze. When Tsuki asked who was going to save the foxes, he turned. "I am." He looked up at Kagome and Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, please help us get them back. Naraku took them. Kagura trapped them outside the barrier around the village and they were lost in a horde of demons. Please, we need you guys to help.. Please Inuyasha, Lori-chan is my first new friend in a really long time.. And Lady Kino was keeping me safe.. Please." He stared at them with pleading eyes, forcing the tears away, though all he wanted in that moment was to break down.

The sky... The sea... There is always a place to be... Izuna! Masato Tanaka Go Shikigami! Masato continue to stroke his small friend, the growing attachment the spirit had while it rested on his lap. He watched the spirit curl up in comfort, he wondered what his small friend was dreaming. He rubbed its ears, the softness of the patch of fur tickling his skin and its ears flicked once. He smiled, to watch the small beast sleep was peaceful and relaxing. He left his gaze and followed back to his companions who were present. Hotaru hadn't made a peep since his return or even after her disturbance of the male, who laid next to Gramps, resting. Everyone else were discussing or just quiet in the dead of night. He glanced at the two siblings who were in agreement with Gramps to find the two. "Let's not be hasty, everyone just returned and there are those who are injured. For now, we must eat and rest, we can continue in the morning." He seized petting the spirit and continued. "I promised to help find Kino and Lorelai, I want to find them too. If we act now, we'll tire ourselves. Not only that, our friends are hurt that someone must help carry them back to the village to get better." He shifted his attention to Tsuki and smiled. "Everyone's here to rescue those two." He looked over to Shippo who was behind Kagome, he spoke openly even though he wasn't speaking to him. "Shippo, I'm sure Inuyasha is willing to help. We're counting on you to help find Naraku, you have his scent..." He cut himself off and his eyes lit, he hadn't talked this much before had he? Wasn't much of a talker, but he was really getting involved like everyone else so it made sense.
He shifted his gaze to the youkai who had been there in silence, he had just notice the creature in their group. Had this youkai come with his friend? If so then certainly this youkai was their ally. He sat there, studying the cat with curiosity. He knew not to stare at the beast, but he couldn't help it with wonder. "You must be one of Inuyasha's friends." He patted the Shikigami to awaken. The spirit perked up and jumped off his lap. He stood up and went over to the food, pouring it into a spare bowl. He approached to the cat youkai, but put himself at a small distance. "I'm sure you're hungry. Here, there is plenty of food to go around." He placed the bowl in front of him. Hopefully this youkai wasn't as picky as Sesshomaru. "I'm Masato." Demon Form: Gramps heaved a weary sigh as he tried to reassure Shippo, "You did your best, lad. We all did...our best just wasn't enough."
He turned to Inuyasha as he explained, "While you were away, a horde of demons took advantage of your absence and attacked the village. They broke through the barriers Kurama and I had set up, so we were forced to retreat to higher ground. We managed to guide the majority of the villagers to a sacred burial site while fighting off the demons, but...we weren't able to save everyone and there were several fatalities. I'm truly sorry." Gramps bowed his head in shame as he continued, "I managed to erect another barrier around the remaining villagers while Shippo and Lori-chan helped Lady Kaede to prevent everyone from panicking and leaving the safety of the barrier. There was another attack the following night, but we were much luckier and only the houses were destroyed which were easily rebuilt."
His face darkened and Gramps's body shook with rage as he concluded with, "As if two nightly attacks in a row weren't enough, that... DEVIL Naraku sent one of his minions to kidnap Kino and my precious granddaughter. We need all the help we can get in facing that monstrosity, otherwise we all might as well be embarking on a suicide mission. I know all too well we can't just walk up to his door and politely ask for our comrades back, but I'm certainly not just going to sit back and do nothing while our companions are in Naraku's clutches."

Tsuki & Rusega Tsuki looked at Masato. "I don't doubt that everyone wants to help. But you have to understand, Kino is our sister, and Lorelai is his only granddaughter. We are the ones with the most to lose and we are the most eager to rescue them." She paused, realizing her answer may have come off as more venomous than she wanted. Not knowing what to say after that, she looked to the ground and stayed quiet. Rusty looked at the old fox when he spoke about not being able to just walk up to Naraku's home. "I don't know about you. But I could give a damn about anything he has laid out. I'll get my sister back. And I won't stop until she and the little one are safe." His eyes darkened and he clenched his fists. His words were heavy with rage, yet full of truth. Tsuki knew he would stop at nothing. His ability made him much more stubborn than most. She grabbed his arm and looked at the older fox. "What he's trying to get across is that we may not be foxes, but Kino is still our sister and we protect any fox as much as we would any wolf."She knew that the males were itching to move on, to save the kitsunes. But she knew that the others would throw a fit if they just made the decision to leave. She turned to the others. "Maybe some of us unable to battle should take the injured back to the village and the rest of us who are fit enough can go ahead. If Naraku is as bad as you make him out to be, I don't think any of us want Kino and Lorelai in his grasp for very long." She was surprised by her own diplomatic remark. She turned to the dog hanyou. "Inuyasha, if you feel up to it, it would be a great help if you came with us." S H I P P OShippo glanced between everyone as they spoke. He looked up at Kagome and Inuyasha. Then he let go of Kagome and moved over to Tsuki and Rusty. He looked up at the she-wolf. She glanced down at him, nodding. The little fox sat near her leg, watching the others. He was emotionally stalled between anger and depression. Tears threatened to ball up at the corners of his eyes. His tail shook and his little fists were clenched. He bit his lip, trying to hold back all of the emotion, able to taste a small bit of blood.

Koto barely registered the others moving him. What brought his attention though was Rin's sweet scent. He blindly reached out for her but he was too weak to do so. Sighing heavily, he partially turned his face towards her. "Rin..." His voice was nothing more than a whisper. He tried to focus but found it next to impossible.
Inuyasha allowed Kagome to lead him to sit down. Instead of having her sit next to him, he pulled her into his lap as he snagged a bowl of soup for each of them. As he ate, he listened to the others. He was glad for that. He didn't want Miroku and Sango to go through anything else. Kirara would be able to transport the two of them back to the village. When Shippo came up to him and began speaking, he pulled the kit near and lightly bopped him. "Don't worry bout it runt. You did what you could do." He listened to the others as he ate quickly. Typical Naraku. A growl slipped out. He nodded to Tsuki abruptly. "Both me and Kagome are going. I of all people have a score to settle with the b*****d and Kagome ain't leaving me. The runts coming too." He said the last part because he knew Shippo had been worried about Kagome. He knew how he thought of Kagome really. He listened to Hotaru and nodded. "The wench is right. We'll go after Naraku and the rest of you head on back." Hotaru accepted what she was told and found herself sitting once more. She listened to all of their remarks and Inuyasha's words as well. They were all correct. They would not all be able to go. Glancing at the humans, she studied them. Perhaps it would be best if they returned to the village to help protect it. Finally speaking, she spoke loud enough for them to hear her without having to speak overly loud. "You are all correct. The humans should return to the village. I have a request for them to gather the villagers and go into the southern lands for safety. All of my people will welcome them. Myself, the kit, the elder fox, Inuyasha, Kagome, Tsuki and Rusty shall continue on with us. Kurama shall as well. The humans should return with my general to the village in the morning and he will lead them to a safe village deep within my lands. Touga will go as well. If Lady Rin is willing, she and her companion will go with them." Focusing her gaze on Rin, she allowed a soft smile to appear. "It would be best not to put you in any danger young one and I can see my general has need of you." Focusing back on the others, her eyes hardened briefly. "It seems that most of us now have a reason to hate this Naraku. I would ask this as I do not wish any unnecessary casualties."

Demon Form: Gramps was positively thrilled and elated at the number of people who were still coming to aid in the rescue mission. He turned and gave a low grateful bow to each of the willing volunteers, bowing to Tsuki, Rusty, and Inuyasha last. "Thank you all for your help, I am forever in your debt. If ever any of you need any assistance in return, please don't hesitate to ask. I will be more than happy to return the favor."
In response to Tsuki stating she and rusty would protect any fox as much as any wolf, Gramps wore a sheepish expression as he apologetically explained, "Terribly sorry, I certainly didn't mean to sound picky. I have nothing against wolves or any other race of demons. I suppose I've been isolated with Lori-chan for so long that I just haven't had any reason to mingle with anyone outside my own race until now. It's an honor getting to know you all." Gramps smiled and dipped his head in a respectful bow before turning to Shippo and gently asking, "What's troubling you, m'boy? Would you like to talk about it?"

Kino is part of their family and it would leave a lot of grief if anything were to happen to her, that he could understand. If they go off now, then they'll wear themselves out before even a fight could happen if they did meet the yokai. Before he could open his mouth to continue, Hotaru spoke up to their large group. He glanced at her from where he stood by Stian. He did promise to help, but it seemed he was returning back to the village. He looked at all those who were injured in the vicinity, it would make sense with those who have lesser strength to help escort the injured back to the village. This being an all yokai mission except Kagome who was human, but he probably had been around Inuyasha and the gang longer than he had arrived and thus leaving her behind is something Inuyasha wouldn't agree on, or at least that's what he thought. He just wasn't strong enough it seemed, he hadn't considered about having strength though that was the thing about this era. If he were to return to the village, he'll continue his training. With his thoughts in place, he looked at Hotaru. "Alright. I'll help return the injured back to the village, but promise me to be careful."Location - Forest Action - Thinking and listening Conversation - Stian, Rin, Koto, Miroku, Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Kiara, Shippo, Kouga, Tsuki, Rusty, Hotaru, Kurama, Touga, Gramps, Kieta.
