Mitzi glanced over at Yin, but he was the only one here... she had no clue what was still happening in the room they had been in. "I don't know," she replied, hoping they were all right. She blinked a bit as Imryn mentioned the other islands; there had been a room like this at War, it seemed reasonable the other islands had them too, and the Hunters might have attacked them as well.
She was starting to feel a bit better when she saw Alex and Roch materialize. The weremantis and zomboil left before she could get up to go over, and she was just rising to her feet when she heard a voice call her name. She turned, and was surprised to find the onryo ghoul. "Reiko?" The last they had talked, they'd had a huge fight, and then talking with Imryn she'd realized... oh gods. What if something had happened to the ghost before she'd gotten to work things out?
She quickly walked over, not wanting to put this off in case more Hunters showed up. "Reiko, I'm sorry, what I said was out of line." And before the onryo could stop her, she pulled the other ghoul into a hug. "I'm glad to see you're all right."

Reiko was actually a little surprised by the apology. But then again, perhaps being dissipated and having the everloving crap kicked out of you made things seem less important overall.
"I-I was out of line as well, Mitzi, and I'm sorry too." She said. "I really did blow the whole thing out of proportion and-" The hug caught her off-guard, and she stopped midsentence, hugging Mitzi back tightly. "I'm glad to see you're okay too," she said. Suddenly, she was feeling much more ready to go back into the fight.

There was a terrifying moment when the Reaper was scared her friend would not accept the apology, would push her away... and then Reiko was hugging her back, and everything was all right. She'd seen all the friends she knew were here, seen them safe, and that was a major load off her mind, at least for the moment.
Of course, that didn't mean they would stay that way.
She pulled back with a sigh, and took another quick glance over the other ghoul to make sure she was okay. Mitzi herself probably looked a bit frazzled, but the only real sign of her fighting was the scar across her left side, which showed beneath her cut and bloodied obi.
"I think... as much as it'd be nice to stay somewhere quiet, this is probably not the only place the Hunters are attacking." She swallowed, not at all happy with the idea; she didn't know that Reiko had already come from another such battle. "We maybe should check the other islands."

For a long moment Roch just sat there. Then, masochist that he was, he shoved himself to his feet and headed for the portal again. "I'm goin' to Famine," he said simply before stepping through. They could do what they wanted.
What a great friend OTL.

Reiko looked down at herself. There were no injuries from either fight, fortunately. She had dissipated while still conscious both times, which was an...experience.
"It is not." Reiko said. "The Isle of Conquest was attacked as well. I was there, it is why I arrived here at Death so late into the battle." Remembering the fight there, a slightly odd look flitted across her face briefly. "Hunters. Is that what our enemy is called?" Hunters. It made sense. They hunted Halloweeners, hurt them...hurt her friends. She was very new to the world of Halloween, having only died as a human a few months before, and she still didn't know all there was to know. Her okaa-san, her adoptive mother, had given her the broad strokes, but had never seen a reason to frighten her with boogey tales of Hunters. Reiko was not the sort of child that needed to be kept in line with such things. She was learning about them now, in a very personal, rage-inducing sort of way.
She felt the same instincts that had sent her into a near-raging frenzy on Conquest bubbling back up. 'Rip them. Tear them. Hurt them. Kill them. They would not hesitate to do the same to you.' "We should move. I am certain, now, that the other islands are under attack as well. Famine or War?"

Danny's eyes fluttered open and a slight smile crossed her face as she rexognized the warmth of Rikki's body holding hers. Somewhere in that blur, Yin was there too.
"Roch?" she mumbled, "Where's...

Kettil hung back for the time being. Feeling alone, tired, and still very angry about various events that had taken place. Was it safe here? Really?
..He got out his phone frowning a little. Kettil should have texted her sooner but he had gotten a bit caught up in things that were happening - hopefully she wouldn't be too upset with him.
With a small sigh he started to send a text to Lark. pinchmonster Hey Lar...Things aren't lookin too hot round here...Ran into some hunters. Still can't come home...Gotta go check on stuff on other isles...I'll be careful, ok?

"Not War." She didn't even let Reiko fully finish before she had thrown that down. No, stressed as she was already, she did not need treetop bridges thrown into the mix. Especially not if it ended up being chases involving Hunters across those treetop bridges. "So I guess that means Famine."
As she started to walk towards the portal to Famine, she glanced back to Imryn, gesturing her to follow. She should introduce the two ghost ghouls, and hopefully this would go better than the last couple times she'd tried to introduce Imryn to one of her friends. Then she turned to Reiko, commenting, "And yeah, they're really Hunters, like in the stories. I couldn't believe it either when I first found out." Then she was stepping through the portal, and gone.

Not bad.
The ghost appeared at the portal sitting. His back against a wall, his knees bent, and his legs pulled close to him while his arms were wrapped around it. He was in fetal position, sitting. Only an eye was open, scanning the area around him.
He thought things would be a lot more painful. If asked what he thought, he wouldn't be sure how to answer what the pain would be like. He expected some kind of pain, something horrible, and something unimaginable. But there was nothing.
The ghost pushed himself up off the floor, patting away the dust on his clothes, and made his way for another isle.

Reiko gave a sharp nod. Mitzi's discomfort with the idea of going to War was obvious, so she wouldn't push. Back to Famine it was then.
She followed in silence, her own mind a bubbling, raging turmoil. One thing was certain. The next Hunter she saw was going to experience one very, very furious onryo.
They weren't going to like her angry.

Rikki brushed his fingers through her hair and hushed her. "He was here, but he said he was going to Famine." Honestly, Rikki was torn. He was certain there were other areas that were going to need his help, but he didn't want to put Danny through that. Still, he was feeling a lot better, so he felt it was kind of important that he helped out where he could.

Imryn pushed herself up off the floor and gave her wings a few stretches before flying again. Might as well go with Mitzi and the other ghoul who came in, plus she hadn't seen much of Famine yet, so any brief peeks she could sneak while on their way to the boss room would be interesting.

He woke up there, there at the portal again however he wasn't sure how he had gotten there.
Wasn't he falling? Apparently he was one of the last to wake up and considering none of the hunters were there he assumed that they had died or something when the floor disappeared.
Joachim didn't know really what to do, he didn't want to give up he had spent the last two weeks doing what he could to learn to fight and so far he had done nothing of the sort other than being a mess. He could go, go to another island and fight.
Well it wasn't as if anyone was going to miss him if he did he thought before stepping through a portal.

Danny nodded slowly at Rikki, leaning into the hand that went through her hair, not quite understanding everything he was saying. Something about Roch being a famine. In all honesty, for Danny it didn't matte so long as he was okay.
She noticed her boilfriend's eyes flicking back and forth nervously, and intuitively knew he wasn't okay sitting still. She onl knew because she too experienced the same feeling most of the time. Staying still was hard.
Danny smiled and put a hand on his cheek, patting it gently. "Hey," she murmured, "I'll be okay. Go help." She looked down and added, "Just stay safe okay?"

((Entering))
Moure hadn't made it into the room by the time something had happened within. Unable to enter, he'd headed toward the portal area, around the same time as everyone started reappearing. People he'd seen enter the room were popping up here...were they dissapated then?
He looked around, scanning the figures. Had Edel made it out as well? Finally, his eyes caught on something blue, and he traced it down to a prone figure of Edel laying across the floor. His makeshift heart caught in his throat, and he raced over to her side. She didn't look too badly injured, or unconcious...Had the room tired her out so much that she'd collapsed upon leaving it? If she was resting, he didn't want to wake her, but he knew he had to make sure she was okay. "Edel...?" His voice was soft, and he sat down next to her, worry etched across his features still. Nothing would move him from this spot until he knew if Edel was okay. He wasn't going to leave her.
Instead, he attentively looked around, always on the watch in case something should happen that could lead to danger. He would shield her if anything turned violent. Quietly, he spoke again. "I'm here. Rest if you need to, but know that I'm here, okay?" If she needed anything, she only needed to speak it, and the patchwork would do his best, his absolute best, to try to help her.
