"Ok, ok, fair enough," he grinned. Though, he still had a LOT of shinies. The big pile of treasure in his room said that much. And that was just a fraction of the size of what his parents had back at home. Now that. Was a treasure hoard.
"But do you understand the shiny a little better now?"

Because really, the look on his face had been quite humorous according to the grin on Shehk's face as she answered him. "Thank you for the little lesson."

"No problem. Any time," Jericho grinned. He took in a breath and looked around them.
"Anyway, are you ready to head back? I can fly a little more steadily this time. We wouldn't want to do all the crazy loops on a full stomach now, would we?"

More flying?
Shehk seemed to perk up in a manner similar to Jericho and the mention of shinies at the idea of it, her tail wagging. She was probably two steps away from being like a dog ready to go on a car ride.
"I'm ready if you're wanting to head back now." she answered, pushing away from the crate to stand up. "Can't say it wouldn't sound fun to push our luck, but the side effect of a possibly upset stomach would probably not be for the best."

Laughing, Jericho got on up and stretched out. Yes, a relaxing flight home sounded pretty good right about now.
"Yeah, let's not do that," he grinned before carefully picking her up, "Ready?"

She laughed a bit, shifting as she was picked up and carefully looping her arms around his neck to hold on as well.
"Dunno. Does 'incredibly excited' count as being ready?" she asked jokingly.

The dragon just chuckled at that while he made sure he had a good hold onto her. Once he was sure of that, he took flight, easing his way on up until they were quite a bit above the treeline once more. From there, he turned towards the school, flying at a pretty steady and relaxed pace.

Shehk grinned more and more as there was lift off, staring down towards where they'd just been before she started to look all around again to enjoy the view while she still had it.
It was kind of a nice change of pace from the earlier craziness. Not to say she hadn't enjoyed the earlier craziness either, it had been fun. "You're going to spoil me with all this flying."

Jericho might have had a bit of a mischievous look to his eyes at that. He might have been amused with the way Shehk was reacting to all of this. It was always interesting to see people's first impressions and reactions towards flying.
"Is that really a bad thing?" he asked.

She looked back to him. "Mmmmm, I don't think it is. Depends on if you think I should be spoiled like this or not, I guess." she laughed, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek.
"It's nice, even calming in a way."

The dragon's cheeks took a rosy hint as she kissed him there. It wasn't quite something he as expecting. Smiling down at her, he nodded and continued on.
"It is. Sometimes, when things are kinda tough, I like to just fly around. It's.. kinda therapeutic I guess."

There was probably a 'Look Jack, I'm flying' joke to be made somewhere amongst all of this.
"Therapeutic is a good word for it. I imagine that when stuff like school or whatever gets stressful this is a good way to get distance from it." She sighed contently.
"It's definitely nice."

Nodding, Jericho smiled, spotting the school not too far ahead. Before long, he was touching down gently in front of the undead dormitory where he let Shehk down.
"Well. We're home now," he said while relaxing his wings back into their resting position.
"So uh.. next time. Deer hunting right?"

It was disappointing for it to be over so soon, really. She'd been having fun, after all. Still, he'd even taken the effort to take her right to her door (well, her dorm. Close enough) so she didn't fuss when she was back on the ground again.
"I..I guess we are." she said, sighing a bit before she reached up to loop her arms back around his neck for a hug.
"I think deer hunting for next time would be fun. I've actually never been so it'll be an experience."
