 Ana froze in fear the moment that she saw the woman's true form and she began to shiver with such fear as she had never felt before. She'd always hated creatures that were considered 'paranormal'. She hated them because they frightened her. Give her a werewolf or a avampire any day, because she felt confident about fighting them. She then took out a cross and threw it around his neck before diving in front of him. "No, I won't just stand behind a Norm. It's my job to handle such creatures and I won't let you die because of my fear."╔════════════════════════════════

"That doesn't mean that you have to protect me, fool." Ana hissed as she stepped out again, standing beside him and not behind him. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably. "As a Soul Vanquisher, I ask for you to either get out of here or prove to be of some use, especially with that leg." Her voice had become cold and emotionless with so few of words. She unsheathed a sword that was hanging from her belt and twirled it around to make sure that it was the one that she wanted. Yes, iron would do. "And I won't let you die, boy, because that means I'll never be able to find that idiot that killed your father after announcing his identity to the world."╔════════════════════════════════

Ana was surrised that he knew that much, but then again, he might have witnessed the man's execution. "Well, I'll be next on the list after this fight." She said as she also lunged forward, intending to meet the demon head-on with her long sword.╔════════════════════════════════

Ana froze instantly and the demon's talons met her body, flinging her across the room and into the wall, leaving a large dent where her body made contact with it. Blood gushed from a long cut along her jaw bone and slowly stood, forgetting about the pain for the moment before rushing at the creature form behind, slashing at its back with lightning fast movements.╔════════════════════════════════

Ana's weaponry was mighty insufficient to deal with a demon even on this level. Ana dodged the next attack of the demon, but barely. She didn't understand why her weaponry was not working properly, but conintued to fight with all of the strenght, speed, and vigor that she possessed. "Damn you! Just die already!" She snarled as she buried the blade in the creature's head.╔════════════════════════════════

The demon raised hew claws to kill the vanquisher when suddenly something piercing her side. Nobuyuki was holding a pure white katana in hand. The demon let go of Ana and attacked Nobuyuki. Ana could endure the pain without giving way and the moment that the demon dropped her, she lay there for a moment, watching through a haze of dizziness as the creature attacked Nobuyuki. Suprisingly, it angered her more than anything to see the boy being hurt when she could prevent it. She took up the blade and ran and leaped, lodging it into the demon's back before pulling it out and trying to slice the creature's head from it's body.╔════════════════════════════════

Ana quickly threw the fox down when she realized that it had been the blade that she'd used to slay the beast. "You nasty little snot! Why didn't you help out earlier?!" She demanded before she remembered that Nobuyuki was injured. She limped over to where he lay on the ground, she began to take out some of her healing salves and other such things that would help the wounds, as well as a bottle of sweetly scented liquid. She looked at the fox, "If you would actually eat that thing, I would be more than grateful. I'm going to make sure that he remembers none of this." She said as she tilted his head back, opened his mouth, and poured a smal amount of the liquid down his throat. "I don't want to have to kill him for being the target of a bloodthirsty demon."╔════════════════════════════════

Ana nodded and slowly began to pick him up, half dragging him out to his car and set him in the passenger's seat before climbing into the driver's seat. "I know just the place to take him. The hospital would just complicate things. I'll call in a team to undo the damage done in his house, too." She drove him out of the city and to a small house in the country several miles out. She climbed from the car and knocked on the door.
An older man, appearing to be in his mid fourties, opened the door and snorted with contempt when he saw that it was Analiese. "What do you want?"
"There's a human boy in that car that was attacked by a demon. The creature was slain by my hands and he's in need of repairs, before his leg is beyond all hopes of being useful ever again." Ana pleaded. For the first time in her entire career as a Soul Vanquisher, she pleaded with her mentor, a man who had never dealt with such emotion.
He snorted again and walked out to the car and lifted Nobyuki out of it with ease. Then he carried the young man into the house and brought the boy to one of the many guest bedrooms before setting to work on the martial artist. Ana watched nervously from the doorway before her mentor stood and slammed the door in her face. She turned and began to frantically make calls to make sure that the scene would be completely removed of any traces that there had been a demon attack there.╔════════════════════════════════
