"The one, huh?" Mizaka looked up at the ceiling. "I used to like this guy. I thought he was the one as well. He didn't die. In fact, I'm pretty sure he's still around, wherever he is. But...he did hurt me...bad..." She shook her head, not wanting to go into any details. Mizaka closed her eyes and rested her forehead on her knees. "We've gotten some rotten luck in our lives, haven't we?"

Kyle frowned, feeling angry at whoever the guy she was involved with was. He might be an idiot and a bit of a pervert, but not even he would hurt a girl on purpose. "Mmm hmm..." he nodded in agreement, "Though there's always someone who has it worse..." It probably wouldn't mean as much to her because she didn't have someone to compare her life to... Looking at the clock, he noticed that they'd been talking for about a half hour, and a certain someone wasn't back yet. "...Think she was drunk enough to get lost?"

Looking up at the clock on the wall, Mizaka was surprised to see how much time had already passed by. "Oh great. Kiah's probably wandering around the hallway, singing drunken songs or something." Sighing in annoyance, she got out of her chair. "I suppose we should go look for her."
