Herryk was feeling a little exhausted still and despite the water rolling towards him he just... he couldn't force himself to rise to his feet.
Instead, he just kind of... brushed some sand in the general direction of the castle.

Dropping his last bit of sand onto his foot, Herryk hopped around like it was the end of the world.
Even still, they'd done pretty good. All things considered. And the butter was kind of wearing off, so that was pretty neat.
"JD." Herryk watched the demon. "Tell Herryk of Freya exploding."
He sounded very, very interested.

Nuru finally managed to pat a bit of sand into place. He couldn't figure out what the Jack was wrong with him that he kept failing so badly during this.
This resulted in him pondering the meaning of unlife.

"Er."It suddenly occured to JD that Herryk was a very, very large, intimidating boil. His dark form, as he stood near him, very nearly blotted out the sun. It also occured to him that, given his attitude toward birdghoul, she was probably like... his ghoulfriend. Or kid sister. Either way, things at team TURDD were suddenly getting even darker. I mean, he supposed that on a technical level he hadn't done anything wrong. He had even had relatively noble intentions when he went to rescue the ghoul. However, there HAD been some, uh. Lip on lip contact, so to speak. He would have to handle this delicately. His hands flew to his hair nervously. Be cool, be COOL. "Look man, your galpal got a little hellacious on me. I was just chilling out, you know, maxing, it was all cool. And she's all like, comes out of nowhere - screaming and getting all horizontal on me! I couldn't just like, leave her there right? SO I uh..." Dig deeper, watson, "I gave her a little strictly medicinal tête-à -tête and she was just. She became. The bomb. Like, literally. Tick tick boom."Surely that was PC enough for everyone, right?

*** ROLL 4 20-sided dice. ADD THIS TO THE BOSS'S BASE HP POOL OF 100. THIS IS THE BOSS'S HP*** THE KRAKEN'S HP: 122/ 122  ((OOC: BONUS MECHANICS: Real Fake Bird. The real fake bird really looks up, not fearing death-ah. -50% damage done from the kraken PER ATTACK THE STUDENTS DO. The breaking of the ice on the news that JD maybe, just maybe kissed the lips that kissed Herryk's was graciously interrupted by oh god flailing tentacles. Unfortunately, it wasn't Tits-On-Stilts-Gripe-Soda (didn't tentacle-heads have a literal naming system? whatever) but some kind of new and foul beast. A beast intent on destroying the castle. He was pretty sure some of the suckers on that thing were the size of his head. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard a**. He paused for moment to try and determine WHICH situation was the rock, and which was the hardened a**, but was interrupted from his musing by flailing snake-limbs. Castle siege had begun. At least it's looming appendage blocked out some of the sun.
