Ares knew better than to argue and simply smiled softly "Thank you" He murmured as he picked up the key, watching the boy leave the classroom. He wasn't sure why Damien was being good to him now...perhaps guilt? Though that didn't really seem to be the case in his opinion...still he felt like he had made progress and perhaps Damien had grown to like him, if only just a little bit? After a few minutes of just sitting there he headed to the room and took a nap, waking up a little while before the final bell would ring. The only thing he took was a bottle of water, since he was trying to hydrate himself after getting that bad of a fever. After leaving and locking up the room he headed to the music room, getting there just as the bell rang, rather than going to his desk he wandered over to the piano and rested his hand on the ivory keys lightly, wondering if he should play or not.... He wasn't bad at playing the piano, but he was far better with the Violin..

Damien came into the room yawning a bit and spotted Ares by the piano. He smiled a bit and stayed quiet and came over to it and patted his shoulder. "Enjoying yourself? How about I play and you play your violin, you pick a song and we'll play." He gently pushed the man off and sat down and played a bit then looked at Ares waiting for the song he wanted to play.

Ares let the other push him off the bench, standing up as he thought of a song, before he smiled and walked over to get his violin "how about Ave Maria?" he commented, taking his violin from it's case and tuning it quickly by ear, his pitch had always been very good. "Well?" He cooed, holding his bow in a ready position as he placed his violin under his chin, waiting for the other to begin.

Damien nodded and thought of what song that was before remembering. He shut his eyes for a brief moment and began to play the song. They both sounded rather amazing with this being their first time playing together and it almost sounded as if they had played together for years.

Ares ended up closing his lilac hued orbs as he played, simply trusting the violin and himself to create the proper melody. When the song came to an end he lifted the bow from the strings lightly, letting the last note ring in the air for a moment, before he let his eyes flutter open again and smiled "Well, that was nice" He murmured as he walked over to his desk to place his violin back in its case. He didn't usually play with others...he used to, but not since he had moved here. He let his gaze dart to Damien after he finished packing up his violin and picked it up "I should get home. I need to eat and finish up my plans for the field trip" He stated lightly, since he had called the museum and the only day they could go was tomorrow...so he had to figure out how things would work.

Damien stood up and stretched a bit again. "Alright then, I'll be heading home as well. Peace out," he threw the peace sign and grabbed his backpack as he headed out.

Ares nodded and left not long after Damien did, locking up like usual and headed home. Once home he made himself dinner, whilst he discussed matters on the phone with the coordinator of the museum. He then decided to let people split up into groups of two or three people and go around the museum by themselves, then meet up at 2:00 for a question and answer session. After that the kids were free to go home. Once he got off the phone Ares had a quick shower, before heading to bed.
The next morning he was up bright and early, heading to the school after having breakfast and getting dressed for the days events. Once he got to the school he made his way to the music room and took a seat at his desk, knowing all the students would bring in their forms since it meant a day out of school. Ares watched as students filed in when the morning bell rang and forms were placed upon his desk. He simply waited until everyone was in before he explained the schedule and how things would work, so that they could get into groups now. That also meant that they would choose their partner to sit with on the bus too. "The bus will be here in about ten minutes, so decide amongst yourselves... " He commented, waiting patiently for them to decide. It was then that he realized that they had a odd number of students in the class, and he knew that he'd likely be with one of his students for the day, not that he minded.

The class grew loud as students began finding their friends and decided to be each others partner. He sat there knowing full well no one wanted to be with him so he just sat there yawning. In the end he figured he would have to be with Mr. Vellon but he didn't mind since he actually liked this guy unlike other people. Damien simply waited and headed to the bus after everyone was seated he sat in the front where the teachers always sat and the only seat left anyway. He sat by the window and Ares would be sitting beside him.

Ares watched as people formed groups, knowing full well who would be left out...which honestly disappointed him...but there was nothing he could do about it. Still he wanted the other kids to accept Damien.... He would simply have to keep trying. Ares was the last to board the bus, and took a seat beside Damien after he talked to the bus driver for a moment. "Well you look excited" He mused, kind of teasing Damien for his usual poker face he seemed to be pulling. "It'll be fun, so you can relax today" He added with a smile, before he turned his gaze away to look at the rest of his students, feeling the bus jerk forward a bit, and off they headed to the Museum.
He wasn't sure who started it, but eventually they had started singing show tunes, which amused Ares to no extent...mainly because half of the kids knew every word, and the others just sang what they knew and made up the rest, whilst some were completely silent, just listening to their peers.

Damien had shrugged at Ares's statement and as the bus went on toward the museum, others began to sing. He was one of the silent ones but he did not listen to them but ignored them instead. He sang his own little song in his head and was content on that and so he kept to himself during the ride there.

Ares stood up just as the bus pulled up to the museum and turned to face his students "Alright, remember to meet up at the front at two. don't be late. Now go have fun" He stated with a smile as he stepped off the bus and watched his students file off, whilst he waited for Damien. In his opinion the male didn't seem to be in all that great of a mood, though perhaps he was over thinking things....it was simply hard to tell with Damien.

Damien got down from the bus once everyone got out and went off with their partners to explore. He walked over to Ares and didn't bother waiting for Ares to lead him where to go. In fact it seemed that Damien knew exactly where he was going. Soon he was in the building and heading to a specific exhibit and once he was there he looked around at all the famous instruments that were donated by famous artists of course from those who played classical music in orchestras ect. There in the middle of the room was a bench where he took a seat and stared at a flute in a case shinning brilliant due to the lights hitting it.

Ares found himself following Damien, not wanting to lose the male so he made sure he didn't get distracted along the way. Lilac eyes followed Damiens gaze to the flute within one of the nicer looking displays. "Something i should know? or should i leave it be...?" He voiced softly, a bit curious as to why the boy had come to this specific exhibit, but he didn't want to pry into Damiens private life. He took a seat next to Damien on the bench, letting his gaze remain on the flute sheltered by it's transparent glass casing.

Damien glanced around for a moment before looking at Ares smiling a bit. He looked away from the other male and glanced back at the flute. "My great grandma played a lot of shows with that flute, she enjoyed playing so much and she passed it down to her daughter when she passed and her daughter, my grandmother passed it down to my mother when she passed. They were all passionate when it came to playing the flute and my mother had hoped to have a child to pass down that passion. Even though I chose the piano over the flute I still wanted to learn a lot about the flute so when she became sick she had time to teach me more about it and the piano. She had hoped to pass it down to me but I told her that it just wasn't the instrument for me and so she contacted this museum and they wanted it no matter what considering the history behind it. It wasn't the way she wanted it but in the end she was happy that others would see it and know the people who's lips touched it. Though from time to time they allow me to play it, considering my mother donated it with one condition which was letting me and only me play it from time to time. Anyway I haven't played it since last year...so figured today would be a good time...though perhaps it's best I come back when the field trip is over." He looked away from the transparent case and looked over at Ares with a slight smile.
